Angel & Liz Gutierrez owners of DKV Rottweiler sold us a sick puppy. We notified them 2 days later of picking up the puppy and they blamed it on traveling, new sounds, new environment. We even told them that the sire grandfather died of a heart condition, and the vet admitted to not providing proper medical care. They refused to issue us a refund and claimed they made us an offer. We have filed a lawsuit, and they have lied, bullied and made false statements. We have filed a formal complaint with the State of Georgia, and Federal Government as well.

Everything that Angel & Liz Gutierrez is stating above is a complete utter lie. To prove my point, I have shared all email correspondence from Nancy Goodman, Esq. (DKV Rottweiler attorney) and myself, and the contract - general settlement. see below and attached document.

My clients have withdrawn their offer of settlement.

Henry County does have a limit to the number of pets someone can own. When people think “pets” they generally think of our department, but the number of pets you may own actually falls under the County’s Planning and Zoning Department. In the County’s Unified Land Development Code (ULDC), “pets” are defined as “a tame animal kept for companionship or pleasure.” The number of adult domestic pets that can reside at any residence in our County, regardless of how their property is zoned, is four (4). Property owners that have property zoned RA (residential/agricultural) who wish to own more than this number are required to obtain a Conditional Use from the Planning and Zoning Department for a “non-commercial kennel.” If a conditional use is approved, the maximum number of adult domestic pets allowed is ten (10). Additionally there are supplemental standards that are applicable for all non-commercial kennels.

- email from Code Enforcement Agency (see attached) DKV was issued a $900.00 fine for having too many animals on their property without proper permits. As stated above the "Property owners that have property zoned RA (residential/agricultural) who wish to own more than this number are required to obtain a Conditional Use from the Planning and Zoning Department for a “non-commercial kennel.” Angel & Liz Guttierrez house was not zoned RA they are zoned as "R" district (see attached document).

Ms. DiGerolamo,

They were written citations for court. They paid a $900 fine to court prior to the court date. They are applying for the proper paperwork. The case is closed in this office.

Thank you,

Pam Taylor,

Later that week, Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera brought Triton to their vet in Bronx, NY and the vet did hear a heart murmur in Triton. -- We took Triton to our vet exactly less than 48 hours after picking him up at their house.

Let's be clear and I will be happy to provide additional supporting documents that I never claimed to be a neighbor. I have always stated and proved to the federal, state and local agency that I was filing a complaint and calling from NY. All complaints was done via email, I will be happy to provide anyone with the inspectors information and have shared this false allegations with them as well as their attorneys as well. With respect to the claim with paypal, I stated and again can provide proof that DKV SOLD US A SICK PUPPY WITH A CONGENITAL HEART MURMUR. NOT ONLY HAVE THEY DONE THIS TO US, THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO SEVERAL OTHER FAMILIES AS WELL. THEIR NAMES HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES AND I AM CONFIDENT THEY HAVE PROVIDED A SIGNED AFFIDAVIT AS WELL.

Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera have reported DKV Rottweilers to the state of Georgia, the department of Agriculture, and the humane society, to name a few. DKV Rottweilers home and dogs were inspected numerous times by different agencies. After passing each inspection, DKV Rottweilers was informed that a report was called in by Ms. Debbie (DiGerolamo) claiming to be a neighbor of DKV Rottweilers and reported there were many dogs in poor condition. Our code enforcement officer believed Ms. DiGerolamo's dog had died 48 hours after she received him and DKV Rottweilers refused to help. These are the caliber of lies that were provided by Ms. DiGerolamo. This week, Ms. DiGerolamo also put claims on her online payment transactions, made several months ago, stating she had never authorized those payments. Again, more lies and the claims were eventually denied.

1 - you are incorrect. According to Henry County Zoning Ordinance and Animal Control your house is not zone properly. Your house is zoned in a R district and should be in a RA zoned. What demand did I give? Show proof... We know that DKV ARE LIARS. I HAVE PROVED IT IN SO MANY INCIDENTS. SHOULD I CONTINUE TO SHOW DOCUMENTS. I didn't accept or you guys rescinded?
I have no issues with the signing the document, however there is an existing investigation going on prior to this document or you being involved. Secondly, they would have to fully agree not to defamed my name, my husband name and/or anything affiliated with us.

JESSICA ON 10 JULY 2018 COMMENTED ABOUT DKV ROTTWEILERS https://repdigger.com/reviews/dkv-rottweilers/comment/30717
We bought our Rottweiler in 2011 from DKV. He was diagnosed with degenerative hip dysplasia. He also has been EXTREMELY aggressive since the day we brought him home. After going through 5 trainers we finally found one who could help us. She trains DEA dogs for the police. She explained that this dog cannot be trusted but we can “manage” him.
We’ve shared this info with DKV since day 1. In the beginning, they never responded to our emails or phone calls asking for guidance. It finally took me putting all of the details up on their Facebook page for them to respond...to which their response was astounding. They claimed that we didn’t buy our dog through them (so I shared on their Facebook page all of our PayPal receipts as well as all of our email communications with Angel). Angel was extremely confrontational and rude.
We would NEVER recommend this breeder to anyone...EVER! DKV ROTTWEILERS REVIEWS
DKV ROTTWEILERS's reputation score is 53%, which is average.

Something seemed extremely fishy about this breeder from the very beginning. Problems with contacting them, avoiding questions, refusing to give the phone numbers to other buyers... My insticts were right! I don't think this breeder should be trusted.

Customers Remark: I have made a down payment on a Rottweiler puppy (2nd pick) from DKV Rottweilers and when the due date came around we were notified by the breeder that dog had a falls pregnancy. Our hearts were broken since we waited such a long time for a puppy.

Breeder Response: This is correct. Eldin did reserve the 2nd pick male out of a confirmed breeding. Unfortunately, our female had complications and we did not have a live litter. In regards to the wait time, Eldin reserved the first week of October and the news was provided the fourth week of October. This is not a long time as I have people on a year long waiting list for male puppies. As a courtesty of being a return customer, I allowed Eldin to skip our waiting list.

Customers Remark: When we made a call to the breeder to get his resolution to the issue and just to ask couple of questions, i was told that he does not understand why he had to explain himself over and over since it was a falls pregnancy and that there is nothing he needs to explain to me.

Breeder Response: When I returned home from the vet with the disappointing news, my first reaction was to have my wife contact each and every customer. My wife wrote a detailed email explaining everything that happened. In this same email, my wife explained that we had another litter due in two weeks and all of our reserved customers would have first priority to this breeding. So, every customer would still end up with the same pick, or better, from our new litter with the same father stud. This will allow for a similar bloodline pup and a timeline that would be almost identical to the original litter. After Eldin read his email, he called me and asked about the litter we lost. Like I said above, I just returned from the vet. I was clearly upset over the loss myself and the fact that my buyers would be inconvenienced. I knew everything had just finished being expained by my wife and I was clearly upset myself over the news. I think Eldin took this way to personal. This was not a reaction to him but to the disappointing news I just received less than an hour earlier.

Customers Remark: Only thing he told me is that he needs to take care of the client with the first pick puppy and made me feel like my $3000 was not worth his time!

Breeder Response: Again, this is a complete misunderstanding of my words. Since Eldin had reserved the 2nd pick male, I had to speak to my 1st pick male customer first. I have always kept everything fair. I needed to speak to my 1st pick customer first to see if he would like to be transferred to the next breeding or if he preferred to wait for a repeat breeding of the original litter. This decision would affect Eldin because it would determine if he would be able to have the 2nd pick male from my new litter, or if he would be upgraded to the 1st pick male puppy from my new litter. This statement in no way was meant to insult Eldin or his importance.

Customers Remark: After this conversation I was very disappointed and disrespected as a clint of his.

Breeder Response: Eldin reserved a puppy from our kennel back in 2014. Eldin agreed to purchase a puppy and we continued with the purchase up until the puppies were almost ready to leave to their new homes. When we were making final arrangements, Eldin decided to back out of the purchase due to personal reasons of his own. Because I sympathized with his position, I agreed to refund his money. Payments to reserve a puppy are non-refundable. This is a policy with almost all breeders. This is stated on our website, our litter page, our purchase price page, our online payment page, our contract page, even on the invoice that the customers receive. This deposit will remain a credit until the customer is ready for a puppy again. However, I still decided to refund Eldin's money as a courtesy. This is why Eldin returned back to our kennel three years later to do business again because we went out of our way for him and treat our customers well.

Customers Remark: I decied to send him an email requesting my deposit back due to his service failure. I have sent an email requesting the deposit back on 11/02/2017 and up to this date never recieved email reply!

Breeder Response: My wife replied to his email the very next day. We do receive a large amount of emails each day so sometimes we are unable to respond the same day. However, my wife did respond the very next day by email.

Customer Remark: We wanted to get a puppy by Christmas like i was originaly promised by DKV Rottweilers. I have not yet received email or phone call back from DKV Rottweilers on resolution to his service failure. I understand falls pregnancies do happen but being professional as he claims to be is far fetched. In my opinion this breeder is out there to get your money and would not recomend anybody dealing with this unkind human / breeder.

Breeder Response: This statement is 100% false and Eldin's attempt to slander my name. Not only did we explain that we had a second litter for him the same day we received the bad news on Oct 30th, my wife also reiterated this again when she resonded to his email on November 3rd. We not only provided Eldin a second litter that was of equal quality, if not better, the litter even had the same parent. On top of that, this new litter was going to be due only 2 weeks later than the original. Last, Eldin had an opportunity to receive the 1st pick male since my 1st pick customer went with another puppy I had for sale. I do not understand how he can call me an unkind human when I have helped him out three years ago by returning his money, I helped him out this year by allowing him to skip our waiting list so he could get a puppy by Christmas, and I helped him out by allowing him to receive a higher pick. I have been more than generous to Eldin.

Customer Remark: Fortunatelly we have found a great Rottweiler breeder in Olney, IL named Kevin (Washburn Farms)one of the most honest and kind breeders out there. Strongly recomended! God bless you and be safe from unprofessional and dishonest breeders out there.

Breeder Response: I am happy that Eldin found someone he trusts. However, I would be curious to find out how any breeder would respond if Eldin decided to back out last minute, request money back, and then continue to write negative comments on the internet in the attempt to slander their business reputation that took 22 years to earn. I am also shocked that Eldin would call me dishonest when he had the audacity to offer me more money to move his spot from 2nd pick male to 1st pick male. He knew my entire litter was reserved by return customers but he still asked me to drop another customer who waited longer than him so he could get the best pick. I told Eldin I could not accept money to do something so dishonest to another customer. This clearly shows him as the dishonest one in this business transaction. In the end, this is a lesson learned and a blessing in disguise. I think I am better off not selling to Eldin.

Catilitan Debbie DiGerolamo and Angel Rivera did purchase a Rottweiler puppy "Triton" from DKV Rottweilers. DKV Rottweilers did bring Triton to the vet. The licensed vet did a full health check, heart exam, and fecal test. Triton was determined healthy and was issued a health certificate. Believing Triton was 100% healthy, DKV Rottweilers allowed Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera to pick up Triton from their home in GA.

Later that week, Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera brought Triton to their vet in Bronx, NY and the vet did hear a heart murmur in Triton. DKV Rottweilers did tell Ms. DiGerolamo she could return Triton, to which she strongly refused. DKV Rottweilers then offered to allow Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera to keep Triton and also receive a replacement puppy from an upcoming litter. This offer was rejected. However, they did request additional funds for pain and suffering, future vet bills, and even asked for DKV Rottweilers stud. DKV Rottweilers then had their lawyer write up an official offer allowing Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera to keep Triton and also receive a full payment in the amount of $3500.00. Ms. DiGerolamo responded to DKV Rottweilers lawyer and stated she would only sign the offer if it stated that DKV Rottweilers would not sue Catilitan Debbie DiGerolamo or Angel Rivera. DKV Rottweilers lawyer questioned the concern and it was explained that Ms. DiGerolamo had made multiple "FALSE" reports to multiple agencies about DKV Rottweilers. This was not a negotiation but an offer, to which Mr. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera refused because it was not enough, once again.

Please understand, DKV Rottweilers was willing to work with Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera when they were first notified of Triton's heart murmur. The claims of DKV Rottweilers intentionally selling a sick puppy is false since the puppy was issued a health certificate by a licensed veterinarian. DKV Rottweilers even spoke to the NY doctor who administered Triton's echo and that doctor stated specifically, "the first echo is only a prognosis, the second echo in six months will provide a diagnosis". Even in his report he states, "the prognosis is not accurate at this time". Regardless, the murmur was never questioned and DKV Rottweilers never denied any request to replace or refund. The offers made were simply never enough.

Ms. DiGerolamo and Mr. Rivera have worked very hard to destroy the well respected reputation of DKV Rottweilers. In the process, they have also destroyed a business, many individual Rottweilers, a family home, and a family of 5. To have the desire to destroy one's livelihood, as well as the children in the household, takes an extremely cold-hearted individual in our opinion. This is why DKV Rottweilers felt it was important to state their side of the story and warn people of these two individuals, Ms. Catilitan Debbie DiGerolamo and Angel Rivera.

This is a complete utter lie, DKV fid Not issue us a refund. I can provide proof. Everything that DKV is stating is a LIE. If anyone would like proof i will be happy to show them. Including reports from the federal, state and local governments. Capt. Bratton issued you a fine because of your zoning and selling live animals without proper licensing and permits. Henry County ordinances only allow 10 dogs for breeders and 4 dogs as pers. Not only have you done this to me, you have done this to others. You never spoke with our cardiologist, stop lying! We shall see you in court.

#1) You are incorrect about DKV Rottweilers not having a conditional use. DKV Rottweilers has had a conditional use allowing up to 20 dogs since 2006. The system was updated in 2009 so the file was not initially found when you made your false reports since the new system did not go back that far.

#2) You are incorrect about DKV Rottweilers not offering you a refund. DKV Rottweilers did make a formal offer for you to keep Triton and receive $3500.00 but you did not accept since you had more demands.

#3) You are incorrect about the investigations. The investigations were all completed and passed and it was explained that Debbie made the false reports and wasted the time of several agencies.

#4) You are incorrect about DKV Rottweilers not speaking to your doctor. DKV Rottweilers did speak to your doctor in regards to Triton. It was also explained to DKV Rottweilers that your specialist was a mobile vet who comes into the office on occasion to perform the echos.

#5) You are incorrect that you withdrew your payments because of your dog. PayPal clearly stated to DKV Rottweilers on the phone and posted on their account that you claimed the payments were "not authorized" by you.

He sold me a sick puppy back in 2012 from the litter born on Feb 11, 2012! I picked up E-Gunner Von Der Korperkraft up from the airport and less then 48hrs I was rushing him to the hospital. Come to find out he had Distemper Parvo! I called and talked to Angel and his response was I’ve never heard such a thing. He had the nerve to tell me he must have got it from where I live in Northern Michigan! Sorry Angel but like I told you the vet told me it takes up to 2 weeks to show any signs not 48hrs. He was sick for some time before I picked him up from the airport and he was in the hospital for a week because of this! The Vet from North Country Veterinary Services who is very well known around here saved my dogs life because of your neglect and lies. He told me it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. Thank god I had money at the time otherwise he would have died!
