Aizon. ai/Bigfinite laid off most of the US team on August 4, 2022. It has now been almost a month and I am unable to collect unemployment to pay my bills and feed my family.
The PEO/Payroll company they use, TriNet, claims that Aizon never filed with the state of NJ. The state of NJ says the company is 8 quarters behind. Aizon continues to blame TriNet and TriNet continues to blame Aizon. One of my former colleagues had to call them every single day to get COBRA medical benefits for his wife. We are wondering if there is some illegality going on here.
We were supposed to be able to file today, 8/26/22, but we are still not in the system. There is no one answering the phones at the NJ Department of Labor/Unemployment Office. So we are stuck between 3 organizations that are pointing fingers at each other while we are the ones made to suffer.
If you are able to help by shining a light on these misdeeds, we would be very grateful. Thank you for your time.
Desired outcome: Ability to file for unemployment and collect 4 weeks backpay of my benefits.
