My $4000 warranty was voided as I didn't adhere to the prescribed maintenance plan
My $4000 warranty was voided because I didn't adhere to the prescribed maintenance plan. My car alerts me to change the oil, which I do on cue. They argued the timing was incorrect and that I needed to consult the dealer for their specific vehicle schedule, including more frequent oil changes than the manufacturer suggests, and attention to brakes, struts, etc. I've had my car inspected by professionals who found no issues. The contract from A-Protect states the warranty is null if you deviate from their service timeline, yet they fail to clarify this or provide details. A regrettable waste of funds.

I got this A-Protect Warranty Corporation thing since December
I got this A-Protect Warranty Corporation thing since December . I had a problem with my CAD cue screen, so I filed a claim. They asked me for proof of oil changes and a picture of the cue screen. They came back and said the screen got hit and they won't cover it. That's a total lie. The CUE screen has been a problem for Cadillac with the same issue. I also tried to get a refund for the remaining months on my plan, but they said no to that too.
I paid for an extended warranty on a car I bought
I paid for an extended warranty on a car I bought. The warranty covers $3,000 per claim with a $100 deductible. A-Protect won't pay for a brand new part for my car, which would cost $2,400. They'll only cover a used part. The part in question is a Turbo Charger with a crack in it. It's a component that naturally wears out over time, and I shouldn't have to settle for a used part when I purchased insurance specifically for this repair. I want to be reimbursed for the cost of a new part.
I bought a warranty, but when I tried to use it, they said no
I bought a warranty, but when I tried to use it, they said no. They said the warranty covers everything on the power train and more. My ABS sensor is broken, but they won't fix it. This sensor affects my AWD system, skid control, limited slip, and ABS braking. It's not just about the power train, it's a safety problem too. They won't give me my money back for this useless policy.

I bought a *** insurance from A-Protect on March
I bought a *** insurance from A-Protect on March . It cost me 2700$. Unfortunately, my car got into an accident on March 7, 2022, and it was declared a total loss. I reached out to my insurance company and they covered most of the expenses, leaving only a difference of 1600$. I sent all the necessary documents to A-Protect, but I haven't received any response from them. I've been trying to call them every day, but they never pick up. The bank is still deducting the instalments for the remaining amount from my account. It's been 10 days since I emailed them, but I haven't received a reply yet. I paid 2700$ for this *** insurance and I'm still waiting for my 1600$. This has prevented me from applying for a new auto loan. This insurance company is a complete waste of money. I just want my money back and I strongly advise against buying any insurance or warranty from them. They only care about selling policies and making money, not about their customers. I'm extremely disappointed with their service. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I bought a GAP coverage from A-Protect Warranty Corp
I bought a GAP coverage from A-Protect Warranty Corp. They said they would cover my losses if my car got damaged or written off. Well, my car got written off on Aug 28, 2022. I sent them all the documents they asked for to process my claim. But guess what? They didn't bother getting back to me, even after I emailed and called them multiple times. The person on the phone didn't know anything about my claim. Finally, after waiting for ages, they came up with a claim of $107.00. Can you believe that? My loss was way more than that! So, I asked them how they came up with such a low amount. But, surprise surprise, they didn't reply at all. I even tried calling Mr. Emad H., the Manager, but he didn't give me a straight answer. All he said was "I DON'T KNOW." He was clearly avoiding the question about my claim. This is not fair to me at all. I really hope someone looks into this. Thank you!
I was really convinced by the sales guy to buy this contract, which is like a fancier version of my current warranty plan with ***
I was really convinced by the sales guy to buy this contract, which is like a fancier version of my current warranty plan with ***. It covers my PowerTrain + Turbo Charger and even the diagnose charge when I go to the repair shop. They said everything is covered under this deluxe plan, and they kept repeating that parts will be covered up to the value of my car. But here's the thing, they made me do an extra mechanic checkup for my car's health, while other companies just need to know the mileage for approval. And get this, they wanted a one-time payment of $3000, which already seemed sketchy to me.
Now, when a problem actually happens later on, they don't cover the specific parts they mentioned in the contract if there's a name change, even if it's basically the same part in a German car. I mean, I get it, German cars can be expensive to fix, but I'm not willing to dish out thousands of dollars on my own. And guess what? When the actual parts break under the contract, they only cover $500, which includes the labor and parts. That barely covers the cost of diagnosis! Why would a company try so hard to convince you to join their warranty and then hardly cover anything in Toronto? I don't want to be involved in any of these schemes where they lure you in and then don't deliver on what their reps promise.
On February 16th, I called A-Protect because my car was having problems and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a transmission issue
On February 16th, I called A-Protect because my car was having problems and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a transmission issue. They told me to go to "***, ***". On the 17th of Feb, the car was diagnosed, and on the 18th of Feb, we signed the permission document they sent after the recommended company diagnosed our car. On the 22nd of Feb, I called to check the status of the car. The representative rudely accused me of not signing and returning the document, but then realized that I had sent it back. Just so you know, they sent the email without the attachment (everyone makes mistakes), but I signed it as soon as the actual attachment came in. From the 23rd to the 25th of Feb, there were no updates, and I kept calling to sort things out with the shop. On the 24th of Feb, the representative we spoke to blamed the shop and was rude to me. On the 25th of Feb, after multiple calls, they said the shop would have the car ready tomorrow, which was a Saturday, even though they knew the shop wasn't open on weekends. I had to bring the car back to the shop two more times because the same issues kept happening three days later each time. The shop is about 35 minutes away from my house. On the fourth occasion, I was told to take the car to another shop for diagnosis. The diagnosis was that it wasn't a transmission issue. So, they said they would send us to another shop for repair, even though we asked to go to the shop that diagnosed the car since it's close by. They showed no remorse for the fact that we have been dealing with this issue for the past three months. A-Protect refused to give me a refund for the job that wasn't done. They also claimed that the first shop changed the transmission, but the car still has the same issues and error codes. Therefore, I believe no work was done on my car even though I paid for it to be fixed. I would like a refund so that I can get my car fixed somewhere else. A-Protect has not done their job. Please see the attached document for reference. Thank you.
I got this car warranty called "Powertrain Gold" from A-Protect Warranty Corporation
I got this car warranty called "Powertrain Gold" from A-Protect Warranty Corporation. It's valid from Dec 2021 to Dec 2023 or 40,000km. This warranty covers up to $1500 per claim for engine issues. On Sept 18th, 2022, when I had only driven 3500km with this car, the engine suddenly stopped working while I was driving on the highway. The car was completely stuck, couldn't move at all. I had to tow it to my mechanic and then I called A-Protect for help. They suggested that I take my car to their mechanic so that I could "get more value for my money." I wanted to use my own mechanic, so I asked if I could send them an estimate and diagnostic from my mechanic. My mechanic found that one of the two balance shafts was stuck, and the repair to get the car running again was to replace that part. The estimate for the repair was $3955. I sent the estimate to A-Protect, and the next day, a claim agent called me. He asked about the oil and then started saying that my car had a piston problem, which was just an assumption he made. He said that in order to get coverage, I had to replace the pistons. He said, "We don't want you to come back again for another claim." Then he told me I had to take the car to their mechanic. When my mechanic diagnosed the car, he had to take apart the front end, and the car couldn't be moved. It would cost over $800 to move it back and forth, which would make the warranty useless. Their mechanic asked to see photos and videos of the stuck balance shaft, and when my mechanic provided them, their mechanic said that the car needed a complete engine rebuild. A-Protect then said that in order to get full coverage, we needed to do the piston replacement and asked my mechanic for a new estimate. Now the estimate was $7443. After sending it to them, they said that my mechanic couldn't handle a repair of this magnitude, even though they were the ones who said we had to do it. They offered less than half the coverage if we signed a waiver releasing them from all liability. Then they sent a document that didn't offer anything, it just waived their liability. It seems like they don't want to pay for a breakdown that should be covered by the warranty, and they're trying to trick me into signing this made-up document.
