Tom Brooks and Alyssa Heitman are FRAUDS! They are running fraudulent businesses and scamming innocent companies in Milwaukee and Chicago, demanding up front fees from clients in order to "refinance loans." You can do a search under their former names:

iCapital Banc
iBanc Investments
Chicago Commercial Capital
Visions Business Solutions

There are probably more. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANY UP FRONT FEES.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Funny how Alyssa Heitman doesn't assume responsibility, though she is legally partnered with Mr. Brooks and has a business card that says "Loan Processor" that I retreived from iCapital Banc. Ms. Heitman, you are telling me that you do not agree with Mr. Brook's business practices, though you are also his fiancee, and mother of his children?

My name is Mark and I am President of The Best Western Hotel in Illinois. I am a new client of American Investments and I am working directly with Mr. Tom Brooks, President & CEO of his company. I wanted to write a note here to inform everyone that Mr. Tom Brooks is working with our organization to obtaining financing. Mr. Brooks have several Lenders who are eager to work with our Hotel organization an we are communicating with these lenders directly and we are very much happy and ecited of what they are offering us for our Commercial Mortgage Loan request. So Mr. Brooks, I wanted you to know as your valued client, please keep up the good work and your company will be successful by helping business owners like The Best Western Hotel. And I don't mind paying fees for your expertise and helping us prepare our loan packages for lenders. We paid fees as well to our local banks for many years and this isn't a new thing for our business.

We understand that sometimes you will not employee wright people in your company that just don't work out for one reason or another and they take out their frustration on the company and not on their ownself. We had many situations like that too, so keep up the great job Mr. Brooks and good luck!

Ok Mark. If you are the president of the Best Western Hotel "in Illinios, " you obvisously have no English skills. Employee is a noun where you meant to use the verb "employ, " and "wright" should have been spelled R-I-G-H-T. Hmmm. Tom Brooks doesn't know how to spell either. Anyone see the similarities?

I agree with the complaints. I'm an ex employee as well, and I didn't see a single loan get closed.

Tom Brooks stopped paying his employees and owes a LOT of people money. He and Alyssa claim that his ex-employees are just pissed off over random stuff. Well, Tom guarantees people loans, gets people to give him $1, 500-$2, 000 in upfront fees, and never can close out the loans. The people who are guaranteed loans are willing to give up the money in order to keep their companies in business. BUT...there aren't any loans. People with credit scores in the 500's with no collateral should not be guaranteed a loan. Tom is that weasel to do it just to take their money.

Do NOT fall for his scam!

If anyone else is mad...go to his real office at 912 E. Wright St. Milwaukee, WI 53212. He lives there as well (so feel free to stop by late at night). The address listed for American Investments is phony. Knock on the door and see how he tries to talk his way out of trouble.

Hello to all :) This is me Alyssa and am getting really sick and tired of being blamed for Mr. Brooks actions. How he runs his business is his business I am not in his business PEORID! So, to all of those anonymous respondents if you are so exact about what you are proclaiming then why is it you DON'T reveal your identity? To me it seems you are the weasel. You can TRY to ruin someone else's reputation and not want your self to be addressed. So, who is the real coward? Yes, like you stated I said it was angry ex-employee such as your self making remarks like this. Let me ask you this WHY IS IT WHEN YOU ARE A CURRENT EMPLOYEE YOU DON'T MAKE SUCH REMARKS? Who ever you are I didn't do anything to you. So, please leave my name out of your vocabulary. Thank you!

I use to work for Mr.Brooks down town Chicago when he had the office for chicago Commercial Capital. I was a single mother of three, hard working and brought in business. I worked for the company for over a month. Six weeks to be exact. After 2 weeks we were suppose to recieve a check for our two weeks. I was suppose to be $1458. Our salary was $35, 000. We recieved $200 and he said that was for our training and that our salary will be on our check in two weeks. Now the $200 was on a personal check. I took the check because obviously I have kids and bills. Then a month went by and I finally asked for my check and I didn't get my money. Money I worked hard for. I cryed because I am a single mother and I took a train for 4 hours a day and worked for 8 hours and my hard work didn't pay off. He fired me once I asked for my money. By the time I was fired our whole team of employees have already been fired weeks prior. My name is Cristy Merced and I was scammed for hard work and no money. So if any one has a problem with what I have said PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH YOUR ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER and I'll personally call you.

Mr Brooks can't even pay his own loans make sure to go to wisconsin circuit court access and look up Thomas H Brooks. Oh and don't forget to google Rod Tinsley in Denver. Same scam artist. If you are not a scammer Tom why do you have multiple names? His phone number is [protected]. Also you can find him on the following sites. Basically he has operated under TI Funding in Denver as well. Thomas and Alyssa I hope your life on the run is fun and for your two beautiful young children, they are screwed for life cause you two scums of the earth. At the vary least stop creating children. It will be hard to raise them behind bars and what are you going to tell them when they are older. I'm sorry to all the other people out there who get screwed by him. He will go by T Brooks or Rod Tinsley or Thomas or Robert or Rob or Tom or Whatever it is you will lose!

I worked for Tom Brooks in Milw.
I worked for him for 10 days before I quit.
I never saw one loan close, he was completely disorganized, didn't remember what or where he was telling his employees to go and couldn't speak (much less spell) proper english.
I didn't trust him and I told him that to his face before I walked out.
I did however receive close to my full pay. I did have to tell him that I was going to report him directly to the Wisconsin department of employment AND that my sister is a partner at a huge local law firm which allowed me a free attorney for any case that I would file.
I suggest going to all of the above links and looking at Mr. Brooks reputation yourself.

I came aboard Union Business Solutions in September 2009 because the offer Tom put my way looked good. After a week he started back tracking and by the end of week two I had had enough of his double talk.. He owed me two weeks pay (which I have little faith in ever receiving) and avoids my calls. He didn't even have a business license (requirement in Chicago). I knew his lies were too good to be true but I fell for it, hook, line and sinker. I would like to run into him again just to show him how happy I am for him.. Thanks for this info..

I fell for him, too, in September 2009. I worked for him for 2 weeks and realized this guy was a JOKE. 4 other people also realized the same thing, and we all walked out on him in the same afternoon. Totally unorganized, talks in circles, backtracks, and does not use proper English. You owe me $1500 for my working for two weeks. I'm so mad I fell for you, I could just spit.
