Entire process was fraught with unprofessional behavior. Have emails to attest. Ultimately was presented with a beautiful but ill kitten. Kitten was sick within hours of bringing it home. Took it to vet because of diarrhea and vomiting that began three hours after kitten arrived. Vet noted the rapidly declining health, bloody stools. While at vet office, kitten vomited a piece of plastic about the size of a quarter. Returned kitten to cattery same day. Cattery turned around to offer sick kitten for sale again next day! Vet was adamant kitten showed signs of neglect.

My boyfriend and I decided last minute to get a new Maine Coon for our anniversary and, by some miracle, this place had two available! So, we drove 9 hours there, picked up the cat, and drove 9 hours back! The cat we ultimately chose was a 4-month old. On the ride home, he was so snuggly and calm, we thought we got lucky with a "good" kitten! When we took him to the vet that week, we found out he was actually sick, not quiet! We spent HUNDREDS on vet bills to get him back to proper health. He had worms, a double bacterial infection in his ears, and an upper respiratory infection. Luckily, we had already fallen in love with him, and he has brought us a lot of joy since then, which is the only reason that this is not a 1-star review. Still, this should not have happened. Our vet kept asking us about the shelter we picked him up at! A cat bought for over a thousand dollars from a breeder should NOT have all of these problems! In retrospect, we sometimes wonder if she knew he was sick and that is why she had a 4-month-old Maine Coon available on short notice...

We will never go to this place again and, honestly, I do not recommend it to anyone else.

I have never placed a sickly kitten and not taken responsibility for a kitten that has become ill after the kitten has been adopted.

I have a clause in my contracts now stating that all of my clients are required to inform me if a kitten falls ill they are required to communicate with me to allow me the opportunity to advise them and assist with the situation and care. I was no made aware of this kittens condition only until the kittens health was very compromised!

Ms. Allen, your comment is filled with mistruths. the day after I picked the kitten up from your cattery, I sent you a pic of the kittens eyes which was matted and closed shut. your response was " I forgot to tell you about this. I have medicine for him". you and i spoke and txt each day (i have every one of them) after I got the kitten bc from day 1 he was very ill and finally the poor baby died in 2 week after being seen by the vet here at least 4 times. after his death, I had a necropsy done on his remains and the vet estimated his age at time of death was 6 weeks old (see pic), which means you let me take him at 4 weeks old. I contacted your vet in Chicago and got his medical file from you taking him in for an exam. the files states that YOUR vet had to bath him before his exam because he was covered in soft stool. you're vet also recorded that the kitten was skinny and had a body templ. 97.1 which means he had already started to decline. you knew all of these things prior to taking my money and allowing me to drive 5 hours from St. Louis, Mo to Chicago il. Ms. Allen, you practice deceit in your business, and your lie about your care for these kittens. I have been in contact with at least 4 of your prior customers that you sold sick and dying kitten. I have also spoken to 2 of your satellite breeders that explained you care absolutely nothing about your kittens and are only interested in the money. one satellite breeder stated that you come and get the kittens from her house and the kittens are barely 5 weeks old. if anyone wood like to discuss my experience with these people, please contact me. my email is ktyxes1@att.net. also, the Allen's have been involved in other unlawful activities other than their cattery. of course I can't mention them here, but I will be more than happy to brief you on them and provide

proof.

We bought 2 maine coon cats from Wild Onion last year. We followed all procedures: doctor visits, vitamins, appropriate food, unbelievable attention (we are retired), but one of the cats died within 3 months of receipt. We had our cat vet conduct an autopsy, but she could not determine the cause of death. The surviving cat sustained treatment for worms that lasted several months and is healthy now. But, obviously, something appears to be wrong with some of their animals that is not being addressed. I cannot recommend this cattery to anyone.

This breeder was working with a breeder in Michigan as well Wildchild Cattery. We wanted 2 kittens and she only had 1 but said she would get one from Michigan. My baby from Michigan breeder was sick his whole life and just last week at 6 years old he was put down due to PKD & HCM. Hereditary diseases. Just want all to know. The cat I received from Wild Onion is healthy and beautiful however I know for a fact it was her “first” personal breeding of her own cats in 2016.

I have never placed a sickly kitten and not taken responsibility for a kitten that has become ill after the kitten had been adopted.

I have a clause in my contracts now stating that all of my clients are required to inform me if a kitten falls ill after going home.

I am very clear and encourage all of my adoptive clients to communicate with me if there are any health issues once a kitten is in an adoptive home, to allow me the opportunity to advise them and assist with the situation and care. I

was not made aware of this kittens condition, only until the kittens health was so very compromised in his health condition and unfortunately he had deteriorated to the point the veterinarian could not save his life. This client was negligent and did not take the kitten in the vet in time! I was in constant contact and communication, pleading for her to take him into the vet for life saving care, and support.

I called her veterinarian and gave them my credit card to pay for medical costs.

The vet called me and informed me that the kitten was too frail and passed.

I offered to replace the kitten or refund the clients investment . Ms. brown refused my offers and I tried to resolve the sad situation if she was signed NDA. Ms. Brown rejected my offers, those were my terms, she refused... Ms brown told me she would not sign no "Gag Order" in her words.

I had to walk away from the situation as i found Ms. Brown unwilling to come to a resolution.

Ms. Allen did not offer me a refund, only a replacement kitten. after the ordeal with the sick and dying kitten, I was advised not to accept another kitten from her cattery. she absolutely refused to refund my loss. I paid her 2,070.00 for a sick kitten. plus money for a necropsy after the kitten passed.

this is a correction of my last statement. Mr. Allen (not Ms. Allen) did offer a refund but only if I signed a non-disparagement agreeing to not discuss or publish any parts of my purchase of the kitten or about their cattery. I agreed to sign it but when I received the document I had my attorney review it. He told me the document not only prohibited me from releasing information concerning WOMC Cattery, but it also included my daughter who legally could not be included in this agreement because she didn't sign a contract and she wasn't a buyer. when I told him I would not be responsible for what my daughter posted or released, and he couldn't legally bind her to this agreement, he withdrew his offer to refund my money. Copies of this agreement will be released upon request.
