Allstate Identity Protection is a total mess!
Allstate Identity Protection is a total mess! They keep deleting or losing my account info without even telling me about it. And to make matters worse, they've raised the price by almost double! I demand a refund for all the months they didn't have my info, except for my payment details. It's just not right!
I been tryin' for like 2-3 months to get my account reset so I can log in and check my account status, credit score, and any alerts
I been tryin' for like 2-3 months to get my account reset so I can log in and check my account status, credit score, and any alerts. I done spent so many hours on the phone with different folks and ain't nobody helpin' me out. I done sent so many emails and ain't gettin' no support or help!
I paid for this service from Allstate, my employer
I paid for this service from Allstate, my employer. When I got laid off, I got an email saying: "Service cancelled. Your identity protection service has been cancelled right away. So, we won't watch over your identity anymore. No notice or a chance to sign up again or anything. I tried logging into my account to remove my info but couldn't. I called the 800 number and talked to a rep who said my info has been "archived and will be deleted after some time". That doesn't make me feel too safe.
I got this protection and two weeks after, I still hadn't received any alerts
I got this protection and two weeks after, I still hadn't received any alerts. But I got several alerts from my free credit monitoring (offered by credit cards). It makes me wonder what they're doing! Also, in order to cancel, you have to send an email. You can't just cancel with a click of a button like when signing up and providing your payment information. I sent a cancel email with my ID #, DOB, and last 4 digits. They sent an email back with *** # and said they needed more information! And when I called, guess what information they wanted? My ID #, DOB, and last 4 digits! I had to go through 3 people, all trying to upsell, and one very rude representative! Stay away from this service!
This service is useless
This service is useless. They texted and emailed me, saying my address and additional member had been changed (which I didn't do). But when I tried to get into my account, it wouldn't work. The password reset options didn't work either, and I tried several times. I sat on hold for 40 minutes, three separate times, and each time I got disconnected with no response. Now, when I try to get into my account, it says I've tried too many times and tells me to wait and call customer service. What a joke. When I can actually get into my account, I'm dropping them. Their customer service is horrible. They don't even have a chat option for customer service. Don't use this service.
Allstate Identity Protection didn't alert me about anything
Allstate Identity Protection didn't alert me about anything. I thought I was covered, but it turns out I was being ripped off by the bad guys online, while Allstate, the supposed protectors of my credit and identity, did nothing. They don't monitor anything, I can assure you of that. If you call them, they'll make excuses and act annoyed that you're bothering them. Don't get this service. There's too much identity theft happening, and it only benefits these companies that deceive you with false advertising, making you believe you're covered when you're not. They can get away with the fine print, but if we all stop using them and tell others to do the same, they won't be able to continue their shady practices.
I've had this service for a few years now and honestly, it hasn't been very helpful
I've had this service for a few years now and honestly, it hasn't been very helpful. But recently, they sent me an email about a new option to scan my Digital Footprint. They claim that they'll create a report by searching the internet for my personal information. Sounds a bit invasive if you ask me. So, I decided to give it a try and create the report for my digital footprint. The system asked me to link it with one of my email accounts, and since I have Gmail, I went ahead and linked it, granting Allstate Digital Footprint default access. However, I kept getting an error saying that Allstate couldn't connect to my account. I called customer service and they told me that I needed to log out of Gmail on all my devices (phones, tablets, PCs)... Seriously?! So, it seems like Allstate isn't just connecting to Gmail to verify my account. They're doing a whole lot more. And once I log back in, they can monitor and track all my activities. That's not just a report of my current digital footprint, that's a violation of my privacy!

I called Allstate Identity Protection/InfoArmor on 1/15 and clearly told them I didn't wanna renew my subscription and asked them to cancel
I called Allstate Identity Protection/InfoArmor on 1/15 and clearly told them I didn't wanna renew my subscription and asked them to cancel it. But they still charged me $18.99 for renewing my subscription on 1/23. Dealing with this company is so annoying. They just wanna charge their customers even when they don't really need their services. It's so frustrating!
In the fall of 2020, my boss started giving us the chance to get All-State Identity Protection *** as a benefit
In the fall of 2020, my boss started giving us the chance to get All-State Identity Protection *** as a benefit. They take the money straight from our paychecks. They gave us some papers to explain what we get, and a lot of it seemed like stuff we already had. But they talked up their *** that's supposed to keep an eye on our email addresses all the time. They had two plans to pick from - one for just me and one for my whole family. The family one cost twice as much. But here's the thing, they never told us in the papers or on their website that even if we got the family plan, only one person (and one email address) could get the constant monitoring. They even tell us on our account page that it's a good idea to add more email accounts for better protection. But the truth is, they only let us have one email address for the whole family. They tricked us with their lies.
I signed up for a free trial in late January
I signed up for a free trial in late January. I messaged them on their website to cancel about a week before the trial ended. I was then in another country for 2 weeks. A few weeks later, I noticed that I was still being charged. I messaged them again on their site. The same thing happened the next month. There is no option to cancel on their website. Last week, I tried to call and was told that they tried to call me once when I was in *** (my phone was in airplane mode for 2 weeks). The lady who told me this said she couldn't cancel and I needed to be transferred to another department. After being on hold for 45 minutes, I hung up because I had to go to work. I leave home at 6am and get home at 7pm from Monday to Friday. I have sent 3 messages and called once. The messages are on the website and not in email format. I messaged them to return the money for the 4 months of service that I canceled, which cost *** each month. I have even disputed the payments with my bank for the last 2 months. I would like the service to be canceled and the money refunded immediately.

I bought your fraud protection services from my company ***
I bought your fraud protection services from my company ***. Your website and software for detecting new fingerprints is so buggy and awful. I get emails from you telling me to review my digital footprint. I go to your website, and it takes forever to load new digital footprints that it detects. And when it finally loads, all the green dots (the new digital footprints) are gone, so I have no idea what new info your software has detected. (I have 1000 mb internet and I'm not using wifi, so it's not an internet speed issue. It's an issue with your company's software). This happens over and over again. I've called customer service to complain before, and all your company can tell me is that there's no way to find out which new digital footprints your system has detected once the green dots are gone. They can't do anything on their end to look it up later in their computers. And supposedly the next system that you plan on rolling out is much better. I don't want to wait for the next system when this one doesn't work. I want my money back. I'm paying for a service that doesn't even work and has so many issues and glitches that you guys can't offer any solutions for.
