I came in to receive a $30 car wash and left out with two flat tires. My car was driven into the bay by a staff member and when it came out both tires were flat on the driver side with rim damage and both valve stems completely broken off from the tires. Call had to get towed to nearest auto shop. Manager on duty straight up told me that he gets paid minimum-wage and doesn't know what to do and when I asked if we could speak to his boss the boss told him that he did not want to speak to us that it was not their fault.

On April 13, I went to the Autobell Car Wash, 719 Church Street, Hendersonville NC. They offer several wash packages, starting at $18 up to $28. Their prices are higher compared to other local services, but I'd heard they do a great job. Selected Super Wash with Polish, Cost $25.61. At the booth where I made payment, I told the attendants that I really needed a good vacuum done. And pointed out there was sand on the back seat. After the wash, I walked around my vehicle and for the most part that looked fine. I was surprised though that for $25 the tires weren't shined. On the inside 2 window sills weren't wiped down and I had to point out other places to be wiped clean. The floor mats were barely wiped down. Despite me emphasizing right from the start how important it was to thoroughly vacuum the car, they still didn't vacuum under the floor mats, in any of the corners or edges, and still left sand on the back seat. There was heavy debris left on the floors. By now this whole Autobell Car Wash experience was really making me upset. I shouldn't have had to point out such obvious oversights. The 2 attendants should have spent more time doing their jobs and less time socializing if they weren't able to get the job done properly. I was disgusted with the results but didn't have time to circle back around the business and spend time having the problems addressed. Besides if you can't do a good job the 1st time, it's doubtful the 2nd time will be any better. The customer shouldn't have to tell attendants how to do the job right. So, I went online to Autobell Car Wash in Asheville NC and filled out the form and included photos of the problems with my concerns. The next morning Ms Nikki C called. She was very unapologetic. I told her that I felt the 2 attendants spent more time socializing than paying attention to the details of their job. She jumped on the words "detail" and "socialize" and said, "We are not auto detailers" and, "we allow our employees to socialize on the job". She hadn't bothered to look at the photos I sent of the problems so she had no way of understanding just how bad the service had been. Obviously Ms. Nikki couldn't careless about customer satisfaction with an attitude like that. I explained that I live out of the area and returning wasn't feasible so I asked for a refund or even a partial refund. Ms Nikki said, "Oh NO, we don't give refunds." So, like many that visit the Hendersonville area and aren't able to return, if you get terrible service here you are out of luck and your money. With that I told her I'd be making follow up reviews on Google and the ComplaintsBoard.com. Date of service 4/13 03:44 PM Shift 1, Empl 23079.
Me and my wife took our new cars their to be was as we did the ride thru .. we just had new tires and rims put on the night before brand new.. the lady directed my wife into the wash ..and her back tire hit the metal and jerked her car to the right .. I seen the rim hit the metal and put a chip in her rim also messed up 2 more rims as it scrubbed goin in ... we told the manager and he wanted to run it thru again ..we did not want to to prevent further damage but he said he had to to investigate.. so after a second time it chipped another rim .. he came outside and said nothing they can do .. clearly they messed up my wife's rims and not wanting to take responsibility for it ..very disappointing..we called the district manager and he was very rude and all he did was laugh sarcastically about it .. wull never go back to this place again ... horrible customer service ..
I paid $47 at this establishment to have my car vacuumed and the interior wiped down
I paid $47 at this establishment to have my car vacuumed and the interior wiped down. This price included "extra vacuuming". I did not expect a full detail job but what I got is something I could've hired a middle schooler to do. When they were done (it only took 10 minutes) it looked like all that had been done was the foot mats were vacuumed and the front panel console was wiped down. The areas between the seats were still awful and exactly how I left them, There was still dust all over the front dashboard, and I was told they would add he scent to the car that did not appear to ever be added. Based on my experience and the price that I paid I would recommend that you just take your car to a self washing station and spend the same amount of time that they did cleaning it yourself. You'll save yourself at least 40 bucks and you'll get just as good if not a better job done. Not going here again.

Same experience as many others
Same experience as many others. Paid for the *** special. After the cleaning there were smudges and bugs on the front and windshield. Scratches all along the side which are deep that were not there before which I will have to get fixed. Part of the bumper popped loose. Very disappointed. I could have gotten a better result on an exterior wash from a gas station car wash. I do not reccomend getting your car washed here. The car does smell like lemon though, and the vacuuming was well done so I will give them that. (Side note. This is a brand new car)As expected Autodell denied the claim immediately, after trying to recreate the scenario. For anyone expected a claim to be accepted, you will need to hire an attorney like I have. They will ask you to take photos of your vehicle along with signage of liability at the Autobell (which they don't have). I have already had the bumper fixed. It's sad that what could be a small cheap fix has to go this route. All I wanted was scratches fixed and an apology. Things happen, however now I'll let the Attorneys deal with it.

STAY AWAY!
STAY AWAY! SCRATCHED AUTOMOBILE & WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO AUTOBELL IN GARNER! EQUIPMENT CAN SCRATCH YOUR VEHICLE! THEY WILL DENY A CLAIM IN MINUTES. THEY DENIED MINE BASED ON A YOUNG KID SAYING THEY ARE NOT AT FAULT . HE CLAIMED HE CHECKED ALL OF THEIR BRUSHES THAT WASHED MY NEW CAR & SAW NO DEBRIS, AS IF A PIECE OF DEBRIS CANNOT MOVE OR FALL OFF THE BRUSH AFTER IT' HAS SCRATCHED THE VEHICLE. MANAGER IS QUICK TO SAY THIS HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE. YET OTHER REVIEWS SAY THEY HAD A SCRATCH OR DAMAGE TOO! I REQUESTED CAMERA FOOTAGE SO WE COULD SEE IF THE KID WHO CLAIMED HE CHECKED THE BRUSHES & OTHER VEHICLES REALLY DID. MANAGER SAYS THEY DON'T HAVE ANY CAMERAS THERE. CLAIMS WHERE THEY DO HAVE CAMERAS IN DRYING AREA, IT WOULD BE TOO GRAINY TO TELL WHO IS WHO & WHO DID WHAT ONCE I BROUGHT SCRATCH TO THEIR ATTENTION. MANAGER & ASSISTANT MANAGER BOTH ARE JERKS! MANAGER HAS THE NERVE TO SAY ASSISTANT MANAGER DOESN'T LIE. HE'S WORKED THERE FOR 5 YEARS. REALLY? YOU EXPECT SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR WORD ABOUT YOUR 5 YEAR EMPLOYEE NEVER LYING. IT IS ONE THING TO SAY YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM LYING OR CAUGHT HIM IN A LIE. IT'S ANOTHER TO SAY HE DOESN'T LIE. I GUESS I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. A PLACE THAT HIRES IMMATURE KID(S) AS PLAY MANAGERS.

Autobell car wash broke my front molding to my lincoln navigator.
On October 7, 2023 I went to the Autobell Carwash near my home. I only went because my day was extremely busy so I wanted a quick wash. I paid $30 something dollars for my wash and vacuum the inside. Once I got to the drying part of my wash one of their employees picked up my front molding up and placed it in the back of my vehicle. I seen it after I got my vehicle back. I could tell something was wrong because of how the autobell employee was staring at me when I got to the end. After speaking with the Lincoln dealership, that piece that broke can not be placed back on, I would have to have it replaced and the part cost $345.00. My insurance would pay for it but I have a $500 deductible so that's pointless.
Desired outcome: Autobell pay for the item that their car wash broke off my lincoln navigator. They can order the part from the dealership of cut me a check so I can get my vehicle repaired asap.
Visited location car was inadequately dried
Visited location car was inadequately dried. The worker appeared to act like he didn't hear me. Worker left towel on car. Contacted location and spoke to multiple staff members. Spoke to a manager who wasn't personable and used an arrogant tone to state he already spoke to me. This was not true. He later confirmed it wasn't true to individual who handles Facebook DM account. I'm requesting to be contacted by someone in Corporate Office and be issued a refund.

I went to Auto Wash on August 19. When I took my Buick Envision through the machine to have it washed, halfway through, I heard this loud sound, and it sounded like a piece of metal was beating on my car. After I got through the machine, I jumped out to look at my car and there were scratches on the driver side of the mirror and on the rear left of my SUV and towards the back end of my SUV.
The manager on duty that day looked at my SUV and took pictures of it. The manager asked me to run it back through to see if the scratches would disappear. After doing that, he said he had checked the other vehicles to see if they had any damages done to them. The manager came back to me saying, 'the other vehicles didn't have any damages to them.' He said, 'Auto Wash cannot be held responsible.' My Buick Envision did not have any damage done to it until I went into that car wash. I have always been a satisfied customer until now. I would like Auto Wash to repair my damages.
Sat. Oct. 16th 11:30 am, I visited the ***, I paid, pulled up,stopped, attendant didn't spray down my car, I was surprised my car started moving, I made sure in Neutral, attendant in front of my car said "make sure it is in neutral, it was, I was unaware there was a problem until I bumped into the car ahead of me. The wash stopped, then resumed. The Mgr. came over, He assured me it was my fault and the car had scratches on it. Why not yell to stop? Window was rolled up. Emergency Stop wasn't hit until after contact? My fault? I try to leave, no keys. I asked DO YOU HAVE my keys, NO. I had to be picked up, family spent 3 hrs looking for keys and how to come up with$400 to get replacement. Wife went by to see if she could find key on way to buy new one, THEY HAD MY KEYS! Finally talked to mgr. on Monday, Customer always admits car in Drive, normal procedure TO TAKE KEYS. HE forgets pre-wash too, MY Fault, if it was I wouldn't be filing complaint.

on 2/20 I took my 2011 BMW 550i to be washed and after the service I noticed my bumper had been sliced by one of the power washer or brush rolls. On this day once I proceed to tell the manager he became very disrespectful and unprofessional especially not wanting to hear my side and almost calling me a liar. This place ruined my car and do not want to hold themselves accountable. They would not pull or show me the camera of how my car looked prior to be getting my car washed.

I took my car in at the Park location on March 4,2021 not knowing anything about these people they came highly recommended. I paid $31.00 thinking I Getting my car washed and when they returned my vehicle it was still dirty just like it was when I took it there. I will never do business with these folks ever again and I will put on social media as well...
I subscribe to the unlimited washes with Autobell Car Wash. I brought my car to the Albermarle Rd location on Saturday March 20th around 6pm for a wash There I was guided into the wash by an employee. After the wash I arrived home to find that my tire was flat. The next morning I took the tire to a repair shop where they advised me that the stem and sensor had been damaged and had to be replaced to an amount of $317.52. The last place that I was at with the vehicle where it could have sustained such damage was Autobell. I contacted there corporate office and the store manager who stated he needed to speak with his district manager. I did not hear anything back from either. Which prompted me to visit the store where another employee that Autobell would not accept the responsibility for the cost to the dmage to my vehicle.

Location will not cover damage done to vehicle We had our vehicle's interior cleaned at this location. Noticed damage to the screen on the monitor and immediately contacted the manager & filed a complaint online. Took photos and also sent that to the manager. The manager, Chase, acknowledges that we had the vehicle cleaned there that day, acknowledges there is damage to the screen, but says we have no proof that they did it. I don't know how else to prove other than contacting them right away and sending photos. I brought the vehicle to him to inspect today, and he denied our claim.

While driving my vehicle through their car wash they caused damage to both front tires and have not reimbursed me for their replacement
While driving my vehicle through their car wash they caused damage to both front tires and have not reimbursed me for their replacement. On 8/01, I paid for and received a car wash at 4:51 pm in the amount of $29.29, which included two prepaid tips of $5 each. Regrettably, whichever of their employees drove my vehicle through the wash themselves caused damage to both front tires, resulting in a puncture and the destruction of the front left tire, for which i luckily had a spare. The front right tire suffered a slice that failed to puncture the tire itself but which left it susceptible to further damage. I drove on the spare to Hendricks Automotive Honda of Concord and replaced both tires for $126.91 each. I notified Autobell on 8/08 and they have failed to reimburse me for the cost of either tire.

New Ford Expedition damaged at Autobell Car Wash in Raleigh on 9/16
Took my new Ford Expedition for a car wash at Autobell in Raleigh on 9/16. I had vacuumed the car for 30 minutes beforehand, ensuring it was spotless. Post-wash, I found significant damage on the hood resembling grinder marks, plus three scratches on the right front side. I reported this to the assistant manager; however, the manager had to be contacted for further action. After getting an auto body repair estimate of over $1400 and unsuccessfully trying to reach Manager Nicholas E by phone, I confronted him two days later. He denied responsibility and accused me of dishonesty without inspecting the equipment.

i went to Auto Bell Rocky Mount, NC on 8/29 #claim check 1036 to get a car wash which i paid 34.15 total what what should have been outside and inside car wash, vaccum inside, armor all on tires and wipe down the inside. I spent over 45 minutes watching the attendants what i would call a detail to a car in front of me, the gentleman was tending to my car but left to go to the previous vehicle because the customer was being picky, meanwhile mine was left with no armor all on tires and they left smudges on my vehicle and when they were wiping mine down only one was working on it, the other attendant was standing just talking to him or just sat in the truck doing nothing and left my vehicle running the entire time until i shut the engine off while they were talking, after 45 minutes of this foolishness i just left not to mention i had to end up taking the vaccumm and doing the cargo space of my truck which they had no intentions of doing, the serve there is horrible

The car wash machine damaged my mirror on my new truck
The car wash machine damaged my mirror on my new truck. The manager claims it was previous damage but this is *** On 2/6 I took y truck to Autobel to get washed. I folded in the mirrors to prevent damage as I always do. After the truck washed and dried I got in. Before driving off i noticed the mirror was out of place so I adjusted it thinking it was moved while drying it. Then I noticed when I got on the interstate for trip out of town that it was bouncing all over the place. When I arrived to my destination I got out and checked the mirror. It was clearly not right. Something happened at the car wash that damaged it. It worked perfectly upon entering and didn't after leaving. The store manager claims that it is not possible for the car wash to cause damage. Well, I wouldn't be wasting my time with a complaint if it hadn't caused damaged to my mirror! The clerk is not skilled enough to know how much force it would take for your machine to damage my mirror. I want Autobell to step up and replace the mirror that their machine clearly damaged! I have shopped here for years with several vehicles and never had a complaint. Now that their machine damaged my new truck they want to pretend it couldn't have happened.

2016 Cadillac SRX was damaged during cleaning
2016 Cadillac SRX was damaged during cleaning. 8/1 - The car has an electronic rear hatch. It raises and lowers automatically. While the hatch was lowering, the Autobell attendant took his hand and stop the hatch. Upon his effort, the right arm was disconnected from the hatch. The manager on duty, Sam Lockwood, and a few attendants tried to fix the problem. He advised that in his opinion it was fixed. I advised that I would take it to a Cadillac authorized CSE service dealer for confirmation. He completed a claim form and requested that I return the form and invoice if service was required. 9/12 - I took vehicle to Ben Mynatt for service. Service advisor confirmed damaged noting that a piece in the hatch door was broken. I picked up the car on 9/17. Bill was $155.59 10/7 - I took the service bill with claim information to Autobell and met w/ manager on duty - Cayman. He called store manager. He would not sign a delivery confirmation letter and advised that store manager, *** would call me no later than tomorrow morning. He gave the information back to me. 10/9 - Called Autobell left message w/ Brittany customer call center rep. I need to speak to *** before moving forward with other options to collect money due. 10/10 - *** returned my call. He kept referring to me as man, a disrespectful moniker for a black male. I informed him that he could call me ***. Though-out the conversation he was loud and seemed annoyed. He attempted to interview me over the phone while I was at work. I offered to drop-off all the papers at his location. He refused it. I advised that I was not going to be interviewed over the phone. He response was 'you do what you have to do'

On 9/5 I had my car washed at Auto Bell in Mooresville on Plaza Drive
On 9/5 I had my car washed at Auto Bell in Mooresville on Plaza Drive. The end result of that wash was a long scratch on passenger side of my car On 9/5 I had my car washed at Auto Bell in Mooresville on Plaza Drive. The end result of that wash was a long scratch on passenger side of my car. This damage was either caused by their automated machine, vacuum hose, or employees negligence. I brought the fresh scratch to the attention of the manager William R on 9/5. He immediately start citing a well rehearsed speech of how his machines did not damage my car. William walked through the machine to inspect it ALONE I might add. He could have easily removed whatever hanging debris that caught my car. He then provided me with a claim number 147205 which was denied on the spot 9/5. Later, that day I call *** to file a complaint directly with Auto Bell corporate. I was contacted by the General manager and made an appt to speak with him on 9/12. Immediately, again I was given the same tired rehearsed speech of how my car was not damaged by Auto Bell. He re-ran my car through his machines as if to recreate the scenario a whole week later. The debris that once caught my car is definitely long gone by now. After researching the internet I quickly found out this is the same spill they give to ALL damage claims. Re-run the vehicle and if it does not scratch it again then the claim is automatically denied. Their business practice on how they research scratch claim is a scam and dishonest. They definitely KNOW their machine is causing damage at times and dismissed it non-chalantly hoping the consumer just go away. Based on their logic, all these scratch complaints filed by consumers are simply lying on Auto Bell. Can you please review my claim and the history of complaints made against auto bell. I am asking that they compensate me for the damage done to my paint job on my 2011 BMW 328i. The scratch was not present before my car was serviced by Auto Bell. My copy of the complaint is not legible but the store location has a clear top copy. I also have video of the long scratch. I have enclosed a picture of a portion of it.

I just purchased my car
I just purchased my car. I paid for an unlimited monthly wash and My vehicle was badly scratched. The managers are nonchalant about it. I just purchased my vehicle. I went to this location for the first time. I specifically asked that mats get removed due to dirt underneath. When my car was done, the dirt was still there. My car has auto wipers. I kept telling the guy that was ringing me up that the wipers needed to be shut off. He was so concerned with the payment that he wasn't listening to me. They were about to send my vehicle through the wash with my wipers going. The guy had to literally run from through the inside of the store yelling stop the line. He made it in time to push the button. When my car was finished, it was still dirty. I asked the guy to clean again but u still provided a tip because they were very young and I had young daughters. After my car was fine, I pulled off and as I pulled off, I started looking over my vehicle. I noticed two deep scratches on the side which I thought were on the surface. I pulled over at Harris Teeter and I realized they were beyond the surface and one of the scratches are green. I believe it's from a vacuum hose or maybe even the disinfectant hose that they had in my car. Long story short, I took pics, reported it, and took my vehicle for the store manager to look at it. He was very nonchalant, told me if the damages were outside of my car, they'd repair it but because they are inside, he knows they didn't damage my vehicle because they use terry cloths. However terry cloths aren't all auto bell uses when they clean your vehicle He created an incident report that stated they didn't damage my car. He took a pic of the smallest scratch with the least damage and refused to take pics of everything. Then I told him I was going to hire an attorney because I wanted the damages repaired. He said ok and actually ran away from my vehicle to another car. I contacted customer service to try to rectify this situation before I wasted time, money, and days off work which will also be included with the attorney fees and damages. Customer service filed a report and sent it to the district manager. When he called me, he had so much noise and everything going in the background that he wasn't listening to me. I had to repeat myself a couple of times and then he stated he was out of town and wouldn't be returning until after the holiday but he could have me take my car to another store for a manager to view it. At first I said yes but then he started saying the same thing the store manager said. We didn't damage your car. Basically saying I want money and at that point I said I'm not wasting time taking my car to another store because clearly you guys think you're going to get out of paying for the damages to my car.

On May 15, I stopped to have my vehicle washed
On May 15, I stopped to have my vehicle washed. After exiting the car wash the chrome over the left passenger side small window was detached. After noting the damage, I immediately reported & discussed the incident with Autobell (Abdoul) who claimed the brushes could have pulled the chrome back and that this problem had not happened before. Abdoul then stated that it was not Autobell's responsibility to pay for the repairs since the chrome was probably already "damaged" and that I was trying to pull a "fast one" on him. I was insulted that he would think such a thing and shared with him what my morning routine was on inspecting my vehicle daily to ensure the tires are all inflated and no body damage or defects noted. And most importantly because for the last several weeks (due to state restrictions COVID-19) the car was hardly driven, I paid extra attention to it. I assured him that my vehicle was not damaged upon entrance into the car wash as I would have noticed if the chrome was dislodged from the window because I had just placed packages in the back seat and my eyes had to look right at that part of the window when opening the door. I pointed out to Abdoul that he was the car wash attendee who stood at my left passenger side window to discuss the car wash options. He admitted he would have said something if he'd noticed. We discussed the incident for almost an hour and did not come to a mutual agreement. I requested the contact number of the Manager so that I could discuss the matter with him. The Manager's contact information was included in the incident report. Abdoul used a two sided sticky tape to try to hold the chrome in place as it had a severe bow in it. I asked why did they carry tape like that and he admitted that this sort of thing has happened in the past and use it to "hold the moldings in place". I then reminded him that earlier he insisted that these types of things did not happen in which his response was "on occasion" it does. I then asked if I am just to leave without anything, not even a free car wash offer and he stated that they had given an offer to someone in the past and it backfired on Autobell because it was an "admission" of liability to the customer who then sued Autobell. On May 18, I contacted the store Manager, Tyler S to discuss the incident. He had a copy of the claim's report and explained to me that it was one of those instances in which their brushes may have gotten underneath where the chrome and window met and pulled it back but would need to inspect my car himself before total confidence that it was not a liability to Autobell. We discussed the cost of replacing the chrome only because at the time I had not taken it anywhere as it appeared the chrome was the only thing that needed to be replaced. I had done a preliminary search for the part on Infiniti's website and what I thought was the part cost $189.00. Tyler stated that Autobell could possibly obtain it at a lower cost and he would look into it. In the meantime I told Tyler I would take it to my mechanic to see if he could just straighten it back out. On May 19, I stopped by my mechanic for resolving the damage and he said he could not because it required body work so he sent me to a collision specialist that looked the part up and gave a quote for replacing the entire window because the chrome comes already installed with the window. He provided me with a quote to replace the window. Approximate cost $750.00. I also contacted Infiniti that afternoon and they confined that I must order the window as the chrome is built into it. I also stopped by a glass repair shop to see if they could take the window out and straighten out the chrome but they said the "bow" in the chrome was too severe and it cannot be resealed into the window. On May 19th I contacted Tyler with an update. We discussed the cost along with my offer to help with the cost and he did not accept my appeal. I stopped by Autobell on May 20th for Tyler to inspect the damage and to further discuss a resolution. We were not able to reach a resolution and I left.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

The outside was great. Paid extra for inside cleaning, they only cleaned part of the inside. Will not be returning
My daughter and I visited the Autobell Car Wash in our hometown on October 28. As she aligned the car onto the conveyor belt, shifted to neutral, and followed the protocol of hands off the wheel and foot off the brake, a jarring noise erupted. The technician promptly informed us of a malfunction, necessitating her to reverse the car. Upon doing so, they retrieved a dislodged object.
Circling the building, I noticed the front driver's side wheel cap was damaged. The staff acknowledged the mishap, completing a claim ticket. In the interim, a quick online search revealed a replacement wheel cap priced at roughly $135 including shipping, which I promptly ordered. I presented the purchase confirmation to the employees, who requested a printed invoice post-repair for verification purposes.
On her drive back, my daughter experienced severe vehicle vibrations, raising concerns about wheel stability. The wheel cap's condition had further deteriorated by the time she arrived home. Prioritizing safety, I opted for a professional assessment and arranged a service appointment at our trusted local garage. They sourced the part for $75 and scheduled the repair for November 16th.
Confirming part availability on November 15th, I managed to expedite the repair process. Additional maintenance was conducted during the visit, for which I requested a distinct invoice for the wheel-related services. The final bill itemized $75 for the wheel cap and an extra $50 for wheel balancing.
Returning to Autobell with the invoice, I encountered a delay and was asked to revisit when the manager would be present. After coordinating with the staff, I was met with resistance upon presenting the invoice. The manager agreed to cover the wheel cap cost but disputed the necessity of wheel balancing, denying responsibility for that expense.
Unsatisfied, I escalated the issue to the corporate office, leaving a message for the district manager. His response mirrored the manager's, refusing to cover the balancing cost and curtailing further escalation. With no resolution in sight, I am now considering legal recourse.
Based on this experience, I cannot endorse this particular Autobell location. The quality of their car wash services, including window cleaning, carpet vacuuming, and console dusting, is subpar, and their customer service has proven to be disappointing.
