Dear AIESEC,
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience as a member of your organization in MXP. I joined AIESEC five months ago with the hope of gaining valuable experience and contributing positively to the community. Initially, my experience was positive; I was diligent in my tasks and always ensured they were completed before the deadline.
However, over time, I noticed a lack of communication from the team. My messages went unanswered, and there were periods where there was no communication at all. I missed an event due to circumstances beyond my control and provided a valid excuse for my absence. Despite this, my account was placed under probation without any explanation or response to my messages.
Further, I encountered personal circumstances that prevented me from submitting a form on time. Instead of understanding and support, I received a dismissal letter. Throughout my membership, I was removed from the group multiple times without any explanation, despite being an active member.
The AIESEC regulations state that after receiving a warning, a meeting should be arranged with the team leader or VP. Unfortunately, this did not happen in my case. I provided my reasons and excuses, yet I was placed under probation for my first mistake and subsequently dismissed.
This is not my first complaint about my experience with AIESEC. I had raised concerns two years ago, hoping for improvements. However, it seems the issues persist.
I am deeply disappointed with the AIESEC community, which I believed to be a friendly and peaceful environment. Instead, I found it to be unresponsive and dismissive. The decision to dismiss me was frustrating and felt unjust.
In respect of the name policy, I have refrained from mentioning any specific individuals. I hope that you will reconsider your decision and provide a more just resolution. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards, Karim
Desired outcome: Requesting AIESEC to review my case, reconsider dismissal, and improve communication. Desire fair investigation, reinstatement, and positive contribution to the community.
