I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. As others, fraudulent charges to credit card. Charges for unknown product or service. Supposedly, this product was touted by Ophra .. ha

The same. Fraudulent company and in with Fit-Fac, Acaipure, Fulfillment Center etc.

Your only recourse is to "hot card" your credit or debit card. They hit mine again the day I called them. Your bank will be happy to stop your card and issue you a new one so that these scam artists can't do more damage.

I along with all the above customers have encountered the same dishonest practice of "Acai Pure" So much for a Risk free trial. There was not a mention of any further shipments or charges on your card other than the $1.95 s/h I also got charged 39.95 after I received my trial and read all of the fine print and realized the scam they were doing. I thought I had gotten ahead of them and canceled right away but it did not matter they charged my account 2 weeks after I canceled. Their intent is to deceive the public so they can get rich. I suggest everyone contact the Better Buisness Bureau and put them out of business like I am going to do. Good Luck!

Offer free trial and you pay shipping. Once they get youe card # they add extra charges for NOTHING! Also when you cancel your TRIAL membership they ask for an order # which you dont have and proceed to say they do not have you in their system, you must have the wrong company! I got the number from the bottle and went right back to the website I ordered the trial from. You never get ti speak to a real person. I dont know how to get out of this. I suppose I will go to the bank Monday for help! Dont get roped like I did! Jill

I'm going through the same exact thing with this company. I called my bank and had to report my card as stolen just to stop all the charges. I found 3 charges from them that I never even received any product for. They used 2 different names to charge me as well. One was the Acaipure and the other was fit.fac.com.

i ordered a sample try out product after i have seen Oprah Winfrey's picture posted on their web trusting the company. about two weeks later, the product came which was not even sample. my credit card was charged for $44.95 on the date i order the sample. i have been trying to contact direct however, unable to contact any human being. I returned shipment. they continue to ship and bill me for another couple of charges. i disputed all charges and the case is not closed yet due to member user agreement. My argument is that they have never sent me a sample product and that 14 days trial period run from the date i receive the sample as far as i understand the terms. i believe many people order this product due to liable source of advertising with well know person, Oprah Winfrey. THIS IS TOTALLY FRAUD.

I order the trial supply for a $4.95 payment for S/H . Then i strated to get charhes onm ycredit card for an online health membership for $29.95 a month and $44.90 a month for the pills. I only received one shipment.

I got a credit for the Fit Factory membeship but they will not give me a credit for the bottle of pills never received and only a partial refund (-15% restocking fee) for the unopened bottle.

I want to close my credit card account but Ican't because this is tillpending.

WHERE ELSE CAN I COMPLAIN?

On nov. 15th, i order the acaipure dietary product on - line and was informed that i would only need to pay for the shipping. If after 14 days, if i was not satisfied i could cancel future orders and return the product for a full refund.

Since i live in hawaii, i did not receive the product until dec. 8th. When i opened the package, i was surprised to see 2 additional products, a hoodiaburst gum and hoodiawater drops. On that same day, i immediately called the company to inform them i did not order those items. They told me i did not decline the additional items (I did not see any information about those items on the order form) , but i could send them back for a refund. The representative offered me an instant credit of $15. 00, to keep the additional products (It would save me the trip to the post office and also a fee for a re - stocking) . Those products costed $9. 95 and $29. 95! I was so upset, i asked them to cancel any future orders. By the way, i did not receive that
"instant" credit until dec. 20th.

On dec. 16th, upon checking my credit card statement, i noticed i was charged $29. 95 from a www.Fit - fac.com (Acaipure's partner company) . I immediately called the fit - fac company and they could not help me, but was told to contact the acaipure. I called and the representative did not speak well, and told me they found no records. I questioned, so why am i still being charged?

Apparently, when i so called "failed" to cancel my order after the 14 day trial, i was charged the $39. 95. But why was i charged an additional $29. 95 from their partner company. I have emailed and called with no results.

I do hope that no one else will go through this difficulty and have a bad on - line purchase experience. I thought i was getting a reliable product, but unfortunately i was terribly wrong. Please inform others to be aware of the "scams" out there!

Replied to a 14 day free trail. Company sent 30 day supply. I called up to cancel any ongoing orders and not to charge my credit card for anything besides shipping. I was not told to send remaining supply back, nor did I know that it was a 30 day supply, therefore my credit card was charged $39.95. I called and complained, told them I threw out the bottle, but they wouldn't credit me back.

I also was charged $44.90 for the first bottle and was sent another bottle after calling the company to complain and charged another $44.90. They told me I would have to send back the bottle at my own expense before I would get credit. I will be sending a letter to the BBB and attorney general

I ordered the Acaipure, the ad stated it was a free sample, you only pay $4.95 shipping & handling, I put this charge on my Visa and they have placed another unauthorized charge on my card,
I want these charges removed, immediately and there is to be no further charges on my credit card. This company is breaking the law.

I also was impressed by the ad on my homepage saying that Rachel Ray and Oprah and katie Curic endorsed this company. so I went thru and odered both products for the 4.95.. then I read the small print at the end that said will be billed 65.00, so I immediately tried to cancel. was unable to do it on the site. so I called the 1-800 number and was told that they could not cancel my order as it was already being sent. I argued that there was NO way they could have sent it because I just ordered it 10 minutes ago. demanded a supervisor who told me the same thing! so I tried to reach the company by using their e-mail adress. that is when I saw of all of this fraud! my husband is calling me a dummy for giving them my card number.. all I could do was call and cancell my credit card. was thankful I found this site before it was too late. hope this does not happen to anyone else! they have not had a chance to charge anything to my account (I hope) I just wonder if Rachel Ray and Oprah are aware of this company they are endorsing! I think not. thanks for the site! I will surely check out any company in the future before doing business with them. my question is how can we stop them from doing this anymore?

The same is happening to me. My husband made one free trial order but they charge for that order the full product price plus shipping, which was more than $45.00. Then, they started to send the product every month and to take money from my bank account without any permission. It's amazing because I've made many complains, I've send many emails and the company answer: Why do you want to cancel your order?. I never made any order! My husband just ask for one free trial! This is a real nightmare.

I have repeatedly tried to cancel this product and no one answers the phone. I went to the website in January and followed the instructions on how to cancel and I still got charged in February. I called the credit card company and have disputed it. This is a big scam! DO NOT ORDER YOUR FREE TRIAL! You will keep paying and paying it is not worth it. I am going to contact the BB regard this company!

I ordered a free sample at a cost or $3.95 for shipping and handling
This company billed my credit card $29.99 then a few day later billed my credit card again for $39.99 and 38.99 on the same day
I closed the account but was not fast enough to avoid the close to $50 in excess charges
What can I do but file a fraud notice with my credit card
This si the worse thing that has happened to me on the internet but, I will never purchase on line again.
How incovenient

They advertise a "free Trial" for $4.95 and you can cancel within 14 days. Then they charge you $39.95 anyway. They say you got the fourteen days free, not the product free. This is a scam. Stay away.

I ordered the free-trial promotion for both acaipure and colotox for the shipping cost only of $4.95 and $5.95 each and then much to my surprise was charged the following month for an auto-continuous
shipping of the products to the tune of $44.90 each. I called the company right away and asked them why I was charged and they said I should have read the fine print and was required to cancel the shipping if I did not want to be charged each month. I told them to cancel the shipping right away and I would send the product back.
They said they would not accept it and I would be charged anyway.
I again requested that they cease any further shipments. They said they would and I was again charged on my VISA for a 1/22/09 shipment after I had already cancelled. I would like the two $44.90
charges ($89.80) credited back to my accnt.

The same thing happened to me. When I realized that I had been charged $39.95 for a sample bottle of the AcaiPure, I contacted the company and after ten pieces of correspondence and my return of the unopened product they credited me for $33.95. They withheld/charged $6 for restocking and a shipping charge that I had already paid to them! I paid initial shipping which was supposed to be for a free sample and when I shipped the bottle back to them I paid the postage again. I feel the company was unfair and deceitful in their advertisement for the free sample. My only recourse will be to contact Chase VISA credit card co. to file a complaint about the charges. I was also billed for a membership in a Fit-Fac monthly Internet weight loss advice web site that I had never heard of, courtesy of AcaiPure. Beware and take cautious care!

My wholehearted recommendation is that you contact your credit card company to submit the name of the company that charged you without your authorization. My credit card company fraud department contacted ME about the charges and said that they had had a high volume of complaints. In a two week span of time I had been charged five different charges and only two were authorized.

Call your credit card company each time you get an unauthorized charge! That is your best option because you can't get justice, but the card company carries a lot more weight in getting this resolved.

Was offered free sample just pay shipping. What I got was a lot of charges to my credit card totaling $129.70. I kept sending back unauthorized shipments and even sent back the sample. They continued to charge my credit card and even disputed the charge after the credit card removed it from my statement. Now I am arguing with the credit card company about why if they know this company is fraudulent in their business practices they continue to put through their charges. I am considering giving up this credit card company even though we go back 20 years.

I ordered my free sample of AcaiPure on 2/7/09 and was told I would have my sample by 2/14. It is now 2/24 and I still have not received it. Reading the above postings scares me and I'm sure I will be getting billed for future shipments and not be able to contact them. Would like advice on what to do.

I called AcaiPure after they charged my credit card for 39.95, of which I already paid the shipping for the "FREE TRIAL OFFER." I do not like doing business like that, if I wanted more of the AcaiPure, I would have ordered more. But the trial offer did nothing for me. Therefore I feel that they owe me, my 39.95 back in my credit card account..

I tried the Acai product that was being offered for a one month free trial, but you had to pay $1.95 for shipping. I decided I didn"t like the product and called the company to cancel any further shipments. I have been billed on 1-22-09 for $39.95 and 2-6-09 for $44.80 which I didn't authorize. I tried to obtain info via their website (mytrialsupport.com) since it was impossible to get someone on the phone and they do not answer their emails. I contacted my credit card company and had them cancel my card, so I would't receive any additional charges. I expect a full refund of $86.70, since I have returned all the product. The refund will have to be in the form of a check, since my credit card has been closed. My email address is: borntogolf1947@yahoo.com

Ugh! Me too. Same scam. They never shipped my product until I called and complained. At which time they said I couldnt cancel the product until Ive already tried it. Then I fell for the cancel by email as their 800# suggested. When I got billed AGAIN for $44.90, I called and they conveniently claim that I never emailed to cancel it from their website.

I asked for the free sample which was sent, . The next month additional bottles arrived and I called and was told that credit would be given Immediately and the account closed. Since then I have continued to receive 2 additional bottles @ $44.90 each and one credit for $15.00. No one answers the phone. What a scam...

This company offers a free trial, asking for only the shipping charge. Of course they need your credit card information to cover this charge. They then charge unordered products to your card. These unordered products arrive one or two times each month. The charge for each ranges from $39.95 to $44.95. Their customer service line is never answered, their email is never answered. The only way to stop the product arrival is to cancel the credit card.

I also ordered the product for shipping cost only of $4.95 and was charged $39.99 dollars instead of $4.95 s&h. They sent me a package a month later and since then I have cancelled any further shipments. When I spoke with customer service, they informed me that the internet site explained the terms of the offer. This product offerring is a scam as they don't fully explain the terms in their advertisements. You have to carefully read all of the fine print on the site to find out what you are really agreeing to.

Customer service was very rude to me after followed the instruction to return the product (I provided them with the postal routing number). They informed me that I would not be reimbursed for the shipping and also they would be charging a restocking fee of 4 plus dollars. When I voiced my objection to the restocking fee and told him I was goint to contact the BBB the rep became rude . I asked to speak to a supervisor and was informed that he was a Supervisor and released the call without refunding the amount he stated at the begining of the call. He ended the call by telling me "to have a blessesd day". I am also so very frustrated and beyond angry. I'll never trust anything like this again.

I too want to complain about ordering this product AcaiPure from centralcoastnutraceuticals. I canceled after reading how to cancel your order i also found complaints such as why am I still being charged after my order is canceled. I called the next day and canceled by trial order of 4.95. I was sent it anyway, and I returned it. I stayed on the phone for the THRITY MINUTE WAIT to talk to a rep. After I got a return order number, a cancelation confirmation number I thought it was over. I returned the trial order. A month later I'm charged 39.95! I received nothing! I make a complaint with my charge card company. Then another unknown charge shows for 29.95! I call and get the people who charged it on my card...under "education" turns out they said it was connected to the AcaiPure. I never authorized this and it is supposed to be canceled and again I got a cancelation number. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF I'VE EVER SEEN! I have learned I'll never order off the internet again! Please if you have used this site please put your complaint in! Some way we need to stop these RIPOFFS!
