PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I normally don't write reviews, even when I may have a horrible experience, but they are straight up thieves. We ordered our furniture Feb 2nd of this year and we still don't have it. They told us initially that it was back ordered and we would receive it in April. Well, it's July and we still don't have it. Now they are saying it will be September and if I want a refund, I have to pay the return shipping for the two items of the whole bedroom set that they've already sent. Which I've priced and it could be anywhere from $800 to $1,000. So, they have our $1,500 and they are holding it hostage until we pay that money to get it back. SHAME ON YOU!

I will pray to find peace with this highway robbery, and I know karma will eventually come around. If they try to come on here and deny this or talk around it, I am happy to furnish proof. LIARS!

Desired outcome: Just want a fair outcome. Pay for the return shipping and return our money or gt us our furniture. We don't want anything but what we're due.

STAY AWAY from ACF Wholesale Furniture!

I had a similar experience with this company -- I ordered two pieces of furniture several months ago. They provided a shipment date but never fulfilled the orders. When I called for a status update on my orders they blame the delay on the manufacturer and push back the delivery date another month. Next month, same story... no furniture, shipment date pushed back another month. This continued for several months until I lost patience and cancelled my orders. Currently waiting for my refund.

Have had a similar experience! I was wondering if it was just me! I requested a refund months ago. My account shows “refunded”, but I have yet to receive my money back. Then, trying to get ahold of them by phone is another issue. 2 hour wait time to get through to anyone by phone! Aweful company. Not sure how they can get away with doing business this way. Absolute thieves!

I do not recommend doing business with ACF Wholesale. I ordered a bed in November 2021, and every time I called to find when I would receive my order, I was told It was backordered. Finally in June of 2022 I cancelled the order when I was told I might get it in September 2022. I do not think my money would have been refunded had not my credit card company intervened with the dispute. It took from early June until late August before I received my refund. Now that I have received my money, I will warn anyone who is tempted to do business with them, DO NOT place any orders with them. They are less than honest.

A very disgusted former customer.

Thieves. waited 6 months to find out they don ship to my address. Been waiting on my refund for 3 months and 5 phone calls of being on hold for 2 hours even mins of calling after they open. Filing BBB complain. Next will be taking legal action.

Exact same issues!. Ordered a piece of furniture Aug 4th, 2022. I received an email a week or so later saying that they don't normally deliver in my area (South Florida in Palm Bch county?) and there would be an additional delivery charge to be paid over the phone only on top of the $180 or something I was already paying. Do I want to continue or cancel. I replied I want to cancel and received an email saying I would receive my refund 7-14 days after they contact the manufacturer. The amount was almost $800 USD. Fast forward late August, September and then October and nothing. Countless emails saying we have referred your request to the refund department but were no-reply emails. I called and called the phone number with no one answering, just ringing and ringing.

I threatened to dispute the charge with my CC company, file a report with the BBB, and file a criminal charge with the state's Attorney General's Consumer Complaint division. Still ,I would only receive an auto-reply email saying that your request has been referred to the refund department.

This company is a sham, very unprofessional, bordering on if not criminal. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ACF WHOLESALE/FURNITURE. Scam company with zero integrity or customer/service support. I have filed my CC dispute and provided documentation and I am awaiting some action... October 13th, 2022 and nothing from ACF yet!

I don't like complaining but this one I can't go on any longer without adding. Around August 2021 I placed an order with acf wholesale furniture and it is now October 2022 I haven't heard anything about my order so please, please, please don't go through what me and so many other people are going through or have been through. I will be getting in touch with the better business bureau as soon as possible. This is not a small amount of money and it is hard earned money. "PLEASE BE AWARE"

I had the same thing happen to me. I purchased items from ACF furniture and I was told some were back ordered. When I requested ETA, I received the same message over and over saying it was back ordered from the manufacturer. After a year I requested a refund, and I have not received it. During COVID items were back ordered or delayed, but now that is no longer the case. After reading several complaints on different sites I am posting my complaint also. At this point, I doubt I get my money back considering they must owe so many people from all the complaints I’ve read I seriously doubt they still have the money or ever planned in fulfilling any of the orders in the first place. I saw someone else filed a complaint with the attorney general, I plan on doing the same if I do not receive my money back.

Absolutely the most disgusting, worst experience of a purchase/ refund for lack of service in my lifetime.. they are liars, frauds, theft of money with no item received.. I ordered in May of 2022.. after not receiving my queen bed frame by September 2022.. I finally just asked for my money back.. here we are January 2nd.. 2023.. still nothing after dozens of emails and a complaint to BBB.. they told BBB they were sending a refund in hopes to close out the complaint ( clearly this F rated company has been down this road before) I told BBB I wasn’t willing to close it out until I received my refund… rather than closing my complaint as satisfied.. they will close as lack of response.. I am now going to the attorney general of the state of Mississippi and also to their state business licensing for a complaint.. they are frauds.. no savings is worth not receiving your item.. F- rating zero stars.

I also have been robbed of over $1,300 in furniture not delivered or money refunded. Ordered in 12/2022, cancelled in 1/2023 and up till now nothing but run around. Reported to both BBB and FBI, IC3 disvision.

I now see the website is offline as of 4/20/2023

If anyone knows of any legal action being put together, Please count me in and let me know. Thanks.

I am mad and ready to go. He will try to hide behind his LLC but when you lie and deceive it's null and void. Some of these orders are over a year old. No way any companies will take that long!

Order placed 1/24/2022 they contained to backorder my furniture, on 8/18/2022 I cancelled my order as of today 3/29/2023 I still don't have a refund. I continue to write them monthly asking for my refund.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and this company did not respond to them.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY...

BBB won't help anymore because it's not a business any longer. So you need to file with your state and Mississippi's FTC.

that doesn't mean he'll answer it. But if you do a search for the owner with full name you will find personal emails too. Also, read these complaints. They provided me with information to fight and get my money back!

if he was telling the truth that the refund were denied by our card holders then why didn't he just mail our refund? i can't imagine my bank would say nope you can't put 3000 back in her account.

If for some reason he was telling the truth he didn't use good business pracitices and i hope he learns. He seems shady.

Let's all remember to check owner before we order over $100 online from now on lol. Praying for refunds for everyone.

They owe me $2086.27 and continue to send me emails they are going to issue my refund and it has been over 4 months after waiting 3 months prior to that for my furnished I never received. TOTAL SCAM

Fight for what is yours! I did and didn't let up for 2 months. I deposited my refund yesterday! I am so relived, but still mad at Mr. Moody for all he put me through. I HOPE EVERYONE GETS THEIR MONEY BACK! YOU DESERVE IT!

Purchased an Ashley Maier Sectional and Ottoman Nov 3 2022 to date I have not received it and I have not received the payment in full PAID ON NOV 3, 2022!

First I would call and only get a message and placed on hold, waited as long as 3 hours no one ever picked up! I left messages, I sent emails and tried calling numerous times all to no avail!

The web site is now shut down and the phone I think is disconnected!

I have been told stories of Veterans being taken for a whole house of furniture purchased for thier return from duty for the family to be reunited... NEVER RECEIVED any of thier furniture!

These people all need to go to jail for the hundreds of people they have scammed!

I got tired of dealing with this as well and after 9 months, did research and found out that his wife (Chad Moody) works for a CPA firm. I emailed her on that email address that you see attached below. In 2 weeks I had a refund check show up in mail. It’s unreal how he has been able to continue to do this and NO one has done anything about it. I hope this may help whoever….

I have been emailing back and forth with him. He threatened me today and wrote a cease and desist letter. LOL I know legally I'm not doing anything wrong. It's not slander or harassment if it's true and it is. If you can dispute it you may get your money, but probably not. i am filing a small claims in his county. Use all the addresses above and email everyone involved in this. THey promised me a refund months ago and kept not doing it. I call that a lie---don't you. UNTRUTH that's what a lie is. I'm not scared of him and if he does the same to you you don't be either..

I wanted to update you all that I was successful in getting my dispute resolved in my favor from Discover Card. I encourage all of you to continue to make noise with the MS attorney general and please try to reopen any credit card dispute cases that have been denied if possible. I was able to use the notice ACF posted on the Better Business ureau website announcing their closure and their dispute policy as evidence - see below. I believe that helped. ACF Wholesale had 30 days to deny the dispute (which may vary depending on your credit card issuer) and didn't respond to Discover. I will keep monitoring this company/All of Benjamin "Chad" Moody's scams and their

shenanigans because I want to see all of you refunded!

I thank you SO much! I never let up on Mr Benjamin Chad MOody for a minute once I found out he closed doors and never told me. I was determined to get my money back. I know it was because I started emailing Mr. Perkins (he never answered). I emailed Ms. Hope Moody everyday. Then Mr. Moody started emailing me. He took my summer away from me and I wasn't going to let up. I told him I would go away if he gave me my money back. He did. I won't bother him again, but I will help (and have been) anyone anyway i can to get their money back too. I would have already had a small claims filed but I was called out of town and my check was there when I got back. I was happy. I am praying everyone gets their money back too. THANK YOU again :)

They are a complete scam. You need to file claims immediately with the following:

BBB

File claim with FBI

File claim with State of MS, that's the state they operate out of.

File claim with Fed Trade Comm

File claim with State you live in

File claim with the bank you used to pay for the product.

File claim on Trustpilot.com

File review on Facebook.

File a complaint here on complaintsboard.com.

It is quick and easy to File these claims.

We need to come together and sue!

I have done a ton of research on this company and know who they are and where they live and what other businesses they are using to con people with.

I did so a few weeks ago have not heard anything but I'm guessing there are getting inundated with complaints about this thief. I got my money back! I did not give up! I emailed daily and emailed all the friends and family lol. Thanks to you adding this info I was able to get ahold of him. He never signed his name, but I know it was him... Mr. ACF lol. I am so happy! I was owed 2,800 plus. My happiness is not as joyful because I spent my whole summer trying to get my money back and the fact that he owes so many more people and I want them to have their money back too. Dear Scammednmad123 please email me I have suggestions. I am praying everyone gets their money back and Mr. Moody is successful in building a Christian business.

Contact Mississippi State's Attorney. I did and they said unless a lot of complaints are sent to them, they will not pursue this as a class action suit. I encourage everyone to email davina.patton@ago.ms.gov and let her know that you have been scammed. Unless everyone follows through with this, nothing will get accomplished.

Please listen and contact Mississippi state attorney and your state attorney. He keeps saying all you have to do is file a dispute. I did but my bank said it was too long of a period. He’s probably lying because why wouldn’t they just issue you a refund. He will try to hide behind LLC business. He can’t if he promised a refund, he kept telling you it was coming, and any other lies told.
