VistaPrint unauthorized charges, spyware, theft of cc #

There is an international scam and fraud being run by a company called Vistaprint - claiming over 15 million customers world-wide http://careers.vistaprint.com/vistaprint_locations.html they also have a U.S based office in Massachusetts where I live.

I have just discovered after 6 years of purchasing 90+ orders of business marketing collateral from them for multiple personal/business items and on corresponding credit cards (five to be exact) that I am a victim of Vistaprint’s selling/providing/giving/exchanging my personal information and CREDIT CARD numbers to 3rd party affiliates and receiving financial kick backs for unauthorized billing/charges for bogus membership services and subscriptions to phantom companies! Apparently this scam has been running for many years and has affected thousands if not hundreds of thousands of consumers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VistaPrint#Controversy:_Rewards_Program

Vistaprint and their affiliates Vertrue http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertrue (Up to 2004 it was called MemberWorks or MWI) and THEIR dozens of bogus affiliates under yet another company running scams – Adaptive Marketing http://www.adaptivemarketing.com/memprogs_overview.asp )

To date I have found over $1, 000 in bogus subscriptions and turns out two co-workers and family members have also been scammed and stolen from!

There is a Harvard Professor Ben Edelman who specifically reported September 30, 2008 Auditing Spyware Advertising Fraud: Wasted Spending at VistaPrint at http://www.benedelman.org/news/093008-1.html
Ben http://www.benedelman.org/bio/ holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at Harvard University, a J.D. from the Harvard Law School, an A.M. in Statistics from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College (summa cum laude). He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

I've reported this fraudulent, unauthorized credit card billing and breech of security and privacy to countless state/federal agencies including the FBI, FTC, FCC, three AG's offices, 5 BBB's and a HUGE number of state/federal agencies (see below) along with disputing/canceling credit cards...to date I have received NO HELP or response...

There have been multiple class action lawsuits nationally against ALL of these companies and their affiliates by various state AG’s offices for violations of the federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act and the federal Electronic Communications and Privacy Act, as well as asserting various state statutory and common law claims, relating to certain membership discount programs offered by the third party merchants on VistaPrint's U.S. website.

I found this post by an employee http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Soc/soc.culture.quebec/2005-12/msg00836.html

In August, 2008, Meisleman, Denlea, Packman, Carton & Eberz, P.C. filed a class action complaint in federal court in Massachusetts on behalf of Deloris Gordon and all others similarly situated (the “Class”) alleging that Adaptive Marketing, LLC and its parent company Vertrue, Inc., along with VistaPrint USA, Inc. and its parent company VistaPrint Limited (collectively “Defendants”), are perpetrating; specifically, the practice of imposing unauthorized charges upon unsuspecting consumers who order services or merchandise from VistaPrint and whose personal and confidential credit card and bank account information is then accessed by Adaptive Marketing and Vertrue without Plaintiff’s or the Class’ prior permission.
From all my research online this seems to be an international scam affecting hundreds of thousands if not millions of people...and generates millions of dollars for unauthorized charges defrauding consumers internationally! Every day I am uncovering MORE companies that are billing me, providing me with unordered materials/subscriptions and services... Sadly I've just discovered this has been going on since 2002 and involves countless charges...because my husband pays the bills I haven't even noticed until recently...the charges are also very small and appear to be subscriptions...therefore they've been overlooked by both of us.

Because Vistaprint provided our credit card info to an UNKNOWN number of companies I can only imagine what I’m dealing with. Based on the online complaints about them some people have been billed for HUNDREDS to THOUSANDS of dollars!

When I contacted our Boston Investigative Producer at Channel 5 she was actually working on this very story because its happened to many other people who contacted them asking for help on this same situation…

Some of the steps I am currently taking or have already taken

1. Contacted the Massachusetts Attorney Generals office where Vistaprints corporate office is located - http://www.mass.gov/Cago/docs/Consumer/consumercomplaintform.pdf - they responded that they could NOT help me because they don’t handle business to business complaints. On 12/3/08 - I recontacted them and informed them that this also affects my personal credit cards and they are going to open the complaint again.

2. Contacted the President and CEO of the company Robert S Keane's at [protected]@vistaprint.com demanding Vistaprint provide me with any/all third companies they sold/gave my personal info and credit card #’s to since 2002. (I haven’t heard back)

3. Contacted and filed complaint with the Better Business Bureau of MA - surprise surprise they already have a BAD RATING here http://reports.bosbbb.org/Boston/Public/Reports/RR/Report.aspx?i=82218 - I received a call from
Ainsley Dryden Help Desk Team Supervisor VistaPrint [protected] ext 5585 - who happened to call me on my cell phone at 7 p.m. from JAMAICA. He told me he responds to all BBB complaints. I am supposed to be credited for any/all of the charges from Passport to Fun, BusinessMax, VP Rewards.

4. Filed an electronic complaint against Vistaprint and partners them with the FCC Federal Communications Commission online http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

5. complaint submitted www.fraud.org

6. Contacted and inform the SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION Washington, D.C. 20549 and made an online complaint. You may obtain information on the operation of the Public Reference Room by calling the Securities and Exchange Commission at 1-800-SEC-0330. The Securities and Exchange Commission also maintains an Internet website that contains reports, proxy statements and other information about issuers, like us, that file electronically with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The address of that site is www.sec.gov.

7. Filed a complaint with the Illinois BBB where Vistaprint affiliate companies are located https://chicago.app.bbb.org/complaint/new/0

8. Disputed ALL charges on credit cards THEN Cancelled – TWO VISA cards / TWO Amexp – both personal and business. My husband who has also been billed for unauthorized is disputing his charges and may be canceling all of his cards as well.

9. submitted complaint through econsumer.gov complaint form Reference Number: [protected] www.econsumer.gov

FINALLY Vistaprint claims to have over 16 million customers worldwide... if they are doing this to all of them and many people aren't noticing... the revenue generated by these bogus memberships is unimaginable...

When discussing this with co-workers and friends I've already found FOUR of my friends and family that have had the same charges against their credit cards...

As of Thursday, December 04, 2008 I have found $733.08 worth of bogus charges from Vistaprint and their affiliates under Vertrue. I have requested credit card invoices from the credit cards they had/have on file from [protected] so I imagine I will uncover hundreds of dollars more.

I hope someone can help...

Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Vertrue, MasterCard, MyLife.com, Oak Investment, and Others Regarding Allegedly Fraudulent “Membership" Fees for Bogus "Savings Clubs"

Lawsuit claims that Defendants profit from charging consumers fraudulent fees for savings club “memberships”

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 13, 2014

Atlanta law firm Webb, Klase & Lemond, LLC has filed a class action lawsuit against Vertrue, Inc., Adaptive Marketing, LLC, Velo Holdings, MasterCard International, Inc., MyLife.com, Inc., and Oak Investment Partners. The suit states that Vertrue partners with MyLife.com and other deceptive online businesses to trick consumers into unknowingly joining Vertrue’s “consumer savings clubs.”

According to the lawsuit, most club “members” never make use of their savings club “memberships” and cancel their subscriptions immediately upon learning of the fraudulent charges. According to the lawsuit, MasterCard earns fees by processing Vertrue’s charges while knowing they are fraudulent and processing such plainly illegitimate charges violates MasterCard’s agreements.

The lawsuit further states that Vertrue’s parent company, Velo Holdings, and MyLife.com’s investor-owner Oak Investment Partners, which invested $25 million in MyLife in 2007, also participate in Vertrue’s improper practices. The case, Chi v. Vertrue, Inc., et al., was filed in the United States District Court of the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, on February 28, 2014 and has been given case number 1:14-cv-00614-TWT.

The lawsuit proposes a class action on behalf of all consumers nationally who have been harmed by these practices.

The new complaint alleges that Vertrue’s “savings clubs, ” administered by its subsidiaries such as Adaptive Marketing, LLC, include At Home Rewards, At Home Rewards+, BusinessMax, Cross Country Savings, DealMax, Home Savings Mall, Food and Flix, Getaway and Save, Leisure Exclusives, My Great Deals, Passport to Fun, Passport to Fun+, SavingsAce, SavingSmart, Shopping Essentials, Shopping Essentials+, Simply You, Today’s Escapes, Today’s Escapes+, ValueMax, and Your Savings Club.

The lawsuit states that when consumers purchase goods and services from MyLife.com and Vertrue’s other online partners they encounter confusing, obscured ads for Vertrue’s “savings clubs.” Consumers click through these ads without realizing that they have accidentally “joined” one of Vertrue’s clubs, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit also states that consumers who accidentally join Vertrue’s clubs are charged recurring monthly fees of $20 or more until they affirmatively cancel their “memberships.” Vertrue’s entire business model is based around this deceptive practice, and Vertrue’s co-conspirators, including MasterCard, knowingly facilitate and profit from Vertrue’s fraudulent activities. The lawsuit states that MasterCard approves such unauthorized charges, and profits from them, even though this violates MasterCard’s own rules regarding protection of private customer credit card data.

The suit asserts that the other Defendants are vital to the improper billing scheme. First, Vertrue transmits a consumer’s credit card data to the related credit card network, which the complaint alleges was MasterCard. MasterCard verifies the consumer’s identity and, the lawsuit states, analyzes the transaction to determine whether it is fraudulent. MasterCard transmits the relevant data to the cardholder’s issuing bank which, if it authorizes the charge, sends a verification message to MasterCard, which then informs the issuing bank that the charge has been authorized, according to the suit. The suit claims that the issuing bank then informs Vertrue of the authorization, at which point the purchase is completed and the issuing bank and MasterCard subsequently “clear” and “settle” all of Vertrue’s charges for that day, at which point the illicitly obtained funds are sent to Vertrue. The suit contends that all the Defendants are well aware of the illegal scheme, but they nonetheless participate in order to obtain substantial transaction fees.

Vertrue is a subsidiary of Velo Holdings, an investment group also named as a Defendant in the lawsuit, that acquired Vertrue in 2007. According to the lawsuit, Velo and Oak Investment, MyLife.com’s senior investor-owner, were fully aware that Vertrue’s business model relied on consumer fraud when they acquired their positions in these online companies. The suit asserts that these investors nevertheless controlled, participated in, and profited from Vertrue and MyLife for years while doing nothing to curb the companies’ highly illegal business practices.

If you have unknowingly joined one of Vertrue’s savings clubs and wish to discuss this action, or if you have any questions concerning this press release, please contact Webb, Klase & Lemond by e-mail at contact@WebbLLC.com or by calling [protected]. Webb, Klase & Lemond, LLC is a law firm that practices complex litigation with a focus on litigation arising from wrongful deprivations by corporate and government entities.

VistaPrint unauthorized billing

My son and I own battle ground printing we had a customer come into our shop and claim we had given him free business cards but we had also started taking out of his bank account $14.95 a month for some membership. I advised him we have no free business card program and would not take money form his bank without his signature. He presented a business card to me said he ordered it on line from battle ground printing and advised him he can request a price quote but to purchase a card he would need to come in to place the order.

I turn his free business card over and on the back it read clearly vista print. I went then to the web and sure enough there where now two battle ground printings listed however on the top one the link was for vistaprint.com the next was ours. But with in weeks we had a total of five customers with the same complaint. I contacted google and talked with their personal and was advised that since battle ground is a city and print is a type of service what vista was doing was legal.

So I did a little digging and found that my company was not the only one they do this too. I made contact with vista print the phone number listed goes off island ask for phone numbers to the main operation since I was not being ripped off for $14.00 I guess they gave them to me and I called. They stated they did not understand how this could have happened they want their customers doing business with them directly bla bla. Much to my surprise I found that the state of washington print service has a web page as well which has now been duplicated by vista print and I hope the state atty. Goes after them with everything they can.

The owner of vista print has been hailed in my industry as a good guy who makes over $300, 000. 00 a year as wages and now I can see why. It's a good thing that i, (born in montana), and this montana business man don't meet up because where I come from things are most often settled like men and thats man to man. Vista print you are the # of the earth and you have used my good name to rip people off. I hope that you not only go out of business but that all your upper end management end up behind bars reading fine print and disclaimers for life.

They posted a unauthorised charge to my bank for something, I don`t have a clue what? On the site you can not reach a person, only a machine in customer service. They tell you to press a number and it just repeats it`s self! Don`t wver make the mistake of buying from them!

VistaPrint false advertising

I ordered some stuff and after my order was complete, it said I had 10 minutes to order free pens, so I ordered 15 more "free" pens, assuming it was a $33 value as stated below the pen icon in the "free pens" box, and once I clicked on the box it processed my order and added $33 to my bill. There was no online help forum and the 1-800 number didn't help because it was automated and a sunday, so no luck speaking to anyone. After reviewing a help forum with topics such as "are free products really free?" the answer was "yes, you only pay for shipping and processing (which is 90% of vista's product charges), so this was definitely a scam, and i'm out an extra $33 because of it.

VistaPrint unauthorized billing

Beware of extra $14.95 a month charges for life until canceled. Don't think you are just buying cards, shirts, letterhead, etc because when you agree to the terms and conditions you will be enrolled to a 'passport of fun' and or rewards program costing $14.95 per month. Read all of the terms and conditions because one would thing you are agreeing to terms and conditions for the printed materials ordered. Vistaprint will continue to charge your credit card for life until you cancel this nonsensical service. No idea what I had for $14.95 a month or $74.75 because they did not even give me a password, user name or website to log onto. Absolute scam and unfair way of making extra money after the sale. They billed two different credit cards I had for several months.

Vistaprint has robbed my bank account for 3 X $71.28 + 3 X international transaction fees. These showed on my Vistaprint account momentarily but have since been removed. However, the amounts have still come out of my bank. Vistaprint say to give them a few days to look into it. Had to email them a screenshot of my bank transactions a few days ago. Also gave them bank phone and information they would require to check for themselves. The bank advises to try sort it out with VP before taking further action. Beginning to look like further action might be required.

I had done business with Vistaprint for 8-9 months, and hadn't had any real problems. Then I went to check a shipment on their website and found that they claimed it was delivered a year before I even ordered it. Called the phone number for customer service. Got a woman that barely spoke english who couldn't explain why there was a problem, nor what vistaprint would do to correct it. Called again, and again got someone who struggled with english as their language. Went to the online chat, not much better, wrote an email and had 4 exchanges, they gave me wrong delivery dates and failed to resolve the problem. I AM DONE WITH VISTAPRINT. Won't ever buy from them again. I asked that someone at Vistaprint call me to discuss the problem. That was Friday, today is Tuesday and no call. So if you do business with them, you better hope there is never a problem. You won't get any help.

When I got my Mastercard statement of 12/09/08, I was billed another charge of $14.95. I have not placed another order and do not owe this.

I ordered some banners etc.to be displayed on an yearly religious commemoration ceremoney where hundreds of people were invited in a local hall. Vistaprint cancelled my order without informing me and a day before the program when I asked the company about the delivery, they told me that it is cancelled because of MY email sent to them. I asked them to read it again, then they apologized. My program is ruined and the only thing they have is an apology and a hang up. This was second incident. Vistaprint has no backup or disaster plan. An online risk only CUSTOMER has to take.

Vistaprint should be slung up and left to dry! they make the consumer look like they're the one in the wrong, isn't that just the psychology of criminals..? they printed a promotion t-shirt, the print was in the wrong place, was smudged all over, and so thin it wouldn't last a wash. I complained, they asked for me to send them digital photos as they 'don't have a disposal policy', no [censored] sherlock! they don't have a policy, period! this is a 'company' who thrive on lies, with no care for the consumer, buyer beware!.. I have not yet had my reply acknowledged to date.

VistaPrint no freebies after all

It’s funny because I don’t normally check my monthly bank statement. Yesterday, I was paying bills online and that I happen to look at my bank statement online. I notice there is a charge of $14.95 vista prints for nov. 14 then check the oct 14 there it is again $14.95 vista prints, then again. Vista prints had been taking $14.95 every month on my account for a purchased that I did with them over 6 months ago (supposed be free cards). So, I called my bank to put stop on the charges. There are now investigating the charges and hoping to get the charges back to my account.

VistaPrint charged for a service I was not notified of and didn't want after I had asked for it to be cancelled

I ordered the free business cards from vista print on a credit card. I did not object to the processing fees. However, they automatically enrolled me in vista print rewards and charged me 17.95 a month, without my knowledge or consent. I did not see this listed anywhere on the site or in any paperwork I received with the cards, and I did check. I did not discover these charges until about a year later. At that time, I called and asked for my account to be cancelled. They charged me again the following month. I will not order cards from them again or use any of their services and I strongly advise others to go to their local print shop instead.

I was also enrolled, without my knowledge, into the VIsta Rewards Program back in April of 2009, after ordering from Vista. Shame on me for not noticing it until just this month. After research, I realize that I have been charged a total of $590 over the past 2.5 years. Irate is not even the word for how I felt. I got on the phone and escalated the call to a supervisor (not easy) and let her know how mad I was. I told her that I knew full well I had been scammed and had a fit on her. In the end, she told me I would be credited every penny since 4/09 and it would be done in the next 3 days. She gave me a confirmation number for the credit. I will be checking to make sure it goes through and will check back into this comment page if it does not. If you push hard enough, they will do what you ask. SCAM ARTISTS for sure.

Same here. This afternoon my husband called me and asked what VP Club Us is on our account and why they took out 20.99 today. I had no clue so we looked up the phone number and it was Vista Print rewards. Then I see the page of scams and thought no way.. So I called and cancelled my account and was told I have been signed up since 8/07. I spoke with a rep and received her ID number and told her that I wanted the money put back in the account and that I know it is a scam. She told me that she would credit this months back. I told her that I noticed on the voicemail that I had been a member since 8/07 and had never signed up for this and if charges had been taken out every month. She said yes. I SAID WHAT THE HELL! I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK NOW! So she said that I would be credited back and gave me the numbers of the money that had been taken out over the years. it started out at $14 and the next year was $17 and this year it is $20. After I added it all up it is almost $500 yes you have that right $500 taken out of my account. Just enough each month to not be suspicious. This should be back to our account by Thur if not I will call back and threaten with a law suit. BEWARE!

I too was ripped off from them. I could not figure out the charge on my statement and here it was VistaPrint Rewards. I canceled, so we shall see. It's a shame, I really liked Vista Print.

I was on vistaprint and I almost signed up for that rewards program, I guess its a good thing I read the information before I signed up for that $10.00 cash back. I am not condoning the program because I really don't like the practice but a lot of people do not read when they are online shopping or when they see free money so it is easy to be caught by these things. My friend singed on to it and he got his money back within about 7 days. I think vistaprint is overall a good company I will continue using them I will just read the information before selecting anything.

I had the same thing happen to me, difference is I was charged a $14.99 amount a month for 5 months. Just enough for them to make money and small enough not to catch it for a while. I called the number on my bank statement and demanded they cancel "my membership" and refund all of it to my card. They put me on hold, indefinitely. So I called my bank and had them reverse the charges. I also emailed Vista Print and let them know I did not appreciate this and would be taking my business elsewhere.
I called the number they gave me and again got this rewards center. This time they refunded my money.
Seems that the number Vista handed out and the one on my bank statement were 2 different depts. One that is meant to leave you hanging in phone cyber space and one that is supposed to refund money because you are making too much noise!
Please, if someone knows a good, affordable alternative to VP, email me and let me know. I dont want to give Vista another dime of my money!

I just realized I was also bamboozled. I am so mad. We have been charged for 15 mos and I never noticed because my husband pays our credit card online and we have paperless account. OH NO.
I plan on calling vista tomorrow but I am really concerned that none of our money will be refunded for this program that I never used and didnt even know I was signed up for.
I hate vista now and will never use them again. I want to cancel my acct. altogether with them so they dont have my credit card info but of course I cant find any info on how to do that either.

Yes, the same just happened to me this week. I did not order anythingexcept I ordered business cards about three months or more ago. Now they debited my credit card for $14.95. I agree this is a scam. I called the [protected] and did not get ahold of anybody!
I will go to my bank and file a complaint and they will file a dispute and I feel that Vista will probably want to c0-operate as I will also file with the Better Better Business Bureau! This is totaly inappropiate and disgusting! You do not dare do anything over the internet, I am finding! Such a shame that they feel they have to stoop that low to rip off the public! Yes, I will not do business with them again either on the net or store!

In the same boat as above. Have to "swim" like crazy in a tank of pirhannas to try and get any money back. Ought to be a law against this kind of shananigans. One thing when you can read about results of accepting free offers that they sign you up, but in this case it was well camoflauged.

Yes, the same thing just happened to us. My wife ordered some new business cards from them on March 22nd and today we found a charge from them on our account for Vista Print Rewards which we never signed up for or wanted. Supposedly they have cancelled the account for us and they say we will get our $14.95 back in the next 2 or 3 days. We'll see.

VistaPrint beware

Vistaprint.com is tricking consumers into their reward program. They offer cheap printing services. However, once you order, you are enrolled into a reward program with a monthly fee of 14 usd! You will get an e-mail about the membership, but it is confusing and misleading. There is no explanation as to how much you will be charged or how long does you membership lasts. There are a lot of consumers who paid many months of fees before noticing it. How much are they able to charge this way?

VistaPrint I will never use them again

Vistaprint.com the world's largest online business card company.

Great printer but aggressive, bordering on fraudulent marketers. As I was trying to checkout of an order, different dialogue boxes kept popping up with add's offers. I closed them all, but apparently, without my knowledge I signed up for another business (run by vistaprint) to get coupons. My credit card was charged $14.95 per month for 4 months before I noticed. I had to call two companies to get the membership stopped and had to also close my credit card account. Thanks, vista print! I will never use you again!

VistaPrint domain name stolen

I ordered business cards through vistaprint and signed up for the free 30 day trial for their website. I pulled up the page to try it and typed in the domain name I was going to register with go daddy and had not gotten to do it yet. So I put it on my page I was trying to create. The site said congratulations, your domain is registered. Looking at the page, I decided I did not like it-it was too generic for my business. I called vista print to cancel the website. They said ok, but the domain name is theirs. Ithis was only an hour since I set it up. I said no its not, I paid for an llc under that name it belongs to me. You are stealing. After talking to 3 supervisors I have gotten no where.

Help anyone! What can I do? They've stolen my business name!

Ignore my other comment for the moment. I found out there is a 60 day wait period on domain transfers for new domains and in my case it has been 60 days for the last few hours so I will wait 1 day and try again. This is my first domain transfer and it is very confusing but the tech support at godaddy.com is amazing and has helped me understand how it works. Vista print has everything but the admin email in their name and I had to go in and change the admin email through a third party link sent from vista print. Vista Print tech support is practically worthless regardless of the outcome. I will update the situation tomorrow.

The same exact thing has happened to me. I own Christ Charms LLC and Christcharms.com a religious goods store. I wanted to switch to go daddy because i can publish from adobe muse to go daddy and could not on vista print. I made it incredibly clear that the domain stays in my name i just wanted to host on go daddy. They changed the contact information so its not in my name and now it might be delayed 60 days because the information has changed. This is incredibly irritating because i put countless hours into designing a new website and I had an arrangement with a local church and multiple charities to help the community. Vista Print has robbed the Community of Lansing MI, and has taken away my credibility with the catholic church because now all the hours and time I put into building something great for the community was stolen from me. Please let me know what happens with your situation.

VistaPrint unauthorized charge!

Did not even know vistaprint existed when I saw a charge from them on my debit account. They sent me business cards I did not order that simply included my name, address, phone number, and an email address that was obviously made up. I called them to called resolution. They told me to have my bank fax proof that I had been charge — which they did. Nothing happened after that.

I filed a complaint with bbb in massachusetts. They simply let vista know it had been filed. Vista responded that they tried to resolve, but problem was between me and my bank. Bbb basically closed case without additional follow-up or response from me about vista's response to complaint.

VistaPrint ripping people off!

If you have ever ordered from vistaprint.com, check your statements, they are ripping people off! I ordered business cards and they have been charging me for the past 3 months for a service I never requested. They gave my credit card information to business max. When I called them, they said that I clicked on a popup, and that vista print authorized that charge. This is not true since I have a popup blocker. Please send this e-mail to all of your friends. Companies like this do not deserve good customers. I just opened a complaint to the bbb. Some complaints are as old as 5 years ago and some as new as today. Apparently, vistaprint does not learn, they just keep changing their name on the credit card charge.

Let's all fight back and cripple this company by sending this e-mail to as many people as you know. I am very upset because they have no right to do this, and apparently they are not stopping. All you have to do is type in google, vistaprint ripoff and you will see so many complaints and no one is stopping them. Whatever happened to the federal companies that are supposed to stop this and protect the consumers? I will certainly never purchase from them again.

Online printing causes numerous hassles

With more than 260 complaints filed with the bbb, vista print usa, inc. Of lexington, mass is one of the bbb top ten most complained about companies. Vista print provides design and print services over the internet, which might sound convenient (as their website claims), but 260 consumers report otherwise. Many complaints allege that the company shipped inaccurate and incorrect items to consumers.

Though the company website states that the average wait on their toll free line is thirty seconds, dozens of consumers reported significant troubles reaching customer service. The bbb also received reports that vista print placed unauthorized charges on consumer's credit cards. Vista print usa, inc. Has an unsatisfactory report with the bbb for no response to complaints and a pattern of complaints.

Please send to at least 10 people, or all of your friends and family.

Thanks!

I placed some orders to Vista print, and their price and quality of products are so good. However, whenever you process to place orders, they kind of push to click " Another 10% discount for next order"

who doesn't want Another 10% discount?
So I click it, this is a huge trap. I found something weird charge, which I never heard of company name: MVQ.

Thus, contact them, and canceled account as well as asked for full refund.

They said, " within 1-2 days, all money will be credited to my bank.

My question is why are they doing this? even they refund all money and keep losing business. I never have any business with Vista print as well as tell everyone I know online and offline.

If they refund full, I will report to Better Business Bureau.

Vistaprint.com (Free Business Cards)

Beware of this company that advertises FREE business cards. If you click on certain links that entice you, you may end up with unauthorized charges on your credit card or automatic withdrawals from your checking account.

They automatically enroll you in something called VPrewards club. Charges can appear from a variety of names monthly.

After many successful transactions, I guess I finally clicked on a link, being curious as to what it was about. But I never knowingly joined anything and never authorized them to start charging my credit card for anything.

There are hundreds of complaints about them doing this from the UK to the US.

After they sent me a notice that they would be billing me for this charge, I went searching on the web about them and realized my only sensible recourse was to cancel that credit card so I wouldn't be douped. This may be the wisest solution since you can't know what name they are going to be using to bill you under.

I placed an order for 100 business cards for my new upstart on 27/01/15 with its opening event on 13/2/16. I was told order processing though I did not receive a debit. I have kept funds in my account for when ever they debit as some companies debit after they have delivered.
Vista print did not produce my cards neither did they contact me to say the payment was declined. I called back today to find out the status only to be told the crap. Why didn't they contact me via mail? Yet they send me all sorts of adverts. Now I have no cards at all for my opening. I am super angry and disappointed. I should have know better. Vista print is definitely not the best. definitely not.
I need a new overnight printer asap. Help anyone.

I ordered once to Vistaprint and all went well, but when you're looking for something a little bit different and customized (exclusive), they don't have many choices at Vistaprint. A company that i can recommend for you is JMwebs, http://www.jmwebs.net/, I use to work with them actually. The most important difference is the fact that they're designers and they customize everything. The quality of their products is really better than others and moreover, you can ask what you want, they'll always propose you something.
About the price, you'll see that there's no pretty much difference, for some orders, prices are the same. It depends on the quality that you wish to put in your products. Good Luck.

Avoid VistaPrint for any services. I ordered business cards and an address stamp. They mailed me two stamps, both missing the street address line. I caontacted their customer service and got a responsive email that said they were not responsible for typographic errors. I shot them back an email explaining that they had left the third line off both stamps. Their customer serivce sent me back the same form email that they had sent earlier. I sent a third request, and still got back the same Email. Their web site indicated 100% guarantee for product service. DON'T BELIEVE IT. They will not honor anything. They will bill you twice and when I told them of the problem a 4th time, they said they would give me a 5% discount off my next order? I THINK NOT. They will not get ANY of my business and I urge all others to stop using this corrupt company.

Vistaprints charged my account for a website that I canceled. In doing this I was unware of this an continued to use my debit card for purchases. When I went to balance my account, I found it was overdrawn. You would not believe this. Vistaprints claims they are not responsible because the charges did not take place the next day after their posted. It happend 2 days later. Because of this, my account has been charged $350.00 with 5 more pending transactions. And the Supervisor Carla Daley, hung up on me when I questions her " How could I correct a problem if I did not know it happened?" And you dont feel your company is responsible because it did not happen the next day.

VistaPrint weird add-on charges

Invites arrived wrinkled from poor shipment and no protection from damage. Just a plain bubble envelope.
Ink streaks in my invitations.
Blank sheet of paper, supposed to be an invite, I was charged for.

Weird add-on charges. Like charging 5 bucks for color. Of course I want color invitations — I clicked on a color picture...
Silly and sneaky.
I would not shop here ever again.
