On the days of November 30th and December 1st, I had Woods Basement Systems install support piers around the foundation of our home. In the process of doing the digging, the two employees of WBS destroyed the drain tile on both sides of the home. On August 1st, 2nd, & 3rd of 2022, we had about 7"of rain and I had 1/4" of water enter my finished lower level of our home. At the time of this downpour, we had lived in our home for 54 years without ever having a water problem. The drainage system that was installed when we built our home in 1967 had served us well. The first occurrence of water in the house was a huge mess, which I dealt with for two days. Then on September 3rd we had another 3"of rain within less than 3 hours. The rain started at 9:45PM and by 11PM we had 1.96" on my rain gauge. By 12:30 we had a total of 2.96". I started to vacuum water out of the lower level and emptied my 10Gallon Shopvac a total of 8 times and the water was coming in faster than I could get rid of it. I worked for 3 1/2 hours and at 1:30AM Sunday morning I could no longer do the work. I am 85 years old and felt like I could pass out. First thing Sunday morning, I called ServPro to come in and clean up the mess, as I was no longer able. They setup 6 fans and a dehumidifier and they all ran for an entire week. WBS said they would take care of the problem, but they have not shown any progress. I have been cordial with one of their main people and he has promised to do an emergency repair. I am at my wits end with a total unlivable lower level in our home. Can you help me in getting some results with this company?
