VW Hatfield Braamfontein review: Purchased vehicle with faulty brakes

I purchased a 2019 polo vivo 1.6 from the above company - test drove the vehicle and found that the brakes were making a huge noise - complained about this and was told the polo vivo makes the noise when water gets into it - but that was not the case as my car went in for the first service around september 2021 and I was told my brake pads needed to be changed - I told the technician that before I purchased the car I advised that the brakes were making a huge noise - and I was told it was water that causes it - he called me a little later and advised that the brake pads are fine and that it was dust - received the vehicle without the brake pads being replaced - the noise continued ang got worse so I decided to take my car in for the second service earlier august 2022 and the technician said that the brake pads are completely worn out and it needs replacement - so I told him the same thing that it was always making noise and that I did complain but nothing was done he advised the cost which was ludicrous - called the manager and he advised that all polo vivo's bought new, makes that noise but this was used and had 35400 on the clock - so something was not right, that disclosure was not noted on the contract - I took the vehicle to a reputed centre where I was told the disc was completely worn out - had to replace brake pads and the disc which was not mentioned by vw

False advertising and not disclosing important information - really disappointed - I have owned 4 vw and never had such shoddy treatment
