hi i did exactly as emma anderson has, i also obtained their employee numbers and names and i recorded the telephone call, stating at every opportunity that they will not be billing my credit card in future and that auto shipping has been cancelled, i'd like to add that i was suspious about my email address given to them as the email 'chat', did not get sent, but luckily i printed a version and sent it to an alternative email address and low and behold it went through there, i only suspected that there is some block so you cannot email proof of conversations, also i contacted everyone in my address book as i suspect that acaiburn will hack into it and sent spam to everyone, so i immediately sent a message about them to everyone on my mailling list, just to cover that, i read the terms and conditions and they state that they can give our details to third party companys, so i'm expecting a barrage of calls from telesales! i will only answer the phone with a caller id now.

i think i covered everything, you need to be shrewd with these people. collect as much information about your cancellation for your credit card company, this was all done within 3 days of filling in the registration form, so i don't expect any comeback!

btw any call from the uk please be sure to phone between 1pm and 2 am or the call will come back as 'temporarity disconnected' i have also contacted the consumer programme 'Watchdog@

good luck to anyone caught up, cancel immediately

The CANCELLATION problem in the UNITED KINGDOM, do as follows:
1. For Membership:
Have your Order ID: Number, your telephone number, your address by your side
Telephone [protected]
Obtain a Cancellation Number
To avoid the $79.95 -> within 21 days of order return the Trial to:
Atlast FullFilment,
2B Viking Industrial Estate
Hudson Road
Bedford
MK41 OUB
On the outside of the package write clearly your Order ID: Number
Keep a note of your Tracking Number
2. For Insider Secrets:
Telephone [protected]
Obtain a Cancellation Number
3. For eBook:
Telephone [protected]
Obtain a Cancellation Number

Its a circuitous route to exit 'this sham' but do as above quickly for United Kingdom 'users' to sort it out and prevent the follow-on 'auto' charges to credit card from the small print.
I have had my cancellation number for two weeks but never received my goods. How can i cancel if i have nothing to return and they are still taking the money.

Well...

You are correct, they are scammers and liers.

Today I just received... another 3 bottles of this stuff.

Having just got off the phone to them, i'm told that my account has been cancelled and they do not know why I have received these.

So far that is 6 months supply received in less than 1 weeks.

I shall be going to their despatch offices in Bedford this week to return them and to get a full refund.

Fortunately I'm not a "fat lazy ###" as someone on here thinks the people that took the free trail are.
I'm a trained athlete and martial artist who only wanted to use a more " natural" method of fat burn for muscle definition than the more chemical based ones such as maximuscle.

I'm expecting an interesting reception when I get there, and will update this forum following my visit.

cheers
Colin...

I too was scammed by these people, they have taken over £156.96 GBP, and to this day I have never received a thing, after ringing them from London and speaking on the phone for nearly 1/2 hr, they have stated that they have reimbursed me £71.20, I have asked them to reimburse me for the other £85.76 and they have stated that I am outside of the 60 money back guarantee therefore, I have no right to ask for my monies back, I have stated how can I be outside the 60 day money back guarantee when I have never received anything to guarantee, they have stated that this is not there problem, I also asked them about all the membership fees that I have been charged they have stated that this is another company in America that I have to ring to claim monies back from them as this has nothing to do with them, I have said that funny how these charges started when you started taking monies from my account but yet it has nothing to do with you. I have tried to write and email them on several occasions and nothing but yet they respond to my bank by changing their name to HEALTH & BEAUTY and then taking more monies!

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE THIEFS, CORRUPT DO NOT FULFILL THEIR OBGLIGATION AND DO NOT SEND OUT ANY GOODS!

First of all, you should ask for new bank card # since card issuers are aware of Acai scams on the Internet. Return unused products or empty bottles to senders. In order to unsubscribe from Acai Burn, go on the web site where the product has been ordered; clic on "contact us" or "customer service" at the very bottom of the page, and tell them you want to cancell your subscription. Enter your name, address, order #, telephone #. They will give you weard answers, but you should always respond back to them. Each time they respond to you, take note of e-mail address, and respond back, using all addresses noted. If they do not answer, re-send e-mail to each address. Do that until they finally stop sending you their crap and charging your bankcard, which charges you could contest by the way.

Addie M.
This is not true. You do not refund people or even give them a cancellation number. I cancelled my order on June 19, just one hour after I placed it. I received the product 17 days after that and returned it right away to China, as requested. I sent lots of messages and always received weird answers. It has been 51 days now and no refund or cancellation # yet!

Office de Protection du Consomateur (OPC), a Quebec government organism, is working on the problem. They found out that Acai Berry products are sold on the Internet with false representation. First of all, Terms and conditions are not CLEARLY displayed. They do not comply with Quebec laws for lots of reasons. If those people want to do business in Quebec, they'll have to follow the rules.

I've had the same problems with this company. It's true the site sets out its way of doing business, but it's still a scam.

In my case I cancelled my order by email the next day - but I still received the trial package and my credit card was charged for it, PLUS within LESS than the fifteen days trial period my card was charged for the NEXT package. I returned the trial package unopened, following exactly the instructions for doing so, plus I emailed a copy of the mailing receipt. One credit has been received, not for the full amount charged. No credit has been received for the second charge.

Of course this is a scam - straight companies do not behave like this, or have complicated terms of sale, or charge for returning goods and 'restocking'

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY

I have recieved 6 months supply in 6 moths and had no problem canceling via their live chat. ( see below) I was not taking it regularly' as I simply forgot! However the product works. I know cause I tested it. I take 2 every day with a vodka orange before dinner.. It's like rocket fuel!

Thank you for taking the time to try out Acaiburn. This is an automated message to confirm that you have recently been removed from our preferred customer program; therefore you will no longer be receiveing any more Acaiburn products or shipments unless a shipment had already been shipped prior to your cancellation.

Please keep this cancellation note for future reference.

Acai Burn - SCAM
I agreed to a free trial of Acai Burn and some associated VIV3 product also. Although both are now cancelled I have fuond myself committed to about £130 worth of products due to failure to cancel within a 15 day period. Also an affiliated xompany called WebAccess appear to have sunk their claws into my account and I have been informed that frequently there is another such company that will also quietly extract money. Also when you call to cancel I suspect that you are charged at premium rate. This assumption is based on the pedestrian speed with which the obstructive call center employee dealt with my instructions. How can this blatant scam be considered legal and acceptable by the authorities?

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! i have called 18 times to receive my refund and conveniently enough...there is NEVER a supervisor available. They would tell me someone would call back in 48 hours. 72 hours later they hadn't. i then proceeded to call 18 times and they will not refund my money...even though i already sent everything + the free product back unopened! They kept telling me my credit posted...which it had not. Then, once i finally reached a supervisor (because i would not quit calling until they told me when one would be available) he kept saying, "there is nothing he can do." DO NOT, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

i just cancelled the "free trial" which was a 30 day trial, they still charged me $50+ for it when the last costumer service rep. said i had 30 days to try it, well it was A LIE you only got 14 days to try it and send it back which is total [censored], you can't really be "satisfied" with a product that takes over 30 days to act in just 10 - 14 days! DON'T ORDER THIS... you'll lose $$$

Well basically, a lot of people, including me, are always looking for new ways to improve our bodies. Unfortunately, we get caught up in new trends and jump into them without doing a little research first. This company "Acai Burn" is actually owned by a marketing company and in no way shape or form is associated with, or interested in helping people reach their goal and have preyed on us "health junkies" for a one-time bs deal. If you're like me, you ordered with the intentions of cancelling, and they know this and are prepared. They will cancel, yes, but you must pay their 79.99 fee for your "free trial" and are offered no sort of cancellation reassurance. I will give you one tip that worked for me and stopped all 5 companies from charging me anything now, or in the future.

Call your bank and tell them the situation, they will be more than happy to REPORT YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD STOLEN! This will stop everything and you will be reissued a card and happily live your life thereafter.

Remember, there are a lot of scams out there. Do your research first (I wish I did), and don't jump so quickly at the next craze. Futhermore, do what I did, pick up a Men's Health magazine, or Women's Health, and reach your goals safely. There is no quick and easy route to a healthy lifestyle. Hope this helped.

We are dealing with both these people as well.. charging our bank card and my credit card. All these hidden charges are crap. We will never buy stuff like this online..again. So all those honest people trying to sell stuff need to put a stop to the crooked ones.. Not likely to happen but a good idea anyway. Miss representation.. saying something is free and just the shipping charge and no obligation and low and behold they take 87.13 and 57 plus from us.. not going to happen again. thanks for listening.vera and carla

I ordered a free sample of this product, but even though I cancelled within the allotted time they charged me full price for the item because it wasn't returned prior to cancelling. Then they had other hidden fees in their terms for some sort of support service and other misc. fees which you needed to call about and cancel as well. They ended up debiting my account several times and they indicated that it was within their rights since I didn't call each one of these services to cancel.

I think that is a load of crap!

I returned an unused product to this company and am still waiting for a refund. I have phoned this company numerous times but unfortunately the money still has not been returned to my bank, even though i have been assured it will be. The shipment of pills was also sent to me after cancellation of this order. They are an absolute joke!. This carry on has lasted nearly four months, so please have a good think before ordering from them. You also get charged approximately £8.00 a month for non existent services from two other companies.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED WITH THIS PRODUCT. IF YOU READ NO FURTHER - PLEASE ACCEPT MY WORD AND DO NOT REqUEST THIS "FREE TRIAL". IT IS A NIGHTMARE!
The popups for this product are everywhere and I was drawn in just like everyone else posting here. I think of myself as a reasonably bright individual. I have put on some weight over the last 5 years and needed a bit of a boost to get me started on a weight loss program. I requested the "free trial" at the end of July. I saw the first amount of just under £10 drawn from my bank account at the sametime and waited for the product to arrive. I received an email to say it had shipped but no tracking number. To date the goods have never arrived.
I was only stimulated into investigation further when monies were taken from my bank account again in the last few days (nearly $60). I checked with the fraud dept of my bank and they guided me towards this company and the problems associated with it. My bank have even started to investigate themselves and said that the detailed T&C's that allow them to use your credit card and contact details are so well "hidden" that most people connecting to the site would never find them.
After numerous phone calls (very long waits for connection to a person in all cases), redirections etc. I believe I have cancelled everything they have signed me up to.
They have my email address and phone number so I am expecting a deluge of "cold calls".
Contact numbers I used and actually spoke to peope are:
AcaiBurn +[protected]
CWL in the UK [protected] - very difficult to connect to, sometimes disconnects whilst ringing, other times it says the number has temporarily disconnected and when you do connect it takes about 15 minutes before you speak to a person!
Insider Secrets (UK # [protected] did not connect) US +[protected].
BTW - the cancellation numbers given by both CWL and Insider Secrets are in identical format and follow on so it is the same company / cancellation system - but they make it so difficult to cancel as you have to call all companies individually to cancel.
I have been assured that no further funds will be taken from my bank account - let's wait and see.

I have recieved a response, whether it goes anywhere or not, I have yet to see. Keep emailing this company. The first response was an automated one that said no complaints will be processed via email, but i sent a second & go this...Thank you for contacting our Customer Service Department. Your query is currently being investigated by one of our Customer Service representatives. You can expect to receive a response from us within one working day. Please note that in some exceptional cases it may take up to two working days when we need to investigate the matter carefully before getting back to you with an answer. ... with a reference number. Not that I trust in this, but it is a response.
also do NOT cancel your credit card without doing it through a credit card representative. You may incur the charges again on your new card because believe it or not, they are linked!

WHAT I DONT' UNDERSTAND IS THAT IF THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES KNOW THIS SCAM IS GOING ON, WHY ARE THEY ALLOWING THE CHARGES TO THEIR CUSTOMERS CARDS? PERHAPS A PHONE CALL FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE ASKING IF WE'VE MADE THESE CHARGES? THEY LIKE TO CHARGE THE INTEREST THAT THE SCAM WILL INCUR MAYBE?

Keep at this company! Don't give up! Our hard earned money is worth more than their scammed dollars! Keep it in your pocket!

I have a complaint of my own. I ordered the product and received it on July 25, 2017, I tried it for 7 days. Something in the product gave me a alergic reaction. I called and canceled on the 31 of July. I sent the unused portion of pills back with the cancellation number written on the bottle and package. The company turned around and charged me the entire fee of 60.71 for the pills I don't have anymore. I've called everybody and their grandmother at this company and have gotten no where. They got my money and unused pills back and I got scammed. I want my refund back in my checking account. It has been a month now. Where is my refund? Im calling the better business bureau now.

Saw an "ad" on www.people.com. It was disguised as a person who worked for a newspaper and took the "Acai Burn Challenge" and it stated wonderful results of an average sized woman making great changes in just a few weeks of using said product. What a lie! After I received this in the mail I read through the book that was within the package and realized that what they said to do in the book is what anyone would do to lose weight. Cut back on calories and other obvious things and this is why I cancelled the product. Said it offered a 14 day trial or whatever. Thankfully I was able to combat this company before it started making a mess of my finances. I took the advice of another person on this website and went ahead and cancelled my debit card so I would be able to avoid any other charges. Dealing with their customer service was a nightmare, just as you would assume with a company who is trying to take you for money. Please make no mistake, they will attempt to smooth this over with a reply and a comment showing they are not to blame but I am and I disagree! The website was misleading on the weight loss, and that is how I figured this out. Hope you do too! P.S. don't trust the customer service rep. to send you the email regarding return instructions, if you say you will just keep him on the line until you get the "emailed instructions on how to return the product" he will eventually be forced to give you the information, as he wants to keep his call volume high.

You should. There are too many companies like this one ripping off people! It used to be a time were companies went out of there way to have the best reputations. Now, all they care about is stealing money from people who work hard for it. They use marketing tools that trap people into signing up for things they have no idea about. They don't put their shady terms in big bold letters like they do with the free trial advertisements. Get ready scam artists because consumers are smarter than they used to be! We are going to shut down all your shady businesses and speak up about it!
