I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. Dez Roberts
I PURCHASED ACAI PURE. THEY NOT ONLY CHARGED ME AND SENT ME A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, BUT THEY CLAIM THAT THEY CAN NOT FIND MY ODER WHEN I CALLED TO CONFIRM MY ORDER THREE DAYS LATER. THE CHARGES HAVE SHOWN UP ON MY CRDIT CARD STATEMENT. I HAVE CALLED THE NUMBER ATTACHED TO MY EMAIL AND I HAVE CALLED THE NUMBER ATTACH TO MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. I DO UNDERSTAND THAT IT MY ONLY BE 4.95 CENTS TO SOME PEOPLE, BUT ITS THE PRINCIPAL BEHIND THIS. I AM NOT GONNA LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. I AM GONNA SUE.
Wow, Listen to these complaints. I also went for the "free" trial offer which was backed by Oprah. (The product) Not only did they charge me for my free trial, but kept sending more bottles and more charges AFTER I cancelled my order and any further deliveries. It was all confirmed on my e-mail. THEN, thinking it was all over, I get another bottle and another charge on my account ($44.90 a pop). I am so angry that I'm even spending my precious time wrapping this up and sending it back. And, they will keep you on hold for over 45 minutes if you want to speak to a human being. I learned my lesson that nothing is "free" and to stay away from scam artists like this!
I too fell for their scam. They also tied my order into a company called fit-fac which also billed me $29.95 to my card. I went back to the web page and after scrolling down to the fine print under terms I found it after the fact. An honest company would not hide the details from consumers.
ACAIPURE AND COLOTOX (SAME COMPANY--CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS, INC.) CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZE THE CHARGES OF $39.95 EACH----I DO NOT WANT
NOR WILL I AUTHORIZE AN AUTOMATIC CHARGE MONTHLY TO A
CREDIT CARD. STRANGE AS IT SEEMS WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY
THE OPERATOR SAID "DUE TO THE LARGE A PPROVAL OF THIS PRODUCT
THERE IS A WAIT OF -...YOU CAN GO TO OUR WEB SIGHT WWW.ORDERHELP " THAT IS HOW I GOT HERE. APPARENTLY THEY
DO NOT CARE AND WILL NOT STOP. GUESS WE SHOULD GO TO THE
ARIZONIA ATTORNEY GENERAL----THAT WILL STOP THEM.
I sent for the free sample and the only cost was suspose to be S/H. The order came with some stupid gum and a small bottle of water which was an added cost of 44 plus dollars. I was so ticked that didn't bother to use any of the crap thinking if I was stupid enough to be taken in by this scam then I would just write it all off as a very dumb mistake. But NOW I get another bottle of junk pills saying they were charging my account. ANYTHIING we can do? I am going to my bank first to stop this transaction, I hope, but I would sure like to be part of a class action law suit. anybody up for it?
I dont understand how this kind of systematic criminal behavior is being allowed to continue for so many months inspite of so many complaints.
My wife got similarly duped recently. She was promised a free sample and was asked for her credit card number over the phone to bill the shipping charges of $ 5.95.
Subsequently the company started billing our credit card $ 29.95 and $39.95 without our approval and without shipping anything to us. This is inspite of cancelling our order for the free sample immediately over the phone when it was noticed that it sounded mischievous.
On-line selling and advertising of this product should be immediately stopped by authorities as it is being used for foul play by some criminally minded persons.
ME TOO! But luckily after every unautherized withdrawl there has been a number on my bank statement to call. I've called everyone and cancled membership and demanded they return the money! MY account is a tottal mess!
This HAS GOT to come to a stop! Can't someone do something? Did you all find this on Facebook? That's where I was drawn in. I may have to change my bank account now. IT MAKES ME SOOOO MAD!
Never heard of acaipure ... never ordered "free" trial...never received product... was charged 4.95 s/h fee then 39.95 even though I contacted them about 4.95 & had cancelled my account!
I only ordered a trial of this product and paid for the shipping and the next thing I know they charging a monthly fee for this product and supposedly sending it every month, which I don't want . I sent the trial back to them unopened and said I wanted no further product. This is apparently a scam. I want this stopped and I also received a charge for fit-fac, which I found out is subscription to some sort of fitness and beleive it is somehow tied to Acaipure, the charges appeared around the same time.
I returned unused portion of freee sample and still received another shipment . Cancel any future orders and refund to my account asap.
Thank you

Good luck to you. I hope they gave you a RMA# that they demand you have to return, not to mention the 15% restocking fee they are going to deduct IF they refund you. I canceled on phone and still they sent out another $44.95 bottle. Just found out about the other $39.95 charge for not returning the trial bottle, but they said it had to be returned in 14 days, not 30. Now stuck with 2 bottles, out almost $90. total, and no refund for me. Better Business Bureau, here i come!
Ordered a product from company on 11/13 on internet was only to pay shipping of 4.95, decided that I didn't want it and tried to cancel on same night but couldnot so called first thing in the morning was informed that I could not cancel product was shipped anyway even though I wanted to cancel. Product was received on 12/12/08 immediately returned with a postal tracking number to assure its destination. Product was received by company on 12/15/08 signed in by one of their employees. I have since been charged 39.95 twice and have received no additional products for those charges. They have charged me the following charges without authorization: $44.90 (11/18), 39.95(12/27), 39.95(1/14). I do not want any of these products and do not want these charges. They are fraudulent charges and I am very frustrated. I cancelled this order on 11/14/08
I had ordered for a free trial of acaipure. A few days later, on 12-31-2008, my credit card account was charged, $29.95 by a website called www.fit-fac.com and on 01-09-2009, my credit card was again charged $39.95 by acaipure for products that I didnot order. Please look into the matter and remove these charges from my credit card billing.

I requested the free trial of acaipure paid the shipping and handling. From that point I have continued to receive a monthly shipment. Called the toll free number to discontinue the order after the thirty days. It has now been 3 months and I continue to receive packages. Last month I put RETURN TO SENDER on the package. They have not credited my account and yesterday I received another bottle of this junk. Could you help me ? Thank you for your time.

I ordered one bottle of Acai-a Slim dietary supplement capsules. They were a one month trial for shipping only---$4.95. I made sure that nothing else was checked off and that I was only paying for the capsules. I read that website completely. After that, my account was charged several times and all these other health-related items were being charged to my account that I did not approve. So far around $200. My bank has stopped the account due to fraudulant activity and is investigating it for me since I can not seem to contact the company directly. No answer ever. I am sending all products back. This is a complete scam.
IT JUST AMAZES ME HOW THIS IS STILL GOING ON? WHO IS GOING TO PUT AN END TO THIS NIGHTMARE! WHERE ARE THE FBI AND WHY HAVE THESE PEOPLE BEEN ABLE TO CARRY ON THIS FRAUD FOR SO LONG? IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO STOP THEM AND MAKE THEM PAY, LET ME KNOW. I THINK THAT IT IS INSANE THAT THIS IS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE TO HAPPEN TO MORE AND MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE EACH AND EVERY DAY!SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS IMMED., AND THESE RUTHLESS PEOPLE NEED TO BE PLACED BEHIND THE JAILHOUSE BARS WITH THE KEYS THROWN INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. I HOPE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU THAT GOT RIPPED OFF LIKE ME, GET YOUR REFUNDS BACK. BEST WISHES AND LETS PUT A STOP TO THIS RICIDILIOUS FRAUD!
I purchased the 14 day trial product from Acaipure. Now they have charge another $89.13 to my account without my permission. I have contacted my bank which has closed the account and disputing the charge. The Fraud department of my bank did tell me that they have had numerous complaints about this company. On the web site it states satisfaction guaranteed, well I am not satisfied.
unauthorized charges through my bank account
I ordered a sample from online: a "no risk" trial offer for $1 plus shipping.. When I was charged on my account without even having received any product, I tried to find my receipt of the product. no recpt. I could only trace it using the charge on my account..I found out by reading the very very fine print that this is a monthly shipment thing. usually, they will have you check a box saying that you agree to these terms but there was nothing like that. I never did get an order number. tried to call - They put you on hold forever. I waited once, then went to the website that they say you can use to cancel. I filled out the "form" - never heard from them again. when the product came, I sent it back "return to sender" .. unopened. still, i got charged. I have disputed it with my credit card company.. I see someone else has a complaint with another one of their products.. colonpure or something like that. do not buy from this company!
1/19/09 I wish I would have seen this page before ordering my free trial. It only said $3.95 for the shipping and handling. There were no other boxes to check off where I agreed to pay them more money and no hidden boxes to click on, where this scam was hiding. Two hours later after putting my order in I decided to check more information on Acaipure and found this page. I immediately checked my credit card and couldn't believe my eyes. There was a pending transaction for $89.31. Unbelievable! How can these people get aways with this. I have contacted my credit card and emailed them a copy of my invoice that I was sent. Hopefully this will be enough to cancel this transaction. This is ridiculous!
I see there are many in my shoes already complaining about a trial offer that I received for Acaipure pills. I ordered a free sample and gave my credit card for shipping. I figured that since they were using Oprah''s name it was a safe company. I can't get them to stop charging and sending me product. The phone number they give on the packing slip is [protected]. Doesn't work. Email address doesn't work either. How can I get them to stop charging on my credit card and sending me something I don' want? I have already been charged $44.90 on four occassions and the shipments seem to be coming closer and closer together. They are running up my credit card. HELP.

I have never ordered anything on the internet before and after this deal with ordering Green Tea Extreme where they sent me extra shipments (2)without my consent within 30 days @$44.90 per shipment I am going to try and get the better business to investigate into this matter !
I just read all of these complaints, and guess what? Me too. Ditto. I complained to my Amex about the fraudulent charges, At first they credited mt account, but after contacting the comoany, they reinstated the billed amount. Now I have to keep fighting the charges.
I don't know about you, but I don't have time for this nonsense, I really hope the american Express Company will be aware of these frauds, and believe their clients instead of taking the word of these frauds!

WAS ONLY TO CHARGE FOR SHIPPING
I ordered a "Free Sample, you pay only $4.95 for shipping and handling." I received the sample and honored the charge for $4.95. Later, I found my credit card had been charged with $39.95 which I did NOT order nor authorize. I have received NOTHING more nor have I ordered anything more from them. Interestingly, I have had FOUR more unauthorized charges against my credit card from companies with four different names. They are Bodycleansingonline, Easybodydetoxonline, Fit-Fac (which I think is supposed to be a health club) and Mastercleans. I believe this is nothing but a group scam. If you have not already done so, I urge you to NOT give them your credit card, even for "Free Samples".
On 11/13/08, I ordered the "free trial", and was immediately charged $44.85, the product finally arrived on 12/15/08. At this point I was already beyond the 30 day trial so I actually filed a complaint with my credit card company and am waiting to hear from them. This was after trying to call the "800" number, receiving a message that the wait time (due to popularity of product) would be six minutes. I placed my phone on speaker and continued to work. After 30 minutes, I hung up, but their message referred me to getorderhelp.com. Well, since I didn't have an order yet, I didn't have an order number. Today 1/21/09, I access my banking info on line and find they have now billed me an add'l $39.95 because I didn't return the initial package, and have charged me another $44.90 for the 2nd shipment which I have not received. I placed another call (wait time to be 11 minutes which turned out to be 16) and told the girl to CANCEL my order. She was not very nice, so we'll see what happens. Once rec'd (if that happens it will be returned). Do NOT buy this product.
This is obviously a scam.
Wow! I can't believe this compancy can do this kind of business and get away with it. the very same thing happened to me - supposed to be a free trial and I got charged for the product plus 2 other items I never ordered. I also called and was on hold for over 1/2 hour before I finally hung up. Yesterday I received another bottle of the acaipure and was charged another $44. I went to getorderhelpnow. com and sent an emailed request to cancel my "membership" and another separate one to get an RMA number so I can finally get rid of this product and any ties with this company.
What do we do about this? This seems to be happening to quite to few people. There must be something we can do to stop these people from billing our accounts. I have the same complaint as everyone else about ACAIPURE. I just don't understand how they can get away with it. I agree with D. Jones, I thought that the names Rachael Ray and Oprah meant this was legit? Maybe we can all try to contact them so that they can bring it up on one of their shows. Maybe this will elimate the number of people being scammed.
I ordered a trial sample of Acaipure on 1-06-09. Today is the 21st and I have not recd. the product. I would like to cancel as I went to my Doctor and he said that due to my heart and blood pressure condition he does not want me to do this. My order # is 2424540. They said that all I had to do to cancel this was to let them know the order number, but I can not find anyplace to let them know. I also order the colon cleanser trial sample on the same date. I recd this, but did not take until I went for my Doctor appointment. I can not take this either. The colon cleanse company took out of my checking account $89.13 for a month supply on the l9th of February. I called them and told her that I had not had the product for l5 days as they did not send until the l0th and I recd it on the l3th. She said that I had ordered it l5 days ago and that is what they go by. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she could not transfer calls. I called my bank and they can not do anything about this either. PLEASE help me in this matter. A. Lacewell
THE SAME HAPPENED TO ME ALSO, INSTEAD OF CHARGING ME
$4.95 FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF THE FREE TRAIL BOTTLE, THEY CHARGED MY CARD $39.95. I CACELLED IT WITHIN 6 DAYS OF ORDERING BUT THEY STILL CHARGED MY DISCOVER CARD. I HAD DISCOVER CARD INVESTIGATE IT AND THEY REINSTATED THE CHARGE, BECAUSE THE SEND THE PROOF OF DELIVERY BUT THAT DELIVERY WAS FOR THE TRAIL BOTTLE, WHICH THEY DID NOT MENTION. SEE WHAT A SCAM THIS IS AND DISCOVER CARD MUST HAVE GOTTEN MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT ACCAIPURE AND STILL DOES BUSINEES WITH THESE SHADY COMPANIES. THE ATTURNEY GENERAL SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND FINE THEYM!
You didn't read. at the bottom of the website it says in the terms in conditions:
Acaipure risk free trial offer terms and conditions:

If you would've read beforehand, you might not have lost your money. read things before you just hand over your credit card information.
I agree completely with the above. I havecancelled after the 4.95 ripoff. Never got any other products but charges appeared. I waited on phone for twice the amount of time it said and Then girl hung up on me because I "wasn't listening to her spiel" about 30 days etc. I now have2 charges, one of 39.95 and one of44.95 that I am refusing to pay.
AcaiPure is the biggest ripoff! I am contacting the BBB. I am now almost $200 in to this without a product or a refund! The customer service is awful! I actually got through, once, after 47 minutes of being hold. Have you noticed that under "FAQs", the first few answers are about "Why was I charged this amount?" and "Where is my product?" ect. I told the company that if those are the first answers to their FAQs, then they are misleading and not advertising in a proper way.
I ordered the trial version of acaipure on 11/15/08. I was charged 5.95. I did not accept anything to have orders sent to me automactically every month. I received another order on1/21/09. I did not order this and can't get in touch with anyone by phone or e-mail to send it back, because you have to have a return merchandise authorization to get a refund and you also have to pay a 15% restocking fee.I am very dissastified with the product and the fact you can't get in touch with anyone to get it returned and get a refund, therefore I am calling my credit card company and having them to stop running charges through on my card. I hope those people that are ripping others off are caught and shut down and have to pay dearly for what they have done.
All of the complaints above are my words exactly. i've realized this is how they must make their money.in fact - the number on my credit card bill won't even take complaints anymore - they send us to "website" - I have spent nearly 1 hour on the phone with acaipure (and colonrx is the same, by the way for everyone's information!) I think they've crossed a line in consumer trust. i'm really sad - and i'm really angry about all the charges... of course, they cannot reimburse, even if you haven't opened the container. buyers beware!
I ordered a sample of the Acaipure and paid by credit card the $3.95 charge. Now I find an additional $29.95 charlte on 1/2/09 and then another charge by them for $39.95. I have tried and tried to call them and can never get anyone to answer the phone. I tried and tried to cancel this sample order. I have since then written a letter to a man who poses as the president of the company and have returned the product (sample) requesting nothing more is to be charged to my credit card and nothing is to be sent to me. I cannot get a response from them I sent the product back with a Delivery confirmation.
This company is nothing but a scam, Do NOT order from them. I may have to get an attorney involved to get my money back and to stop any further withdraws from my account. They are taking funds from two different sources at this time. BEWARE, this is nothing but a SCAM and I am reporting them.
My Name is J. DeLore and I live in North Carolina... Let this be a lesson to beware of every buying anything off line... and especially using your card on line...I'm contacting my bank tomorrow.
I agree with every complaint listed above... these people are scam artists and are charging for product not ordered after sample, which they won't answer the phone so you can cancel... this is a scam. I have paid to date $73.85 for a free sample with a shipping of $3.95. and nothing after that.
Zoft Gum Company does NOT sell product directly to retail customers. Zoft products can only be purchased from authorized online distributors or in select retail locations around the world.
This matter should be taken up with the company or distributor that you purchased the product from.
I don't know where these charges came from either. I don't understand how they ncan get away with ripping that many people off without the government getting involved. I agree with filing a complaint with the attorney generals office.
