mntlcdzf ibis thurrock booking was for 15th till 18th.
i wrote to ibis explaining of my very stressful and distraught isituation whilst i was staying at your hotel. and i was so shocked to feel that your company was so unsympathetic to what had happened and idd not help me in any way.
i am now writing to ask again in the hope you would reconsider and help me.
we stayed one night at the ibis in thurrock but unfortunately at 1am in the morning i had a phone call to say my sister was gravely ill and we had to leave hoping we would make it in time back to kent to be with her. we left drooping our keys but i was in such a distraught state i could no speak to any one. we did arrive back in kent just in time to see my sister before she past away i am in total shock and really cant come to terms with this sudden loss. i emailed to asked whether due to the nature of why we could not stay the further 2 nights if you would see yourselves to refund the 2 nights we did not stay as i am now having to find every penny i have to try and fund her funeral hence my request. I would be so grateful if you could refund the 2 nights i no this is not the normal thing to do but hoping sue to the nature of my request you would be able to help me. we have always tried and stayed at the ibis as we love the atmosphere and the hotels i would hate for this to ruin our experience of the company.
heres hoping you can honor my refund of £88.00 this may not seem alot to you but when you are having to fund a funeral solely by yourselve every penny counts i no you said we did get our rooms at a very good price however this must be a unique situation which im sure you as such a big company would like to try and help with to continue your good reputation.
Claimed loss: Hopefully a refund of 44.93 x 2
Desired outcome: the above refund back to the account it was paid by
