I have been attempting to resolve this issue for over 2 years with no satisfaction I have been left sitting on the side of the road on 3 separate occasions. The one I have the most problem with is when I was told that a tow truck was on the way I was broke down on a hot day with 6 people in the car (3 over 70 years old) here is the email I sent them .I will do everything in my power to warn people about your lack of service and disrespectful actions Here it is again. My name is Ormonde Sheehan, membership no. [protected]. On 07/08/2021 at approximately 3PM I called AAA and requested roadside assistance on hwy.89 in lassen park. I was told that there was a tow truck 57 miles away and that only 2 of the 6 people that were in the vehicle could ride in the tow truck. So l made arrangements for 4 people to be transported the 147 miles back home while 2 of us waited for the tow truck. After about 3hrs. I called to check on the tow truck and was told that there wasn’t one on the way yet. And that he needed more info.from me.then I was told that it was 200miles to the tow company that handled that area.and they couldn’t get there that day.but the representative said that he would keep trying to find someone if I wanted him to. I was 147 miles away from home so of course I said keep trying. At approximately 10PM I made arrangements for a ride home and called to cancel my request for roadside assistance.the next morning I rented a truck and trailer from a neighbor hired 2 people to help load and haul my van . And traveled the 147 miles back to my van and brought it home. I went to your website and downloaded the form to be reimbursed for my expenses I found it to be inadequate. I don’t have a receipt for the $67 I paid for fuel or the $250 I paid for rental on the truck and trailer or the $300 I paid the helpers . Or the $200 I paid for someone to come out at 10:30 PM to give me a 147 mile ride. I can provide you with a receipt for the $300 I want for my time on 07/09/2021. And I do have a receipt for AAA roadside assistance coverage, which I did not receive. Which by the way I have been a loyal paying customer since 1954. My total expenses for retrieval of my van comes to $1117.00. Payable to:

Ormonde Sheehan

P.O. Box 228 Rackerby

Ca.95972. I then sent this email .

Please read original email. I am not Glenna I am Ormond ,this is Glenna’s email I don’t have an email address. I have sent you this information several times. I am considering taking my business elsewhere!

Fuel $67.00

Truck & trailer rental $250.00

Hired labor $300

Transportation $200.00

My time $300.00

Total = $1117.00

See original email for further details.

I paid for roadside assistance coverage. I requested roadside assistance, I didn’t get roadside assistance, I had to retrieve my van myself. I sent you a list of my expenses in doing so. I expect to be reimbursed in good faith like I have paid my membership dues for all these years. Thank you And then this email. Hi it has been 7 weeks since I have heard from you . Your email says allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing. This whole incident has been a big inconvenience. I am starting to see a pattern , and I am seriously beginning to loose faith in AAA.. I have heard several times that AAA has left members sitting on the side of the road and told them to call back the next day. What are we paying for roadside service for if we have to take care things on our own? And if your drivers are too lazy to do there job. Get new drivers .

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of out of pocket expenses
