I checked my credit report today (02/01/2011) and I saw a FALSE unpaid debt from the West Bay Co. for $172.00. I have NOT bought merchandise or received services from this company. I check my credit report every year and have never seen this "UNPAID" debt before, but they claim the debt has been owed since 2007? After mysteriously appearing on my credit report in 2011. This is a scam and I want this false information removed from my credit report. IT IS FRAUD!
i too just check my credit report and was suprised to see a $52 collection in my transunion report. i have no knowledge of this account and am currently in the process of disputing the account. this fraudulent collection agency is causing alot of stress on my life right now due to the fact i am trying to close a deal on a house and my rating just dropped about 60 pts

I received a bill from West Bay Acquisitions, LLC in Cranston, RI. I have not purchased anything from them or received anything. Statement said I pened the account 2/1/2006. This is a scam. I want this removed from my credit report A.S.A.P
I received a bill from them today for $116.30 for Columbia House. I have never enrolled in Columbia House nor received anything from them. Such a scam, now this crap is on my credit report.
i have received a bill today for 129.80 i have not ordered anything for Columbia House. I have not received a bill for anything from them and i think that your are ripping people off. This is a scam and i don't know how you're getting away with it you SOB'S!
i received a bill from this west bay acquisition today 6/23/12. it says account since 2007 with stream energy. i never had an accoount with stream energy. this wesy bay's 1800 number is not even working!scam scam scam...whoever is behind this should be put away in prison...
I received a collection letter on 11/5/12 stating I owed Hollywood Video 11.96 from 2009. I have never recieved any notice to collect in these last 3-4 years. I tried to call West Bay and the phone numbers are non-working. I smell a scam! I do not owe this money and when I went to West Bay's site- it says you can't pay online- only by phone or mail- and since the ph# is a fake number- they expect you to just send money into these scam artists. DON'T DO IT!
