Admittedly I got behind on my payments due to the covid pandemic. When I was able to pay them off, I did. Before making the payoff amount I thought I was very clear that I wanted the account closed. Then received a bill for maintenance fees because of a $12.00 balance. Of which I thought it was crazy, and then of course late fees were then added. I have spoken to so many different individuals and then to a supervisor, several times. I was willing to pay my late fee because I shorted them on my payoff amount. I spoke to a supervisor who told me that if I paid $90.00 it would be good enough to end any further late fees. and the account would be closed. I have been asking to have the account closed all to no avail. This has been going on since January. I did pay the 90.00 dollars and today I was told the account has never been closed and they are still charging me the maintenance fees monthly with the late fees.
The reasoning behind the charges of maintenance fees, and late fees, is as I was told tonight, that there were no notes in the computer about the conversation of ending this drama with the $90.00 payment.
I did believe we had a severe communication issue. I am now quite certain that because of the amount of phones calls, my inability
to understand the customer service agent, that I am a target, of some sort and I will not be treated fairly in any way. Unless I pay the now $134.60. Everytime I get one of their notices, their end is always just a couple dollars higher.

Desired outcome: It would be great to end any further contact or bills from them
