Amber Roofing, Russ & Amber Ultes review: Poor Workmanship

I am posting this complaint in regards to Russell Ultes and Amber Skelton Ultes who operate a roofing business named, Amber Roofing a Florida corporation. I would highly advice anyone doing business with these individuals proceed in investigating all the companies over the last few years Russ Ultes has operated. He has operated numerous roofing companies at his Tampa, Florida residence (4521 W. Fig Street), which is in foreclosure. This man and his wife have operated a company in South Carolina called Precision Roofing, which the Better Business Bureau has revoked this companies membership. They also have operated a company called, US Roofing Systems in Charlotte, North Carolina and that BBB membership has been revoked too! Upon doing some additional research there has been numerous complaints on Mr. Ultes collecting deposits and payments from homeowners and utiliziing poor grade material and illegal workers to cut his cost. Now, this is probably the reason why he has operated over ten different roofing companies (all you need to do is check with the Secretary of State in Florida). We contracted him to install our roof and once he received the full amount and failed to honor any warranty. So its no wonder with poor workmanship, material and the was this man businesses have had its memberships revoked by all the Better Business Bureaus in cities he operates. I have read online that Russ Ultes has had numerous problems with strip clubs and drugs - but you'll need to do your own homework. Make sure you investigate this man in full before you give him any money.
