I had a bad experience with Weaver Gas. We were a customer with Weaver Gas for over ten years. On my way to work one morning I had contacted the Weaver Gas Company to inform them that my tank is running low and I would like to schedule a delivery. I was told that I am not scheduled for a delivery at this time and the person I was speaking to became rude, she told me not to interrupt her when I asked for her name, argumentative and belligerent. At this point I asked to speak to the manager and for his telephone number for which I was told, there is no one here and she hang up the phone. Since my wife was with me at the time, I asked her to dial Weaver Gas and speak with them. She did and the next person she spoke to was more insulting, my wife informed her that an elderly person was at the home during the week and we have to maintain heat. Debbie informed my wife that this is not her concern. On April 23rd I sent a fax to Weaver Gas notifying then that I will no longer need their service and that they should come and pick up their gas tank, I also requested that Weaver Gas provide me with a refund for 25% of the unused gas that was left in their tank. I have yet to receive my refund, however, instead I received a notice that they are charging me late charges of $16.49 on a bill that was paid more than a month ago. Weaver invoices does not indicate late charges and I have no agreement with Weaver Gas for such.
we had a problem with them too, the same girl i believe infact i was told its not my problem, they invoiced us back to a time that we werent even living in the house. we still are having problems and are trying to get it resolved
DEAR COMPLAINTS BOARD, WHEN I TRIED TO REVIEW COMPLAINTS ABOUT WEAVER GAS, MY COMPUTER SAID POTENTIAL VIRUS. PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT YOU HAVE FIXED THIS PROBLEM
I just had a problem with Weaver Gas, ever since Mr. Stillwaggon sold it to Jet Gas, the customer service is non existent. They do not care about their customers just our Money. They are over priced and charge you for every little thing. Today They came to retrieve their tank and took the regulator instead of taking the brand new one my new company left for them and this left me with out propane. And they really could care less about it. So they now will lose everyone I know that uses them also. Maybe they will get the hint when they are going out of business for not caring about the customer that pays their bills. They also are very, very overpriced.
Very disappointed with Weaver. Two months ago I canceled an account with them--at the time I had two full tanks. They said it would take 6 weeks for them to pay me back for the gas. It has taken much more than that and they assure me they can't hurry it up. The "system" and the "computer" will determine when I'm paid, not their assurances it seems.
It is important to tell everybody how terrible Weaver Gas is now (ever since it was sold to Jet Gas). It is NOT the same company of old, despite how they announce wherever and whenever they can that they have been a family business "since 1928". They are liars and rude ones at that.
Just switch! That's what I did.
I had similar problems with Weaver Gas. I too was a loyal customer for many years and when I was selling my house they said they would have someone out to read the gauge on the day of closing. When I followed up they not only did not send anyone, but said they did not
know when they would send someone. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told there was no none. Meanwhile I was paying for the new owners heat! It turns out they did read the meter before they told me they did not no when they would read it . .and they had no clue. I found out from the people who purchased my house. Fast forward to two months later and I called to follow up on the credit and once again I was told they had no idea when I would get my $366.00 refund check. And again there was no one who could help me and no owner or manager at all to assist me. The women even laughed when I asked to speak with a manager. Her only solution was to send
an email, which looking at the web site appears it would be going to the very people who claim they cannot help me. . ..I just want my money back and I want people to know they should not use Weaver. Years ago I recommended them to everyone . ...never again.
