I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I want osme of that money back. I have already called my bank. also that is a 30 dollar charge. I am 75 years ol on a fixed income Plese stop now.

I HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. BEING A SINGLE MOTHER, I CANNOT AFFORD OVER $40 FOR THIS PRODUCT. I ONLY AUTHORIZED THE CHARGE OF $4.95. 71 MINUTES WAIT TIME ON THE TELEPHONE! I DID GO ONLINE TO REQUEST A REFUND. STILL AWAITING AN ANSWER. THIS IS TERRIBLE.

I too was done the same way and just decided to cancel my card. I have tried to call and the wait time is 72 minutes this is a scam in the making I wish Oprah would give me my 84.00 dollars back! People work to darn hard for there money to be taken that easy. My bank is aware of the scam so maybe I can recoup some of my money back.

You charged my credit card for acipure. I bought the sample bottle for shipping costs, with nothing else to buy. So I tryed it and it does not work. I canceled on line and on phone. Again you charged my credit card. If it is not put back on my card by my next statement, I will be going to the media and my attorney for false advertisments. Now please handle this ASAP.

Boy oh boy! I should have checked this site out before i ordered this stupid crap. I too was charged the 44.85 for the AcaiPure and another45.85 for the Colotox. Whatever happened to a $4.95 shipping and handling fee and a free trial offer? I never authorized the additional items!

This company is bilking me out of $44.95 a month for a product sample i never received. they do not answer phones or emails. My american express account has to be closed and reopened because credit card companies always protect the merchants (they won't block any merchant id number trying to access funds from your account) and not the customer.

I ordered a free sample online and was supposed to be charged shipping only. they charged my account $44.85 on 10/27/08. The details of this "free trial offer" the black and white was not clearly indicated. Since the original "free trial sample" I been charged on 11/17/08 for $39.95 and again on 12/1/08 fro $44.90. I have only recieved one shipment and I never authorized NOR did I request additional shipments.

This company has an awful business code. They have burned me for online purchases. I will contact my financial institution and I will take legal action if they do not refund my money.

Thier business practices have to be illegal, don't they?

After ordering a $4.95 trial size bottle of AcaiPure my credit card was billed $44.85 for additional products that were not ordered by me. After attempting to call the number listed several times to be told the wait time was over 70 minutes to talk to someone in customer care and they recommened I go to their e-mail site for help, here I am and there is still no one listening! I am calling my credit card company to have the charges removed!

offered free trial sent to me with additional products i did not ask for and was charged for. trying to say i did ask for them. they give me the link above to see my order and it is their front page ad only. then trying to charge me for additional amount of origional cost of free trial to cancell my trial offer. Exactly what is a free trial? last time i checked it meant no charge! so how can they come back and say that they are now charging me for my free trial offer?

Please do not call the phone number at the top. That is my home phone and I too am a scam victim. I have lost $90.70 to these jerks, had to cancel my card and it has been a pain in the neck. I can't believe no one has done anything to this company yet!
I am sorry I can not help any of you out there, but I was suckered too.

IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO
BE TRUE - IT PROBABLY IS!

Thanks Dr. Os... and O!

I odered a trail bottle of the product Acaipure. I was told that the cost was $4.95. I did not receive the product and my debit card was charged $44.85.
I have been trying to call the company since the day I put my order in on 11/14/08. You can never get through. I am on hold right now and the wait time is 47minutes. I will never order another product on line if the offer looks too good to be true. You got me this time...

I only accepted the free trial offer plus 2.95 s&h. I
nstead of only taking out the 2.95 they took out 44.85 out of my account. I did not authorize that. They have me down as ordering 2 other products but all i ordered was the free trial. I want my money given back to me minus the 1 item i did order.

I AGREE ! What a rip off. These people use Oprah's name and then do this to people that do not have much and this kind of money means something to most. They sent me the trial and two other products that I did not order. Then they want me to send back which means postage and a re-stocking fee. Why should I send back something I did not order and pay a re-stocking fee of something I did not order. I wonder by law if I have to return something I did not order? Good Luck to those who got hit by this scam! contact the BBB.

I had this happen to me with another company. To get your money back all you have to do is call your bank or credit card and tell them it was an unauthorizied transaction. The bank or cc company should send you paperwork to fill out, send it back to the bank and the bank will take care of it and should return your money back to you. It is then the banks responsibility to then go after the company. The reason it is an unauthorized transaction is that the amount they took out of your account was not the amount agreed upon by you making it unauthorized. Hope this helps someone.

Agree, they charged my credit card for $44.95 but I never received Acaipure and it's been 2 weeks. Tried to call them but were told that the wait time is 79 minutes. Still waiting for an answer after my email to them.

Just read a bunch of these comments after falling prey to the same misleading website. I stayed on the line last night for over an hour until I got "Joel" on the phone. Like you all commented, this customer service rep told me that it clearly stated on the website the additional charges and products. I asked him how he slept at night working for such a dishonest company. I also told him I would not let this matter rest and that I would report it to every source I could find including the Better Business Bureau. I just can't believe they can get away with this kind of stuff!

This company along with Colotox are purely scams. I was charges 44.95 for the AcaiPure $ 45.95 for the Colotox that should have only been $1.00 /ea plus $4.95 shipping and handling. I have been charged an additional $38.95 from Colotx in less than 1 months time and I have not received any hoodia water. Reaching this company is a joke as hold time are over 1 hour. I will be reporting my card lost/stolen due to the unauthorized charges and I will never order any products like this in the future. Luckily I used my credit card and not my debit card to make this purchase because I would be out of approximately $145.00 due to charges from Colotox and AcaiPure. I have also received separate small charges of $1.95 & $16.00 from other companies I have never even heard of. Please DO NOT order any of these products and warn anyone that may be interested in these items. Needless to say, I will not be trying these products at all.

I ordered one bottle that was supposed to be a free trail with one $1.95 shipping charge. It was sent to me and then I find a $39.95 charge on my credit card. Now another bottle is on the way and I must pay a 15% restock charge plus $4.95 for shipping if I refuse the shipment. What a rip off if you don't very, very carefully read the terms and conditions. There is no way to contact anyone to cancel the next shipment. I have tried with an hour wait on the phone.

I ordered a free sample of Acai Pure and a few days later received Acai Pure, gum and a serum I did not order then was charged 44.85 on 11/5. I returned the unopened gum and serum on 11/14 to get reimbursed which I have not as of yet. Then on 11/25 I was charged 39.95. for what I don't know. Please take my name and account number off your automatic list and reimburse me for the last 2 shipments. Thank you, Judy Huseman

Emailed for free trial offer for the cost of shipping only. They took out shipping and 44.85 for an order. Per their terms I was not be be charged until after I had the trial offer for 14 days. Very obviously a scam. You cannot reach them on the phone. You cannot speak to a "live person". I am notifying the bank to not let any more payments come out of my account to them. Unfortunately I am out the 44.85 and will have no product to show for it. What can be done legally in a case like this? I know there are Government Agencies that deal in fraud but which one? Thank you

I ordered a free trial of AcaiPure of which I was to pay $4.95 shipping and handling. This company sent the AcailPure plus other dietary aids. I ended up being charged $44.95. When I received my credit card statement I was also billed for supplements I neither ordered or received.

I ordered on line a sample of AcaiPure Dietary Supplement for $4.95 which I paid for by my Discover card on October 8. (Paid credit card bill on 11/24/08). Did not sign up for any more product nor have I received any more product, but on my Discover statement (closing date 11/25/08) there are two charges from AcaiPure. One 11/4/08 for $39.95 and one on 11/19/08 for $44.90. I never ordered additional product and have nor received any. Please credit my acount for $84.85 and confirm by e-mail. Thank you, Cindy Bell

I received an email 11.10 confirming my order would be shipped. Instead of the $4 shipping they charged my card on November 14th $41.85. Today is December 4th still no berries. Called Customer Service Number. Was on hold 51 minutes. Got a guy named Paul. Told him how upset I was and how long I held and the problem. He tried to tell me my berries were backordered and I told him I am refusing product and disputing charge. He said he could not give me credit. I asked for a supervisor, he said he was one. I asked for his supervisor. He said they were all in meetings and I'd have to call back if I wanted to talk to one. He kept telling me that he was going to note my account that I refused to do things the way he told me, which he didn't tell me anything just kept changing what I was telling him into something else. I told him I hope his call is being monitored because he will lose his job for not letting me talk to anyone but him. I told him my brother works for the news here in Baltimore and if he didn't let me speak to a supervisor I'm going to him. He said "I'm disconnecting your call." I am now contacting the news, my attorney, the BBB in Arizona and my credit card company. This company is a total scam. Beware.

It has now happened to me twice. The first time I ordered the trial offer and was told a debit of $4.95 would post on my account. They charged me $44.85 for products that I did not order. I imediately got onto the web site (phone calls were impossible with wait time of over an hour.) I canceled saying I did not want the trial offer.

Now, I have been charged again, $39.95 for a product that I did not order. HOW do we put a stop to this? I received an e-mail saying they were sorry for me to cancel so quickly and if I stayed they would give me $10.00 off each month. Nothing about a refund or even stopping the debits from my account.

Has any one had any success with cancelations?
