Some unsatisfied customer allegations with their outstanding monetary claims requested for settlement:
MR TAYLOR - Car damaged by AAA. Customer went to talk to owner but was threatened, cussed out, yelled at, told to "go tell everyone" and to "go jack off."Customer took recommendation to tell everyone. Owner Maged Abuzaid told this customer that he would rather spend $10, 000 fighting than paying for the damages. Customer claim requested to settle $1000.AAA offered to pay MR TAYLOR $1000 and MR TAYLOR accepted AAA's $1000 offer to settle his claim, but AAA has not yet paid him anything.
Customer quote:"Every day my case is not settled is another day I am working on my case, another day I warn people to avoid AAA, and another day that Maged M Abuzaid should know I am not messing around. Apparently I have not gotten AAA's attention yet since my claim is still outstanding, so I have more work to do."
TARA SEARS-ALTHEN - Car wrongfully seized by AAA with an illegitimate lien placed on vehicle.AAA still in possession of car. Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act Notification was recently sent. Customer claim requested to settle $22, 000.
Customer quote:"Because I am a woman, AAA described me on the Internet as a 'maid' and an 'old hag' which can hardly be called a sensible settlement offer. At least they haven't slapped me or dragged me by my hair as Maged's wife alleged he did to her in a domestic violence police report."
VM PASSAT -This company is abusing the mechanics lien process intentionally. The business utilizes various internet site like Craigslist and Backpages, by luring individuals in with a very competitive prices, and advertising free towing, as well as other perks, to get the consumer to chose their services, and once the vehicle is in AAA Auto possession the charges are doubled or tripled without any notice given or authorization agreed to by the consumer, if the consumer disputes the charges a mechanics lien is used to retain the vehicle in order to extort the consumer for the new exorbitant amount for the undisclosed repairs or to permanently deprive the consumer of the vehicle that is in the shop's possession. These actions essentially amount to a theft, considering the value of the car versus the amount agreed, or even disputed amount. Customer claim requested to settle - amount unknown.
PITBULL - my girlfriend use to work for them and had her car fixed also.
1st. She quit without giving him a two week notice and refuses to pay her. we are taking the owner to court.
2nd. ### work she had her car taken for body and paint work. they charged her over $800 to paint her car and what they did is they took her car to MAACO for a $300 paint job.

First of all they over charged me on fixing my cadillac.Second of all my car wasnt thoroughly checked.Third of all they took stuff out of my car.I had an old battery and a gas can that was taken out of my car.My car ran for at least two weeks before something messed up on it.I am highly displeased with their work, and i would suggest them to do a better job. HOMERD - I have a 95 Del Sol that i was taking care of very well, i met one of the guys who works there and he told me to bring my car to add a suspension that i bought recently. They promised me a payment plan and then they told me that I have to pay all the balance off before I get my car back. This is unfair and it really doesn’t match our agreement. Some people had similar problems with this company and they had posted complaints.
NO - These idiots did the exact thing to me. They quoted me $20 for an oil change and then when I got there they told me 4x that amount. Like others have said they are trashy, ghetto, unprofessional and need to be shut down.
WASTED TIME - I called and asked for a quote on a service they offered me a very low price and I asked her twice if she can insure I still receive this same quote when I show up to the shop. I repeated the make of the car twice and she insured me the price would remain the same. I even told her I was driving a long distance and I have a limited amount of time to get this service done and she assured me the price was guaranteed. Once I drove almost an hour to get there, the trashy, unprofessional receptionist told me because of the make of my car, the price of the oil change would go from 25 dollars to 105 dollars. I told her that was why I repeated the make of the car to her over the phone twice because I did not want this to happen. She did nothing about it. DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL.
MRTRUTH - BERWARE! These guys have a customer service rating of "F" with the Better Business Bureau! Also, search for lawsuits, complaints and ripoffs under AAA Auto repair. How can you claim 100% customer satisfaction with 6 UNANSWERED COMPLAINTS with the BBB? Is that NOT FALSE ADVERTISEMENT? Just to be fair, don't take my word, do an internet search for complaints, lawsuits, scam reports, and blogs on AAA Auto Repair Houston...Then thank God you didn't engage them for anything!
BLU14 - Worst experience ever with a repair shop. The owner is very nice when he wants your business, he will quote you one price and then after the job is done charge you up to 3 times the price. I was quoted one price, then when I came into pay I was told my total was almost 3 times the amount I was quoted. The owner then told me I was only quoted the labor cost and I should have asked for the out the door price. But he had told me that was the out the door price before the work was done. To make it worse the problem with my car wasn't even fixed! Dishonest.
JUSSSTME - This place is a total rip off. I wish I knew they HAD AN F WITH THE BBB before I sent my car there. They're ad says they have free towing buy they didn't tell me until AFTER it was time to pay that it was only for new engines. What they wanted to charge me was alot higher than what they quoted me. No wonder they're in the ghetto.
DAVID SUAREZ - My experience with this shop has completely made me lose all confidence in auto repair businesses. I walked into their shop where after a test drive they informed me that my transmission had slipping gears, metal particles in the fluids and were concerned that in its current state it could cause a serious accident. They explained my different options; a fluid change that according to them would only be a temporary bandage fix ($29.99) OR they could take the transmission apart change any parts affected by wear and tear ($599.00). I let them know how I had just separated from the military and the fact that the car had the possibility to break down really scared me since I was living in my car. (I still had all my clothes and possessions in my car) They told me that they understood my situation and would have my car to me in two days. When i came back I found my vehicle still on the lift, the manager of the shop began to explain that when they tool the transmission apart they found a peace that was in such bad condition that they could not put it back together (I could not have told you what the exact condition of my transmission but i had just driven back home from Alamogordo New Mexico where I was stationed, i had no problems what so ever, i had even driven through the mountains) they told me that the cost to repair was going to be $2300... I have placed complaints to the BBB for their false advertisements of their certificates, they also have pending lawsuits. I really want to let people know the damage that they have caused me having had no job, being disabled, and worst of all I have had to give up my dog. I would also like to add that after all this when I told them how upset one of the guys from the shop got in my face and dared me to do something about it. I urge you to not provide these people business

My car was at the shop more than 2 weeks, the paint job looks like a matt finish instead of glossy. It took them another week to fix it.
HEATHER - Awful! This guy, "Mike" which is not even his real name, is a total scam artist. He sells cars and says there's nothing wrong with them, and if there is, he will fix it. But when you leave, you'll find all kinds of problems and when you try to take it back, he won't fix anything. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS GUY! EVER!

KATRINA AUSTIN - I AM CURRENTLY DEALING WITH THIS ###. HE CHARGED ME ONE AMOUNT, IT WAS PAID. THEN HE COMES TO MY JOB 16 DAYS AFTER THE SERVICE AND STEALS MY CAR. I CALLED THE POLICE AND HE TOLD THE POLICE I OWED HIM AN ADDITIONAL 650.00 FOR A TOW AND ALSO OWED HIM THE MONEY THAT WAS PAID INITIALLY. HE TOOK MY WHEELS OFF, BUSTED THE WINDOW, MY HEAD LIGHT WAS BUSTED UP AND THE FRONT BUMPER WAS HANGING OFF. HE THEN CLAIMED THAT I NEVER PAID HIM. I ASKED HIM TO PRODUCE THE DOCUMENTS THAT HAS THIS AMOUNT, HE REFUSED. LATER I CONTACTED MY LEIN HOLDER ABOUT THE INCIDENT BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT RELEASE MY CAR, THE LEIN HOLDER RETRIEVED THE VEHICLE AND OBTAINED THIS ALTERED RECEIPT. I HAVE ALL INVOICES FROM THIS COMPANY. THE FIRST VISIT WAS DATED ON 05/30/11 FOR AN AIR COMPRESSOR. THE 2ND VISIT WAS ON 06/23/11 AND THE 3RD WAS ON 07/12/11 HE TOOK THE VERY FIRST INVOICE AND COMBINED THE LAST INVOICE SERVICES TO IT. SO HE TRIED TO MAKE IT APPEAR AS THOUGH I DID NOT PAY THE ENTIRE BILL. I WAS FLOORED WHEN MY LEIN HOLDER AND I COMPARED MY CARBON COPIED INVOICE TO HIS PHOTO COPIED ONE. I AM CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THIS COMPANY TO COURT AS WELL AS FILING CRIMINAL CHARGES FOR THEFT, FORGERY, AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS. THEY MUST BE STOPPED. I am taking them to court. I got the paper work but have not turned it in yet. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau, the BBB, by me. And the rep at the BBB told me that they kept asking for the paperwork I had on them. Because they knew they had forged invoices to get more money out of me. Friend had his truck "worked on" here. They lied about the work, then had his truck taken for a mechanic's lien and he is suing to get it back. Has two mechanics who signed saying the work was not done! I work in marketing and am very familiar with Local reviews. Most of the positive ones here are being placed by someone to push down the bad ones and try to outweigh them. Let's look at IP records and see in court if they doubt it! So this is like any business LET THE BUYER BEWARE! Bunch of clowns wrote the good reviews.

This place is very shady and I have thrown away almost 1500 dealing with them. The guy was very nice in the beginning but when I went to pick up my car there were 100s of dollars in extra charges added to my bill. When I confronted him he got very upset and yelled at me. Now the engine that they replaced doesn t even work and its only been two months! DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR
