I went through my bank to get the phone number of this same company who went into my account and charged me over $90.00 after I ordered the $.99 sample. They're really good at what they do. I contacted them and they said if I sent the sample back unopened they would reimburse my checking account the money they debited off. I, did, immediately deactivate my debit card so they couldn't remove anything else. I don't trust them.

I entered this URL and the website does not exist. Also, I called this phone number and have been on hold for over 8 minutes. I can't even be sure if this is the right number to call. Is customer service really your "number one priority?"

The best thing anyone can do is CONTACT YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY! They know the best way to deal with these fraudulent activities and have a very high success rate of getting you your money back.

Doing it yourself is time-consuming and it will most likely get you nowhere as they have numerous websites and emails and the postal addresses listed are often false (as in the Australian case).

You need to call you bank, tell them of the unauthorised transactions, they will file a fraud complaint against the company and cancel and reissue you a new credit card so it can't keep happening whilst the dispute is being processed.

My bank told me that due to the number of complaints against this company the Australian border security are taking on the case for investigation.

In Australia, there is a 99-100% chance you will get all your money back if you contact your bank asap.

Good Luck!

I chatted to a Brian on line at Acaiburn who cancelled my subcription and he gave me two toll free numbers to ring and cancel the other charges. I have done all that and now hope not to see any more charges on my credit card. I have been involved in the scam since April and it has taken me a while to cancel...and I am an Accountant! This must be so frightening to people who do not persist in finding how to cancel this fraud.

I too was sucked into this " FREE TRIAL " and have found an unauthorised charge on my credit card for $94.77. Irang mybank immediately and the best solution they gave me was to cancel the card as this would stop anymore illegal transactions. I have tried to findthis company, but all attempts lead to my webbrowser saying that these sites are no longer available.

CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARDS. It may be an inconvenience for a week or so, but it avoids anymore charges, better still, dont buy anything from this company - pack of ### that they are.

Money Was stolen out of my account without my consent or knowledge by wellbhealth.
I Want ALL MONEY RETURNED IMEADIATLY OR I WILL SUE FOR DAMAGES.

I researched the name on the charges to find out who this was. It is for a diet product, i am not over weight and would NEVER purchase such products especially online on a unsecure site.

I also signed up for a trial of this miracle drug - and have likewise been the victim of unauthorised payments from my visa card

I started by calling Bioresponse who advertise the product as theirs. They in turn told me to talk to their two Merchants Ezykit and Elitepack? Needless to say both of the latter referred me back to the former...and so on and so on

It is quite clear they are all complicit in this scam!

Perhaps our be-knighted Fraud Squad might like to take this on (sic) ?

Masnoona: You don't say whether or not you used a credit card for your transaction but if so, do please monitor your account regularly and keep a note of every penny you spend. This will be the only way you can keep tabs on what is being taken from your account and by whom. Your card company will know the names of most of the company's who withdraw 'unauthorized' funds and will advise you accordingly. The card companies can trace most if not all the weird and wonderful names disreputable businesses use and you should dispute every single transaction your did not authorize yourself. Some of these businesses are just 'names' held under the umbrella of a 'cloaking company' which does make them more troublesome to trace but by no means impossible.

If you do dispute what you consider to be an unauthorized transaction, you will not have to pay the amount in dispute neither will you be charged interest on it if, in fact, you are found to be a 'victim.'

Unfortunately the 'spammer' who proports to give advice from all the various companies mention on this site (thus proving their affiliation to one another), neglects to inform you that all the helpline will do is to issue you with a cancellation number and refer you to all the other companies intent on taking money from you. You will need to contact each and every one of them to cancel individually. To avoid this inconvenience ask your card company to provide you with a 'head office' address for the 'holding company' and write a stiff letter to them in support of any dispute you may have pointing out that as you received no goods or services from them or their affiliates, you have no contract with them and keep all correspondence as evidence for your card company to use on your behalf.

I wish you luck and I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Another update from Mum of OJ
I did obtain a couple of small credits to my bank account at the end of August, BUT... the money has started to be taken out of my bank acount again. I have spoken to Acai Burn and CWL again this evening and they have confirmed that they actioned my cancellation and no further transactions have been taken from them.
Money has left my account for:
1) MyDietID.com
2) MyFitBalancer.com
3) YourLifesPath.com
Can anyone offer any direction? I just don's know how to stop this...!

gmanextreme,

You won't like my answer, but the easiest way is to go to cancel your credit card and get a new one from the institution that supports the card. Tell them your card has been compromised and get it replaced ASAP. You are likely not only going to be getting charges from the company that you think you are dealing with but also their "subsidiaries" or "partners" i.e. - conspirators that they have shared your card information with.

Enough of us have had to call several numbers to know that getting shed of these scammers is not easy. The only sure way we've found is to cut off their ultimate source. Once you do this, expect nuisance phone calls from Acai or a subsidiary trying to get you to disclose your new card information. NEVER EVER disclose that to them no matter whether they threaten, whine, wring their hands, or do cartwheels.

Register all your phones with the Federal no-call list. Get every phone number they phone you from (ask for it, because they likely will conceal their number when they phone you). Politely but firmly order them not to call you again. If they do, file an immediate complaint on the Federal no-call list.

Banks and credit unions are usually happy to cancel your old card and replace it, because replacing your card is much simpler than dealing with a string of charge disputes.

I ordered the trial size Acaiburn. Then received an order and sent it back and cancelled, not knowing I even ordered anything more!I was charged all of those membership fees for another 2 companies and had to cancel those as well. It turns out cancelling those 2 company charges was easy.I was charged 3 charges of 59.95, even though I received only one and sent it back. I called every month after getting my credit card statement and was told I was refunded or if according to me I wasn't that I would be as soon as it was looked into. I faxed all of my credit card statements to them numerous times to show I was not refunded 3 times and still nothing. They never had a superior to talk to, no head office to contact and I kept calling. Now I am told for the first time that the time I had to be refunded has expired! I was hung up on twice and was told my bank had to contact them for me to receive a refund. This has been going on for 6 months. I tried to get refunded right away, was told I would be and now I have no recourse because they made up a time limit. I hope someone reads this and does not get anything from these crooks!

The same thing has just happened to my son. He ordered some free acaiberry on 9th November. They took the payment of £7.40 out then which is supposed to be for postage and packaging. This week they have taken two separate amounts from his account this week, one on the 7th Dec £53.86 and the other on the 8th Dec. £73.91. He phoned his bank and they said they would write to the company to tell them to stop taking any more money. I think this will be a waste of time as it is obviously a scam. I have told him he need to cancel his account straight away which he asked the bank to do but they told him he would need to call into the bank personally tomorrow to do this. I just hope no more money has been taken out today.

All of you posting complaints here and threatening to call police, etc. yada-yada-yada--that accomplishes NOTHING.

The only sure and easy way to get off this is to go to your bank or credit union, tell them your card is compromised and cancel your old card as soon as they can issue a new one--cancel earlier if you can get by with another card for a week or so.

Thereafter, expect nuisance phone calls from these creeps and their "affiliates" who will try to talk you into giving them your new card number. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THAT TO THEM or you'll be right back under their thumbs again.

I've given up on our alleged consumer protection at the federal and state level. Business owns our governments now, and they will do nothing. The fact these scammers have been allowed to do this for years shows Federal Trade Commissions and state attorney generals could care less about their citizens being victimized. Folks, we are on our own.

^^ courty, DO NOT COUNT ON THIS POSTING TO STOP THE CHARGES. Get a new card and continue trying to get a refund. I just got my statement and there are about 10 charges from these BS companies all adding up to over $600. I then checked my balance online and there are a few more there. I just got off the phone with my CC company and they cancelled my card and will be issueing a new one. Now at least I can sleep well knowing nothing can be charged on it, then in the morning I will start hammering the phones to get refunds on stuff I didn't even buy or get.

I called every number on my statement one by one and it was very easy to cancel and get confirmation numbers. I was only able to get refunds on some of the items if I sent them back, but it's better then nothing. They tried to convince me to stay by giving partial refunds, but I said no and they didn't push back at all and just cancelled. I guess when 99.9% of your calls are to cancel, you get the hint when someone says NO. I would still suggest to cancel whatever card you used for these charges and get a new one to save yourself the headaches of any surprise charges later on.

I repeat, THE ONLY QUICK AND CERTAIN WAY TO GET ACAI OUT OF YOUR LIVES AND OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS SEEMS TO BE TO TO CANCEL THE CREDIT CARD YOU USED AND HAVE IT REPLACED WITH A NEW NUMBER.

THEREAFTER, REBUFF ALL ATTEMPTS BY PHONE REPS FROM ACAI AND ITS AFFILIATES WHO WILL CALL YOU TO GET YOU TO DISCLOSE THAT NEW NUMBER.

The number of victims' complaints on this site shows that advertising is deceitful and their avoidance of easy opt out information reveals this to be a scam run by cyber-thugs.

What a joke - I live in the UK and I have been scammed out of hundreds of pounds and my credit card wont refund my money, because I entered the details of my card on to the internet. I thought I had not continued with the purchase, I didn't receive any goods so thought nothing of it, until I got my credit card statement and saw hundreds of pounds have gone through my account. Oh yes - no goods either...!

If acai want to make amends and save thier reputation - give us all our money back then and stop stealing from us.

I submitted somewhere before but I will keep doing it till I get satisfaction. I got sucked in as far as I am concerned and it has cost me dearly. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 3 and can't believe I have lost so much money on something I ended up not even using. How dare AcaiBurn be so deceiving, free to cheap trial with no mention of the hundreds of dollars that will be taken out. I am going to take this higher as I intend on getting a refund for all the money I feel has been stolen from my account. Different names on account details and amounts everytime to me is trying to hide something. I feel sickened by my foolishness and AcaiBurns deceit.
I have cancelled over the phone and was told I would receive an email still hasn't arrived. Amazing how quick it is to get the money out but how slow it is to stop?
I will continue my fight for refund.

Sharon, it's not productive to deal with these perpetrators. They did not deal with you in good faith at the start, and you can expect no better from them at a later time.

Go to your bank, cancel your credit card and, if necessary, close any of your bank accounts that Acai has been accessing and open new ones. You have to ACT NOW to cut them off from your money at your bank. Otherwise they will likely keep on drawing money from your accounts.

Let us know if you manage to get a refund and how you did so. Several Aussies have posted complaints and they seem to be the latest victims.

UNETHICAL Approach to sign you up.

I too found to be issued with headaches trying to stop a trial for continuing with their products. Its now three months and attempting to call them drains my phone credit each time without success.

I have unopened bottles and I want to return them and get refunded.

I find it very unethical for this company to give cancellation and contact details after taking Credit card information which is placed in the most hardest reaches on their sites
