Volta wireless claims to provide totally secure phone service that cannot be tracked or traced. I have had Volta Wireless for 2 full months (and they just billed me for a 3rd month). During those 2 months I have contacted their support team (only via text and email -- no way to actually talk to a person -- and often it was days before I got a response) about the fact that I constantly miss calls. They just don't come through on either my ported over phone number or their Volta private number. My phone does not ring -- I just get a notification (sometimes days later) about missed calls. At times I have been unable to place calls. Per tech support instructions I reinstalled their app at least 5 times and nothing changed. After 2 months of missing important calls and not being able to place calls on occasion I decided to return to my previous carrier. When I contacted Volta for info about cancelling and requested a partial refund since the service had never reliably worked, I was told that they do not offer refunds under any circumstance. It appears that their user agreement means you pay no matter what and they have no obligation to provide a reliable service. Avoid Volta at all costs. They are not an ethical business and don't care about ensuring their customers actually have phone service.
Desired outcome: A partial refund to acknowledge that for at least half of the time I paid for, I had no phone service.
