I applied for the grant on the website www.womensnet.net. I got the response that I won and the female agent contacted me. She started to ask questions, but I couldn’t speak with her at that moment, so I asked if I could call her back, but she told “no”. After that male agent contacted me and started to ask different and strange questions. WTF? I refused to speak with him, and I wanted to ask other people to share their views about this company.
Hey Alexon,
Here at Womensnet.net our policy is to speak with our winners and ask them a few simple questions about their business. Examples of these are, "Tell us a little more about your business and what sparked your idea." or "What's the next step for your business?"
We then post those interview questions to our blog when announcing the winner of the month. The questions are never meant to be intrusive. They are only intended to give our community a better idea of who you are and what you do. You can see examples of those blogposts by going to our website, womensnet.net.
If you have any other questions feel free to contact us via email at womensnetnet@gmail.com
WomensNet has been in business since 1998. All of my interactions with them have been great, and I love how they support women-owned businesses.
I have supposedly won a 55k grant. I have to pay $200 up front for WomansNet to apply. Is this legit? Please let me know.
Had applied online and paid $15 fee but said they have not received my application because of website problem and will refund but not received any and need to reapply and pay another fee, so don’t know if it’s legit or not…
