Adoption broker
I am writing this complaint against angel adoption agency which is not an adoption agency which is only a broker. I am a birthmother replace my child up for adoption seven years ago. This agency has no concern for the birth motheris only out for money I was totally take advantage of by them. I was told nothing but lies they could care less about you. Please if your prospective parent or birth parent please be aware of their unscrupulous practices. They will live to get whatever they want I was told that the adopt a family would be supporting me as of April they told the doctor family they didn't need to support me until September my baby was born in November. He lied about his they also told me that if I had nowhere to stay I could go to a homeless shelter. All they care about how much money they make they pretend to be a small agency but don't let that fool you they don't care about you.after my son was born I am never even received a phone call asking how I was.they lied about my sons nationality thank you caucasian when he was happy 1/2 Hispanic I reported them to the Better Business Bureau but I guess they have them paid off I was promised I would be able to see my son twice a year I believe seen him twice in the past seven years I do not receive pictures which I was also promise I promise it was open adoption which it wasn't. I was totally taken advantage of you I was going to for us to Bearesti depression which they could care less about the provided no aftercare which they received over $11, 000 from the adoptive parents. They are not adoption agency they are adoption broker in other words is another word for baby seller which in most other terms would be illegal but I guess they found their way for the loopholes. So please beware of them the because their predators and prey on the most defenseless people who were at the most-lowest point in their life. I am not for abortion but the mental and physical damage they did to me would've been a better choice.which I'm stuck dealing with the rest of my life.it's really sad that they're getting away with this babysitting should be a crime especially trying to claim there an agency.

There are two other complaints at the site referenced above, and most helpful to others reviewing on this company. I believe there may be more complaints filed this year (soon), as others are finding this 'broker' to be taking advantage of individuals (and couples) during sometimes difficult and vulnerable stages in their lives; not following through as expected, high employee turn-over, limited on clear expectations and support, etc.
My personal experience is with a close family member, and I'm encouraging them to take action; however, with all the hurts, disappointments and challenges at this time... they don't feel anyone will listen or act (I think there are others out there... and if people ban together on complaints and poor actions of this 'broker', maybe there could be change or better contacts or hold them accountable for taking advantage of people... something to change their current business practices). I wish I had money for a strong, knowledgeable lawyer on these matters of adoption and brokerage companies.
