Being a middle aged woman whose husband works a lot, and being home alone I thought that I would look for a small companion. I began to look for puppies on the internet and found www.littlelovespuppydogs.com Little Loves Puppy Dogs. I spoke with Sarah Jarells and she met me around the corner from her house in Spring Texas, and then had me to follow her.

When I arrived, the horrible smell from the feces and urine hit me all at once. Sarah had so many puppies everywhere in dirty laundry baskets and in wire cages. She claimed that the parents were housed at her sisters due to her being turned in to HOUSTON BARC by her neighbors. There was diarrhea in the places where the puppies were being kept and they looked just awful! I was so sad for them. She had carried in a cardboard box from her car that contained even more puppies.

She told me at one point that the mother to a puppy I was inquiring about was one that she had in her house. When she brought her out to me she looked as though she was about to pop she was so pregnant. She said that an 8 week old puppy was this dogs, and she also said that the same dog was due any day. I do not breed any animals, but this seemed impossible to me. Sarah had an answer for every question I asked, although throughout the visit the answers where never consistent. It seemed as though she changed the answers to my questions just to suite what I was asking. I never felt as though I got a truthful answer from her during the entire visit.

I felt very uncomfortable during the visit as she explained that even though she had one of her puppies on her website for 2400.00, she subsequently sold that puppy for only 750.00. I was also alarmed at how she had claimed to have teacup Chihuahuas and by the pictures on the website I thought they were tiny. When I saw them, they were at least 3 lbs and not even 10 weeks old.

I felt as though this was very deceiving, as the puppies on her website were just that, very young puppies and there were no new pictures that showed their up to date size and health status. I believe that she does this just to get people out to her home and pressure them into a sale of a much larger and more expensive puppy than what they were coming to see.

Towards the end of the visit she became very agitated and was trying to close the deal. She did not have the puppy she had described to me and I did not want to purchase a puppy than was living in less than sanitary conditions. I wanted a healthy puppy, and with the smelly diarrhea, they looked dehydrated and very sick. When she knew that I was not going to settle for a puppy, and wanted a puppy of my choosing, she became short and acted in a very strange and aggressive way. How was it my fault that she did not have what she had described to me?

When I started to ask more questions, she could not get me out of her home quick enough. I am led to believe from the puppies I saw that she is either a puppy mill or sells puppy mills. The puppies were not from the same litters and looked very different.

My hope is that someone will read this and know what they have in store for them with littlelovespuppydogs.com

Wow. You are really a lonely person. With a lotta free time, i might add. Anyone willing to write such an extended complain, has nothing else better to do.
Listen you. You should've gotten outta there, the second you walked inside that filthy house. People who keep their homes in suck a poor healthy condition are called hoarders. Do you know what does hoarders mean? If not, google it and ye shall find.
Gawd. What i waste of time. And i mean, my own time. Get a life.
Nex time you consider getting a pet, go to a pet store.

Kudos, Spring Reseller for bringing this to light. And harry_palm69's reply? Go to a pet store? Stupid is as stupid does.

I have purchased two chihuahuas from Sarah and all I can say about this complaint is this a blatant LIE! I purchased my first one from Sarah on November 18, 2009 and my second on March 3, 2010. And on both occasions her home was clean and whom ever posted these things about her... well I am guessing they have not stepped foot into her home. My chihuahuas are very healthy with no health issues.

Thank you Michelle T of Spring, TX

I believe it. I bought a "teacup" chihuahua from her that was charting full grown weight of 5lbs. My dog is now a healthy 27 lbs and stands nearly 2 feet tall. Attached a picture of him next to my full grown blue lacy. I was going to go through the process of a DNA test to prove he isnt even full blooded chihuahua (she gave me registered papers claiming just that). She is a fraud.

I purchased a puppy also from littleloves and have had nothing but health issues from the week I brought her home. The last year alone I have spent $5000+ on emergency visits and medication (liver support etc) for conditions 3 separate vets have told me are genetic and caused by inner breeding. Before purchasing my pup I was also told she was charted at 3lbs full grown and is now 7lbs. I Love my dog and would and have done everything I can for her, but for the next persons heart and wallet I have to say DO NOT purchase from here.. I've had nothing but heartache over my dogs health. (once again caused by being inbred)

We bought a dog from Sarah 1 and a half years ago. Turns out that she has 3 congenital birth defects. Fortunately, none of these conditions are her heart because she means to world to our entire family. However, she never grew adult teeth and only has a few puppy teeth left and she's not even 2 years old. Her tongue hangs out the side of her mouth all the time...(we actually love that). She has hypothyroidism which requires she take 2 pills daily for the rest of her life. Not to mention that she was hypoglycemic when she came to us and literally died in my hands because her blood sugar dropped 9%...she's a miracle because she fought back and I have no natural explanation, neither does the vet. Lastly, she was born without a pelvis...we have x-rays to prove it and a very confused vet to verify. He's never seen anything like it. Not to mention the thousands of dollars we have spent for ER visits and vet bills/medications. She has a countless list of health issues at any given time. We feel very fortunate that we have one of the miracles that made it out alive. DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THIS PUPPY MILL...DO NOT SUPPORT THIS POOR BREEDING.

Did I mention we were told that she was a tea cup chihuahua (long hair) and that she would max out at 3Ibs?...she's almost 10lbs and there is no way that she's not part Pomeranian. DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THIS POOR HUMAN.

Well, my story is pretty much dead on with the others. I too purchased a "teacup" chihuahua that should max out at 3 pounds and she's 9 1/2 pounds, average sized chihuahua. She has an apple head with a spot that has never closed and she's now 4. When she was 8 months old, she developed a limp on her rear left leg that continued to worsen. Needless to say, she had to have hip surgery at a whopping $3000.00. However, to her credit, her house was clean and not a shambles as I have read from others post, but I did purchase a teacup chihuahua (because that's what I wanted) for $750.00, no negotiating. I also was told the story of how she was selling these pups for her sister. Anyway, Gigi is the love of my life and has to have continuous care and faces upcoming surgery on her other hip. Sad thing is, I did research this individual before making the 50 mile hike to her home and nothing negative ever showed up at the time. Buyer beware, things aren't always as they seem. My little Gigi is posted below.
