Air fryer
Purchased this air fryer on line. Cost $18.00, plus 10% buyers premium and tax. This product was not described as used or that it had actually been on fire and had melted the bottom of the unit. Have made several calls to the auction house, but no response or acknowledgment that calls are received.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement and that this company are required to list the item as used . This item could have possibly caught back on fire if I had plugged it in. They should not be allowed to sell faulty equipment!
Terrible Service - not representing phone bids as promised
Ball Auction in West Virginia recently conducted a sale of Skips Honda motorcycle shop. It was advertised on Auction Zip. I checking with the auctioneers, there would be no onlne bidding, but they did confirm there would be phone bidding. The day of the auction I tried to connect with them via phone. What a hassle. Once I got connected, I was told that I could not remain on the phone during the auction...rather, I had to submit my maximum bid for EVERY item, and then hang up and they would "take care of the rest" and let me know if I won.
Auction companies that are not properly equipped to run and fair and open auction for remote bidders should just be honest up front and decline remote bidders. All it makes for is bad press, poor experience, and a less than optimum opportunity for all involved.
Summary: Do NOT use Ball Auction ni West Virginia for remote bidding auctions !
