Why is there now only 19 cigarettes instead of 20 in a pack? I find it shocking that there has been no warning over this change, when i asked at the cigarette counter for a pack of 20 they sold me my usual brand of Windsor Blue Superkings but no mention over the difference so even the shop workers don't realise the difference. When i got home and looked closer at the packaging there was no indication on the fact that there were only 19 to a pack and not 20. Why the big secrecy? I feel cheated that i'm asking for 20, paying for 20 and only getting 19! However if you purchase a pack of 100 Windsor Blue Superkings there are still 20 per pack! The question of why i'm being miss-sold a product should be squarely laid at the feet of Imperial Tobacco, the company who produce Windsor Blue Superkings and many other brands. I want to know why they have not made it clear on the product packaging that they have changed the amount of cigarette's in a pack, why this has not been filtered down to the people on the shop floor and more importantly to the consumer customer. It's disgraceful to hoodwink their loyal customers in this way. I want answers! ...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have just purchased what I though was 100 Windsor Blue Superkings Smooth but in fact I only got 5 packs of 19 cigarettes. So in fact I only purchased 95 cigarettes but the price was still the same.
disgusted pensioner .bought 100 windsor blue superkings from asda .got home opened pack of 20 to find 19 other 4 packs appear to have only 19 per pack.wont be buying these again, its no wonder people turn to duty free imports.these packs should carry government warning YOU ARE BEING RIPPED OFF
It really is a effing rip off, You CLEARLY ask for 20 and get 19, I didnt even realise for a few weeks, I have probably been ripped off a couple of packets.
Asked for 200 windsor blue when i got home i'd been sold 190 --how long as this been going on for?
Just Done the Same - Tonight as a regular smoker, my pack is now 19- space in a twenty pack caught my attention and Not a bit of notice- although I thought I was ripped off it now says on the pack 19 - so the snide way this was done is [censored]e

Because we smoke we are somehow a fair target for this con. Wouldnt happen if it was pizza and there was a slice missing!
As from November 2015 it is even worse regarding Windsor Blue Superkings - Message to JPS: It was bad enough when you sneakily stole one cigarette per pack of "20", of course with no reduction in price. Only eighteen cigarettes in a packet of Windsor Blue Superkings yet paid for twenty disgusting we should all boycott these cigarette company's that rip us off and put the thieving buggers out of business. From a loyal smoker who is now thinking of giving up as I don't like being robbed, I may just change to a different cigarette where you get twenty in a packet
Totally agree... What a rip-off. Where are Trading Standards on this issue? Oh, , Government controlled so that answers that question.
But in any other retail business, if ask and pay for 20 items any only 18 delivered, courts could be involved to resolve and enforce repayment in full. Food for thought...
Absolutely disgusted at jps sneakily dropping Windsor Superking packs from 20 to 18 in a box on the quiet. Surely customers should have been advised of this. When I ask for 200 in Asda I expect to get 200. Well goodbye JPS your loss you crafty sods!
