I ordered some music in July 07. When I received my statement from my credit card they had charged me 6.99 towards the enc of July. I canceled the subscription the next bill in Aug 07 they charged again the 6.99. I contacted my credit card company advised them that these are charged I never agreed to and that I had canceled this in July07. The manager contacted them as well, they said okay we'll process the cancellation. Then when I received my September 07 bill, again they charged me. Obviously they don't understand the word cancel. Maybe everyone with a complaint should do something together to educate them. I am going to cancel again.

On 10/9/06 I placed an order with Yourmusic.com for 2 CDs (#YM002921395), a Vivaldi and a Telemann disc. On 11/10/06 this company then charged $12.98 on my debt card for the 2 CDs. A day later the Vivaldi CD arrived. However, I never received the Telemann disc. I complained to Yourmusic about this state of affairs by email through its complaint division on 11/15/06, and followed up with a second complaint on 11/21/06. I received an email notice from Yourmusic a day later after each complaint acknowledging receipt of my email and a prompt resolution of the problem. Empty promises! To this day (11/30/06), Yourmusic has never responded to nor acted upon my complaints. I still remain without the Telemann CD, despite the fact that Yourmusic charged me for it twenty days ago.

I had the Same problem with them. Made or order on the 12/2/2006 and its 1/2/2007 and still no response after 3 emails

I sent an order for 4 CDs with an expedited shipping charge of $5.99. They sent me an email telling me that 2 of the CDs (Madonna) is out of stock and will be sent later. It arrived later than the days alloted for the expedited shipping and i was charged again for $5.99! That charge should be waived because it was their fault and the CDs arrived late! They are conducting unlawful business practices and should be investigated.

My debit card bank statement reads:

CHECKCARD 04/05 YOURMUSIC.COM CS@YRMUS.COM IN $6.99

The unauthorized charge (my bank categorized it as fraud and sent me a new debit card) occurred on April 5, 2007. I have never done any kind of business nor contact (not even a visit to the site!) with YOURMUSIC.COM neither YRMUS.COM! They must have purchased my card data from some hackers? Now I found out that they are owned by BMG and Columbia House who sell CDs.

They gave me a run-around, never refunded the $5.99. I had to submit a charge back.

I, too have 5 unauthorized charges on card from YourMusic.com and have not been able to get in touch with them to get this matter of 5 credits returned back to my card. I contacted my bank today and they are starting an investigation and are not accepting any more charges from yourmusic.com

My statements reads : Dec2006-April2007 $6.47 per month. I purchased a cd from BMG in 2006 and pay for it the same that I ordered it fulfilling the obligation of my purchased which I was not obligated to purchase any thing else from them and now I' getting these un-authorizedand bogus charges to my card. It looks like to me maybe we need to file a Class Action against YourMusic.com CS@YRMUS@COM.

What do you guys think? Thanks for the information that they one and the same as BMG and Columbia House.They will continue to to use these unethical tactics on consumers till something is done that will hit them where it hurts because that is what they are doing to us the consumers.

I want the 40$ yourmusic.com took in unauthorized charges and will not return AFTER I asked to withdraw from the club. They claimed 1) my withdrawal was within one business day of music cue's date, 2) that I had two subscriptions (not true) and when I asked to withdraw from the club they only cancelled one (which was their fault) and that as a monthly service they could not credit my credit card for the money. In short, my experience with yourmusic.com was dominated by poor music selection, predatory billing, failure to cancel as I requested, lies and excuses to explain why they are keeping my money.

They are no better than thieves. The salient issues are business ethics and the law, not their excuses or business policies.

I was doing a survey (the first and last) and at the end I subscribed to YourMusic.com and have never been able to log on the the site not once. And for months now have been charged $6.99 and each time I try to use there (contact us) I get another message telling me that it's a link no longer in use or some BS like that. I have all but gotten a new computer to use the site to no avail. So if anyone has a mind to file a class act or anything to get the S.O.B"S to pay I'm all for it!

I have'nt bought any CDS in months and I've tried cancelling via the phone and internet.I still keep getting charged.I want to stop being billed and the credit card company is'nt helping.

I NEVER AUTHORIZED YOURMUSIC.COM TO CHARGE $7.58 FOR 3 MONTHS. I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY, BUT I HAVE A BOGUS TEL#I NEVER GOT THROUGH TO THE WEB SITE BUT THEY ARE DEDUCTING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT! Hello, i tried to go through the registration process, after submitting my credit card information, i got stuck on enable cookies page and did not finish the process. Checking my banking statements i noticed 3 unauthorized charges since august of $7.58 totaling $22.74. I took a survey a long time ago and have been on someone list. I put money in my account with Paypal to make an order of a Chiltons catalog and now I have a bill from this j*rks. I will dispute the bill but if anyone want to start a class action on YourMusic.com please count me in.

I have a 6.99 charge on my credit card and I haven' t ordered anything from you. I only visited your web site. you have billed me on oct.12,2007, if I ordered something and forgot it, why haven't I received it? AND WHY IS THERE NO TELEPHONE CONTACT SO I CAN CUSS SCREAM AND HOLLER AT YOU FOR RUNNING A CHEAP SCAM ON THE PUBLIC?

Ordered a subscription and was promised an ipod. I received 1 cd in November of 2006 and never recieved an ipod or another cd. My account has been debited every month for 6.99 and I have not received the promised merchandise. I have no phone number to call anyone . Can anyone help?

I purchased my first cd in November 2006 I received the cd which was not a good copy the sound was bad so I did not want anymore unable to contact anyone. I have been charged every month 6.99 and have not received anymore CDs. I called my bank and they cannot stop them because it is an ATM card. They are stealing my money and I cannot stop them. Does anybody know what to do?

If someone has been charging your account without you receiving anything, you need to look at you bank statement and get the company information to contact them and cancel, or go to the website and get their contact info.

I just signed up for this service, and while not promised an ipod, it is my understanding that the music you want is to be placed in a queue, and they will send you a cd every month. However, they will charge you the 6.99 even if nothing is in the queue. So maybe there is nothing in your queue.

I AM BEING BILLED FOR THINGS THAT I NEVER GOT OR SIGNED UP FOR. THIS IS THE THIRD COMPLAINT I HAVE PUT IN AND IF I DO NOT GET THE MONEY BACK FOR THIS I WILL BE GETTING MY ATTORNEY INVOLVED. THE REFUND OF THIS SHOULD BE ATLEAST $80.00. yOU HAAVE ONE WEEK TO GET THIS FIXED.

Did you sign up for the service? Did you choose the CDs you want? You really didn't say what the concern was, but I am sure there is someone at the company that will help you.

I'm trying to cancel this account; however, I can not locate a number for this company. If anyone has their number, please e-mail me at debi4school@aol.com.

I have learned a very expensive lesson. I will never again sign-up for anything giving out my account information for direct debt. If necessary, I'll close down the account to keep these bums from debting it every month!

Moved. Can't find any way to contact them. Still shipping CD's to old address and I have to pay forwarding costs. Couldn't cancel either because there's no way to contact them. The e mail address they use to send e mails to me doesn't work when I try to send them one. No phone # or address. Does anyone out there know how to contact them...

I am in total agreement that this is a big fat scam. I just found out that my NYState child support payment debit card (I receive my child suport via debit card) has been billed 9 times in the amount of $7.58 from YOURMUSIC.COM CS@YRMUS.COM. I went to their web site, and of course can't log in because I have never had an account with them. There is no phone # with which to contact them, but I did leave an e-mail with their customer service dept. I have since seen other postings where people have stated it takes 30 days or more for their customer ser. dept to contact you back. I would cancel my card, and order another, but then I will not receive my child support payments while I am waiting for this to happen. It could take several weeks. I am in a quandry. Does anyone have a # or another quick way to contact them. Another site gave a number, but when I called, they said they are BMG music, and IN NO WAY affilliated with Your music.com. HELP!

I purchased a gift subscription through YourMusic.com in December 2007. It is April 2008 and the recipient has yet to receive her first CD. She should be on her 4th already! YourMusic.com has stopped responding to e-mails and there is no phone number on their website to talk to anyone live. Any suggestions or similar experience? Thank you.

YOURMUSIC.COM Is billing me in the amount of $7.14 monthly
I do not use their service.They won't let me go to thier web site because I have cookies blocked for safety reasons.
Now that I heart hey are owned by Sony/ BMG.
I'm out raged!
I have spent lots of money buying cd's from Sony/BMG
Without ever being treated badly.If there's a mistake they credit your account as soon as your let them know you have benn charged unfaily.
So, What up with them owning YOURMUSIC.COM

And using that site to billed people for something they did not request

I have the exact same problem. A gift subscription was purchased for me in Dec 07 and I have not received any CDs as of July 2008. Attempts to sign in to my account result in the message "This account has been cancelled." I contacted them in March or April and got a canned response about "Sorry, system error, we're trying to fix and will get back to you asap." Nothing, no return email, account still closed, etc. I am pretty mad.

i was going to sign up for this membership, but after i entered my card information and hit submit to go to the next page, a pop up comes up saying access couldnt be allowed. so i had no way to go back and cancel. i have not purchased a cd or anything from this company and they charged me 6.99. i want my money back.

I am having the same problem. It looks like I am going to have to cancel the credit card to get a resolution to the problem. A lesson learned...don't use a service if they don't have a phone number listed for customer service.

Follow-up: I contacted my Discover Card customer service. They resolved the issue and credited several months of unauthorized payments back to my account. Everything worked out and I learned a valuable lesson.

RIPOFF! - This website is a ripoff they pull you in talking about cds for jus 6.99 with no shipping fee and you jus pay 6.99 a month and they will send you a cd of your choice every moth well went and filled out all the information and now cant geet back on the site! site talks about enable cookies and then the site will work thats a lie nothing was wrong with my cookies it's the site after doing research on this website this is a problerm that has been happening for a while now i have no way to cancel my account since there is no way to see the site and have no contact information. no one go here it's a scam!

I also have used yourmusic.com for several years without any significant cause for concern. About the worst problem that I have experienced is a broken jewel case from time to time. When that has happened, I have used the contact information that is available on the site to request replacement cases, which have always been provided to me, without any trouble at all.
