I purchased a 3 month 3000 mile warranty from them that was there deluxe option with a commercial add on since this was going to be my business truck for $800.00.
I drove the truck 90 miles home Thursday 3/13/2025. On 3/14/2025 changed the engine oil and filter, Fuel filters x 2, and air cleaner.
The truck ran fine and was ready for our first trip to Chicago 680 miles round trip Tuesday 3/18/25.
We arrived to our stops in Chicago and on our way home while accelerating onto the freeway the reduced engine power light came on along with the check engine light the truck drove no different and the light reduced power light stayed off as long as I did not accelerate quickly.
Monday 3/24 I took the truck to my locale ford dealer along with my ASC warranty paperwork to diagnose my check engine light.
Wednesday Andrew from ASC called me asked some questions and said they would not cover the repair because it was preexisting.
I called back on Thursday 3/25 upset that they would not cover I spoke to Andrew again to no Avail and then spoke to Matt same answer its a used truck and the failed fuel pump was a preexisting condition.
The paperwork I read before I purchased said nothing about a preexisting conditions. It only stated the administrator could decide if claims were paid or not.
Claimed loss: The truck will not be available for my business for 3 weeks I have to rent a truck to cover my business needs $600.00. The repair at the dealership is $17,000.00
Desired outcome: Pay for the repair like the warranty states
