I bought a race car ride experience with Virgin Experience Gifts several years ago. Each year, however, the availability to book has been limited to either two days in each year or no days at all . As a result I have not been able to book the experience and the company hasn't helped me get a booking. They refuse to give me a refund. For example, in 2025 when I contacted them about availability, they said there was one weekend available in June but when I have them my gift certificate information, they changed and said that "no, there wasn't anything available". Tough luck basically.
