Alfa Travel Ltd review: Room from hell

I booked a coach holiday to the monarch hotel in Bridlington with ALFA travel on the 23rd of July 2024 on my arrival I was allocated room 403 when I walked in I felt sick wallpaper was hanging off the TV had no power button and one of the panels at the side of the TV was missing exposing wires, and it was full of dust when I went into the bathroom I almost cried of what I found the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in yrs it was black inside the bowl the shower curtain was hanging on what looked like a piece of wire the hot tap was thick with yrs of lime scale the cold water tap looked like it had been replaced with a new one because it was entirely different style to the hot water tap they were odd taps the heated towel rail in the bathroom was taped up with tape around the electrics around the bathroom window was thick yellow muck and the bathroom door had not one bit of varnish left on it was all moldy when I showed other guests my room they couldn't believe I was in the same hotel ALFA advertise on their website for the monarch hotel Bridlington we pride ourselves on delivering consistently high standards throughout our hotels clean rooms good quality decor bright modern bathrooms and attention to the small details that make all the difference to your stay this is stated about the accommodation at the monarch hotel in Bridlington that is certainly not correct in this case I will never travel with ALFA again
