My teenager daughter worked for this company for about a week and has yet to be paid. They have been giving her the run around since May 20, 2009. They keep telling her in a couple of days. They are not willing to give out the # to human resources or the owners number. They also took copies of my daughters birth certificate for employment. They did not have have her fill out the tax form. I have gone to city hall and requested owner information and the only number that is on file is the one that goes directly to the empty building. I have filed a complaint with the labor board and the better business bureau. I really don't think that this is a good way to start off a business in our neighborhood.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
we are sorry for the delay regarding your daughters check situation...in our defense though we only recently were provided with the correct mail address (the employee application address was wrong)...workout world takes punctuality and accountability for scheduled shifts serious so we can ensure that our paying member gets top quality service every time they use the club..we will not compromise QUALITY SERVICE! WOW is sorry your daughter didnt work out within our system and a new check has been issued to the correct address...thanks for your comments
How is it that you are not paying your trainers for time that they are scheduled for? You are only paying them for sessions that they train, yet you want them to be there certain times and promote personal training packages and obtain clients. This is a legal matter! No one works for free
