This ACAIX3 is a SCAM! I purchased the free trial and when I went to cancel it, I realized that the company doesn't post on their website ANYTHING about where to call to cancel your membership. When I finally got a hold of their 800 number, they had already charged me the next months supply of $88.55! And I hadn't even received the free trial yet! The guy at the custimer service number gave me such an attitude because I wanted to cancel my membership and how they had already charged me the $88.55 so I would have to send back the "unused" portion (funny because I hadn't even strated the free trial) and they would issue me a refund. All he could do was cancel any further billings, which I did. Upon receiving the product, I called their company IMMEDIATELY and got the information for sending the unused portion back. The girl, this time, at the customer service number told me that I had to OPEN the mailing package and put my order number on the bottle as well as putting the order number on the OUTSIDE of the package because I wouldn't be able to get my money back. I did EXACTLY as she told me to do. You know what? That was May 21, 2017. Today is June 24, 2017. I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK! Now they give me the run around and tell me that they supposedly processed it back to my account and that I need to call my bank and find out why it's not in my account. They (Acaix3 Company) also stated that other than that they can no longer do anything for me! I just got off the phone w/ my bank (TD Banknorth) and they guy was real nice and told me that they are starting a dispute for those charges. He also said that NOTHING has been posted from the Acaix3 company to refund any amount of money to my account.

Please let everyone know that this company is nothing but a SCAM! It is nothing but a fraud and I am so upset that I got suckered into their stupid hoax! Because that's exactly what it is! A HOAX! And Rachel Ray and Oprah should be ASHAMED of themselves for even promoting such a company on their shows.

This company is the biggest SCAM on the internet! BEWARE! The offer a free sample; then charge you $59.99 for the product a month later. Then continue to charge you monthly membership fees to a number of different firms. EVEN AFTER I HAVE CALLED AND CANCELLED TWICE! I am so upset and it is the biggest FRAUD AND SCAM on the internet today.

Some regulator needs to shut these people down ASAP! Please!

I have even sent certified and confirmation receipt mail to them in Des Moines, IA ------ And they deny it. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. SCAM/FRAUD

HI,
Read your complaint and would advise you to contact your credit card company and explain the situation. Hopefully you obtained a cancellation ID number from the agent which you should give to your card company as proof you cancelled the order. In the unlikely event that your card company is not helpful (they usually are in situations like this) then you should report your card has been misued and request your account is closed and request a new credit card and account number. Viv3 will then be unable to take a payment as your old card number will no longer be valid. I live in the UK and I advised my local trading standards officer of their trading practices which although are not illegal are at the very least not transparent and up front with how the information on trades and conditrions is presented. I would imagine that you have a similar organisation to deal with customer concerns and complaints in the U.S. Anyway good luck and hopefully you get it all sorted out

This company claims they will send you a free trial if you pay s & h...this is a scam! After you recieve the pills they will charge you $58.75 and also continue to charge you every month. When you call to cancel they will put you all over the place having you call different numbers, chat with different people...just don't do it! When I asked one of the customer service reps if this is common they refused to give me an answer...when I said that it was a scam he said "ma'am I promise you there is no scam here...it's not our fault people don't read the entire website before ordering..." Don't waste your money on some fake diet pill and a rude company

I work for a credit card customer service company in Canada and believe me, I've had my share of horror stories related to Acai Burn brought to me by customers. Obviously I won't give any concrete examples since I am not allowed, but let me tell you this:

It is not frequent that I see a customer with over 3x 90$ transactions on the same monthly statement for Acai burn and its affiliates.

Customers never receive the product, they can't get a hold of customer service, they can hardly find a valid email adress

Unfortunately what they do is entirely legal, so us, as a credit card company, legally cannot block this merchant from charging, nor can we refund. The only way is to ask to cancel the membership, and even if they don't, to keep the proof and hope that your credit card company will be able to help you (in our case after X days of the email sent we contest all transactions)

I HAVE SEEN SOME CUSTOMER'S WHO WERE CHARGED UP TO 800$ AND MORE IN A MATTER OF A FEW MONTHS (few being less than 3)! Unfortunately, for some they do not have the money to make even the minimum payment brought by such an overload, and this can truly harm the credit rating before we can even (legally) react

STAY AWAY FROM ACAI BURN AND ALL ITS AFFILIATES

***DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS***
The free trial is a scam. They charge $15.00 for the original free trial.
On cancelling because of bad press immediately after ordering.
I thought O.k that was fine I ordered and I was able to cancel.I cancelled within 14 days as required!
Low and behold one month later 4 lots of charges.totalling $180.00 (au).

Please note: They allow you to cancel but the small print states that you become a member of ebooks and secrets and tips-they bill you once a month.
you have to cancel these with separate telephone no that you can't get through too!
They have debited two different credit cards although I only gave them one no!?
The telephone no they give you to get a refund is never answered!
absolute night mare!
If anyone knows any more about getting refunds from this company feel free to let me know!

I booked the free trial today before readng the reviews and I wasn't happy about the auto ship arrangment. I have just cancelled everyting via the live chat, further shipments and the e-book package, but it looks as though I will have to take delivery of and be charged for the trial sample. I'm ok with that because I do want to try Acai but was worried about furhter charges. I have been told by the live chat operatoor that my card details, e-mail address and telephone numbers are wiped from thier system when you cancle. Regarding the e-book packeage, the operator may give you a telephone number to call to cancle, I suppose they rely on people forgetting to, but I asked to cancel on line and it was done no problem.

GETTING OUT OF THE SCAM!

If you get caught with this scam, do the following to get out:

For the "free" memberships (pretty easy):

1) Cancel the additional memberships immediately. Call the numbers on the bottom of the screen, which are:
*[protected] Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package (Shows on statement as Membership)
*[protected] Insider Secrets To Weight Loss (Shows on statement as Web Access Fee)

2) Make sure to write down and save your cancellation numbers.

For ACAIburn (much more difficult):

1) Talk to an online chat person. Get them to tell you that they will not charge you for anything and will do a full cancellation of your order. Repeat that you DO NOT want the product shipped. Say it over and over again. You want NO CHARGES and you DO NOT want the product to ship. Make sure that they tell you that that is possible if you call the cancellation number. Email that to yourself.

2) Call the cancellation number and ask to talk to a supervisor after they tell you that they have to send the product out and cannot cancel the shipment or charges.
*[protected] AcaiBurn (Shows on statement as AcaiBurn)

3) Tell the supervisor that you were told in no uncertain terms that you could fully cancel the shipment and all charges. Offer to email him/her the transcript of the chat (which you have emailed to yourself). Refuse to get off the phone while they check the email.

If it works for you like it works for me, they will do a "master cancel" of your account. This means that they will ship the product, but will not charge you. They will also not require you to send the bottle back after you use your sample. According to the floor manager I spoke with, I will not get charged for anything. I triple checked and then took his name and ID.

Crossing my fingers. Ugh. I feel like an idiot.

I placed my order after reading a write up via a link on the Metcheck weather website. I wish I'd found this website first. I got annoyed when I'd finished placing my order and found that I'd been signed up for the 'Insider Secret tips' website and the 'Weight Loss eBook Membership website - neither of which I remember saying I wanted. However, unlike some of the comments on this forum, an on-line chat operator gave me these numbers both of which I've rung (so they do exist) but as yet don't know if the cancellation has worked: [protected] to cancel the Weight loss -book package and [protected] to cancel the insider secrets package. I'm going to go back now and get a number to stop my complete order after reading about the difficulty some people have had cancelling the 3-monthly $58.76 subscription. I was also annoyed that after being told I was eligible for 'Ultimate shipping package' which promised free postage and insurance I had to pay$14.90!

I did 3 things:
1. I called [protected] to cancel the Comprehensive weight loss e-book package
2. I called [protected] to cancel the Insider secrets to weight loss
3. Cancelled my complete order via the on-line chat and mailed a transcript of the chat to myself to use as evidence of cancellation with my credit card company should I still be charged and wish to dispute the payments.

You will always have to pay 1) for the postage even though you can sign up for the 'Ultimate Shipping Package' which tells you postage and insurance are free and 2) the terms and conditions have this in them: a pre-authorized pending payment of Fifty-Eight Dollars and Seventy-Six Cents ($58.76) does apply for the trial offer for your initial fourteen (14) day trial membership ("Trial Membership"). If like me you only glanced through the Ts & Cs before signing up for the trial you'll have to pay the $58.76 whether you cancel your trial order or not. However, looking at the pickle some people have got themselves into £33 looks like I got off lightly.
This company's ethics leave a lot to be desired and the quicker WatchDog expose their sharp practices the better.

I ordered the 14 day trial where you got the coloflush and the acaiburn. I was charged shipping and handling for both plus $39.99 for the super coloflush that I didn't order! I called and was told I must have clicked on it, yet I printed out everything from my online transaction and I have a receipt for "Coloflush 14 day trial $0, Shipping and handling $4.99". Now if I'd ordered the super flush, shouldn't the $39.99 show up on the receipt? They couldn't give me a rational explanation for that. Now I cancelled my membership and have to return the Acaiburn or risk being charged for it. How stupid and how stupid of me to fall for this crap!

***********PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS HORRIBLE SCAM!******

sorry if this does not make full sense, i am copying pasting my comments from one complaint onto as many as possible to try and help people but also to see if anyone knows what i can do!

I spoke to someone called eve on their live chat customer services 15minutes after booking when realised it was a scam. She was not helpful one bit! i spoke to her asking to cancel and asking for them to not even send the free trial i do not want anything to do with them, and she said it has been cancelled but i will be charged $58, 76 as i have already been sent my free trial and ordered another months.

When i asked for a tracking number or some sort of proof that it has been sent out as i couldnt believe it had been sent already as my card had not even been charged the postage yet, she said she couldnt give me any. When i pleaded with her to please cancel and not to send anything at all even the free trial as i cannot afford it and i do not want anything, she said the delivery team is very quick and they have left the building!

she had no empathy and was not helpful at all. i have had to close down my bank account as it is a debit card and i am unable to block transactions which is a huge hassle as it means my wages will bounce, student loans have nowhere to go and my rent and other direct debits are messed up.

i feel so stupid as it was so obviously a scam and i realised so soon after booking and yet i still couldnt stop it :(:( i'm never ever going to get free samples again and i hope that this board stops at least a few people falling for the scam.

****DO NOT BOTHER!******

***update***

closing your bank account does not help, they legally have the right to move on to your new bank account as i was told by vivian on live chat who also told me it was very easy for them to still charge.

They also automatically sign you up for other things too.

my bank account would not close as they had charges pending and these charges were taken leaving my account overdrawn and owing a charge to the bank. This company is a total scam and i have no idea how to get out of this downward spiral. I am a student i just lost my job and live alone. i do not even need this pill, im part of a gym and go daily! i just fell for it because it was free or so i thought.

can anyone help please?

I ordered the "free" trial of Acai Burn. 30 days later I was billed 58.XX for the product.

When you place an order for Acai Burn they also sign you up for Insider Secrets, which is an online newsletter, for $3.24 a month. I never received a link or any informatin for this online newsletter. I had to call and cancel, after they charged my account. The wouldn't refund the money. The number to call and cancel Insider secrets is 866.989.2685.

You'll also be signed up for Comprehensive Weight Loss, which I'm not even sure what this is supposed to be an online site or whatever. You'll be charged $7.XX. The number to cancel is 866.989.8944. They did refund my charges.

When I called Acai Burn about these other charges they advised me it was my responsibility because it was in the terms and conditions. So BEWARE of these additional charges that will show up.

WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU... you HAVE TO RETURN THE PRODUCT WITHIN 15 DAYS... not just call to cancel. I called to cancel and only through asking several times did it come out that I had to actually send the remainder back to them BEFORE my 15 days were up - EVEN THOUGH THEIR AUTOMATED GREETING ASKS YOU TO GIVE YOUR REMAINDER TO A FRIEND if you are not going to use it yourself... do that, and you'll be charged over $50 for the supposedly free trial (which, on the phone, they say is not FREE, but is only a RISK free trial !).

It's worth the $15 I'm going to spend on sending this stuff back COURIER to ensure it gets there by the deadline they confirmed on the phone!

Hi Adie M
I was just replying to the complaint from Ailee5. I live in N. Ireland and had no problem cancelling my subscription mainly because our postal system is very quick and although the despatch time was delayed from the merchant, the item arrived in time to cancel subscription. I think some customers are confused and maybe if you make it more clear when actually ordering the free trial (not just in the T&C but on the order page too) that it is a subscription with a free trial you wouldn't get as many complaints - transparency is key. Anyway like I see I have no complaint myself other than lack of transparency. I checked my account this month and I haven't been charged.

I ordered the Acaiburn product on a "Trial basis" and was shipped a similar product out of Burlington, ON.
After reading the contents label, I discovered that it contained only trace amounts of the Acai berry. I returned the product unopened and after many cancellation phone calls WAS refunded the original $cdn 57.65. This took place in March 2017.
In July 2017 my Visa card was charged with $ cdn 3.61 with a notation "on/V insidertips [protected] Gibraltar. I phoned that number and was told that I subscribed to their plan along with the Acaiburn order. They then cancelled THAT LITTLE SCAM. Out of curiosity I asked how many other scams I would have to cancel and was indeed given one additional number "[protected]. I cancelled THAT supposed order and I truly hope that this is the end of a NIGHTMARE!

CONTACT NUMBERS THAT WORK ( Hopefully!)

To cancel your subscription with

ACAIBURN [protected]
COMPREHENSIVE WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM [protected] OR [protected]
INSIDER SECRETS [protected]

If you order a TRIAL from Acai burn you will automatically be linked with these other companies (apparently its in their T&C's but Im not convinced its there). So you WILL need to cancel with these other companies or money will keep on being denited from your account.

All the representives were very helpfull. They would not give me a refund on previous payments but assured me NO MORE will be taken from now on. Which I will keep my eye on from now on. As I understand if this keeps happening you need to report fraudulant payment with your bank.

I hope this was helpful and if anyone has more knowledge or info please comment below.

These companies do not care when you send bottle back and even with a promise not to send you any more they still take money. The small print also states 14 days from your order well you probably will only receive it 2 weeks after your order. I have had 3 payments from an account and I have physically nothing to show for it as I sent the 2 "samples" back as soon as I received them

Although Addie M. claims innocence, check out the fake Acai study allegedly done by a New York Television Station. Go to and try to find reporter "Julia" or the New York TV Station. They are using trademarked logos to imply that even Consumer Reports is involved in doing the tests that indicate the Acai product's efficacy.

The ad lies about the study, lies about the station, and lies about the "free" offer by implying no obligation (tee hee!). Every hotlink brings you to the marketer's page where they try to hook you into letting them into your bank account. These sites use key loggers, so they will collect your card info even if you decide at last minute not to submit. Thereafter, they will drain money from your accounts until you actually close your credit card and get a new account. You will suffer with the losses and harassment described by hundreds of victims who actually found Complaints Board. I suspect there are tens of thousands of victims overall.

The only thing more worthless than Acai products may be the Federal Trade Commission, who allows this preying on consumers to go on and on.

This is not true. You do not refund people or even give them a cancellation number. I cancelled my order on June 19, just one hour after I placed it. I received the product 17 days after that and returned it right away to China, as requested. I sent lots of messages and always received weird answers. It has been 51 days now and no refund or cancellation # yet!
