Bank Mobile Vibe bank...in general... services, speed, customer care, etc...

If anyone can avoid having to deal with this bank... PLEASE DO! The ONLY reason I signed up was due to the fact that my school worked with them and I had access to my financial aid faster. I have been involved with this bank for less than a year... over this time I have experienced only frustration!
Number of Problems...
1) Speed - Length of time their services took...
I had my payroll checks direct deposited... they would take an extra day... Because the checks were from local businesses, I might have been able to just overlook this extra processing day. However, after the the season ended and I started on unemployment... those deposits took extra days to process too... as if the federal government was going to default. Not even a portion of the amount was made available.
2) Services - Available services were not actually available...
Bankmobile Vibe advertised the check capture feature. However, I tried many times, and to my surprise (not really at all) it didn't work... always giving an error and then ending with "try again later"... but later never worked.
3) Fees - Being charged to deposit cash!
What kind of bank charges to deposit cash? Not really much more to say about that...
4) Customer Care - Constant language barriers, slow feedback and e-mail responses...
The message of the conversation continued to get lost in translation. I would get extremely frustrated... however, it was not the employees fault.. they were very nice and TRIED to be helpful... but after the 4th or 5th time of asking "huh" or "what" ... I would just have to politely ask to hang up... RARELY, would the problem get solved.
I tried to online chat on 3 different occasions, I was NEVER connected with a worker.
I tried to request help with issues when logging into my account. The response time was always minimum 3 days or longer... In addition, the format they wanted their replies was ridiculous! They didn't just want a reply, they REQUIRED the reply to be a copy of their response with you response to their email within a specific space on their email... not a form with a section designated for the response... but within lined arrows made out of keyboard characters (ie. --

Bank Mobile Vibe customer service representatives

I called in to cancel a check capture deposit because it was taking to long to post. The representative told me that if it showed submitted I could go ahead to the bank to cash it instead of waiting. This was false information. I went to the bank and cashed the check as advised by the representative. Later that night the money posted to my account after I already cashed the check. I called back in as soon as I saw this and spoke with another representative that told me he was submitted this issue to another department and they would send me an email with steps to take to fix this. No email ever came! He asked me how soon I would address this and I replied as soon as I got the email, that never came. I called a second time and asked for a manager in which I finally received some assistance in addressing this matter. Over all I was given false information via the representative which led to a check (1) check, that was cashed twice.
I am very unhappy with the service I received from the 3 customer service representatives i've dealt with over the last 2 and a half days of trying to resolve this matter. I will be taking this matter up with my school as well in hopes they find a new bank to work with. I am american and majority of the representatives i've dealt with cannot even speak proper english or talk extremely fast so that you cannot understand a word they are saying.
Very upset with customer service of this bank! This is still an ongoing matter and I am still waiting for it to be addressed.

Bank Mobile Vibe customer service and general business practice

Almost a month ago, I contacted BankMobile to get my financial aid refund for college. Since I don't have a card with them, I was requesting a paper check to be sent to my house. I was on hold for literally 47 minutes listening to recordings and hold music until I finally got to speak to someone. When I finally did, I couldn't seem to make this woman understand that I didn't have a card, that I DID have my code number from the university I am enrolled in, and that I was trying to get my check so I could buy my next course materials, which by the way is less than a week away from this writing. When I called initially, I was told that it would be 7-10 days to see the check arrive. I waited for two weeks and nothing came. So I called again, and they said there was never anything recorded in their records that I had called to get the paper check. Needless to say, I was livid. Then I get an email through my college webmail saying something about how because I never called (baloney!), they issued a paper check. I called them again and reminded the rep that I did in fact call, and I had set it up with them. She said there was a record that I did call, but that the check wasn't sent out after I did, which it should have been. Then later I get another email on my college webmail saying once again that because I didn't call (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!), the first check was cancelled. I called sand asked what was going on and was told that in fact, a new one was approved and the first one would be invalid when I got it. Anyway, it came in the mail the other day, and I am still waiting for the valid one. I am hoping beyond hope that this one will come in time for me to buy my course materials before the next course, which starts on July 3rd. It will have ben a month by that point. No one communicates with each other around there, obviously and they have a whole lot to learn about processing bank requests.], to say the very least. I would never, EVER recommend anyone do business with these people. They don't have the first clue as to running a bank!

Bank Mobile Vibe they stole my money

When I was notified that my funds were available, I tried doing a wire transfer into another account. The money was removed from my bank mobile account but never made it to the account I tried wiring it to. 2 days later the money is returned back into my bank mobile account but the $25 they charged me for the attempted wire was never given back to me. Sk they pretty much charged me $25 for an attempted transfer and they're telling me that the I can't get that money back.. So they pretty much stole that money from me and won't give it back. This bank is full of [censor] and will rob you of your own money!

Bank Mobile Vibe entire banking system

Not that anyone at this god forsaken bank gives a [censor], but this is the worst bank I've ever dealt with! I have had nothing but issues with this bank. This time it a stop payment...i was told I could do a stop payment on a reoccurring charge. I called and talked to a rep, not that they lol now what the hell they are doing, nor do they speak friggin English, but I told the rep it wasn't a check transaction of any kind and she still insisted it would go through, the transaction was pending so it had not posted. 4 days later when the money should have returned to my account it was charged and posted, after calling and yet again trying to talk to people that barely speak English I was told I could file a complaint and wait 180 days! Right like anyone is going to wait 180 days, no wonder why no one puts in a complaint, we have to wait 6 months for anyone to give a [censor]! Well I'm going to close my account and hopefully by word of mouth and bad reviews in which I will assist in, bank mobile will close and longer be able screw people over or steal their money!

Bank Mobile Vibe I do believe changed my refund preference in order to delay my funds

I received a text from BMV that my refund would be transferred on Tuesday 4/11 and would take 1-2 business days to hit my Wells fargo acct, today which is Thursday 4/13 I received another text from them stating that my bank(wells fargo) had return my refund. So I called BMV and my preference had been changed, not by me, now i have to wait 2-4 more days for refund. Wells fargo stated there was never an attempt to deposit any funds from BMV. I will report this to the Dept of Education. There has got to be another way for students to receive funding other than a 3rd party. I will also take this complaint to the BBB as well. If you are having troubling issues with this Bank Mobil Vibe, please say something, this is your money and not theirs, you have to pay it back not them and their should not be any issues on receiving your refunds on time or no delays. Im telling. This issue needs to be resolved immediately. I know for sure that i did not change my bank preference, so someone changed it... thats illegal. I will call the Federal reserve if i have too.

Deb, I couldn't agree more. I have been arguing with these people for three weeks now over the same issue. I don't know why colleges and universities even deal with this. This is my son's housing money for the summer and he would be up a creek if he didn't have me and my husband to back him up financially. I am working my way around all of the major complaint boards. I too will be reporting them to the Federal Reserve as well as the Bursars office at my son's school. If enough people complain, maybe they might actually address the problem versus sending out a bunch of form responses containing empty apologies and promises. Keep after them about your issues! I know I am. Best of luck.

Bank Mobile Vibe refunds

4/09/2017 Was told that the money would be sent to my account and it won't be reimbursed for 5-7 business days which is unacceptable. I have bills that needed to be paid and this is an inconvenience to me to have to wait then when called to expedite the issue it still would take an additional 2 days just for that I am completely unsatisfied and will be switching to a new bank as soon as possible.

Bank Mobile Vibe service by b. mobile

I submitted I submitted a check yesterday and the amount of $16k+ the check arrived there today at 12:07 p.m. and was signed by B mobile however the check was not deposited adequately and I believe in any case none of the check was cleared not even $500 or even $100 and I find that disturbing for my bank of nearly two and a half years and my thoughts are to consider finding a better more rapid institution to manage my new company funds, upcoming classes and lawsuit.

I've been waiting all semester to receive my refund check from school. They have been giving me the run around. I'm sick and tired of this. This bank is pure ####. I'm still currently waiting and probably never going to get it. They keep stating I need to send pieces of info, and everytime I do I have to wait 3-5 days, then they tell me to send more info

Bank Mobile Vibe Get personal code to activate my account from south university

Ok my name is Zonya Ullrich and i had an account with bankmobile for Colorado Tech University. Im no longer enrolles with that school and enrolled with South University. I have a refund that is being held by the bank and that my personal code was mailed just yesterday on 02/28/2017 now I have a serious financial matter that I have made arrangements on to be taken care of on the 3rd thinkn that would give enough time for me to recieve my money well nope apparently refund selection kits didnt go out early enough to not cause such situation like this. Now it says on the website www.refundselection.com this...To get started, enter your Personal Code which you may have received in a green envelope or in an email from BankMobile and customer service is telling me to wait for the envelope in which i need access to my account now! So im going to call back again tomorrow and ask again for the code if i do not recieve sum type of solution Iam going to file a lawsuit against bankmobile for holding my refund and for false statements that are stated on websites that bankmobile can do more to assist me than what they have done. Thank you and hope to have a response back from you soon with a solution. And yes I have already been in contact with my financial advisor who refered me back to the bank to start a new account with my email address i have thru my school and once again customet service or supervisor could or would help me to access my funds.

Bank mobile closed my account on December 8th 2023 and said they mailed my check. But I still haven’t received it and I need my money for my kids Christmas this is ridiculous I am tired of having to wait. I don’t even know why they even closed my account I have heard nothing but bad reports about bank mobile

Bank Mobile Vibe checking holds

I'm tired of this outrageous system and representative of yours. My school sent you the info to open my account. Why don't you guys contact them to id me? I've uploaded everything but I still have a hold. And I had an old account with you guys. I don't even want to bank with you guys anymore. This is ridiculous. I am me. You have my passport, license, social security card, cpr card and first aid card. What in world else do you need from me? My death certificate? Just send me my money to my chase bank account. I am going to file a petition at my college to end contracts with your company.

i totally agree with this person not only did i have money taken i told them unprofessional csr( CANT REMEMBER [censor])employees that in april 2017 that someone stole my school information did they care and theres a detective involved i will call detective and tell him that were dealing with a fraud case involving students federal monies lets see what happens here

Bank Mobile Vibe 3 different holds on my account week after week it's still on you

I'm tired of waiting for this hold to be lifted off my account, it's unfair to me that it would take this long for a transaction that didint go through and I waited the 5 days, plus faxed you guys the paper that YOU GUYS sent me saying it will be lifted right away when they received it. its unfair I been trying to buy books for school and for you guys or the system to take this long it is not right, you can say you guys understand or you guys are sorry but you are not the one that will be failing the paid for class because Bank Mobil Vibe wants to put back to back holds on my account week to week and have people wait 24 to 48 hours for every little misunderstand something needs to be better. I need to speak to someone these supervisors aren't helping me so I need someone's that can, let someone put a hold on your account for 2 to 3 weeks after you need to pay your rent with late fees.

They did the same to me but when transactions were pending they took the money out of my available balance and then again when it posted causing my account to go negative! Worst bank!

Bank Mobile Vibe refund

When the transaction took place on 10/24/2016 I immediately called the bank because I received notification that $1160 came out of my account. I told the bank that I didn't want that full amount to come out and explained that to the person scheduling the payment as well. When I called the bank they told me they cannot stop the payment from coming out however once it posts I can request it to be refunded. I called to have it refunded and then I was told to go through the dispute process. So I've done that and was further told that it takes 180 days for the refund process to be completed. I feel like it could have been something to prevent the funds from coming out of my account but there was no one willing to help me. Not having that money has really put an inconvenience on me because I used the funds for tuition. I don't understand why it could not be ratified sooner. The money belongs to me and asked if the payment could be stopped. It would be nice to have the funds reversed and put back into my account.

This is my fist term at a university at uses Bank Moble Vibe. My experience with Bank Moble has terrible. I plan to file a complaint with BBB later today. They are supposed to release the refund to me from my school same day. It has been seven days. The reason is they have been unable to confirm my identity. I have provided them every they have request, My drivers license, my W2, my tax transcript, mail. Two if these items have my social security on them. I spoke to customer service three times in day. They would tell me they have what they need, then the next morning I would I would get another auto generated email saying that my identity is not confirmed. I supposedly have a paper check in the mail. Do not use their bank account or card. They will try and steer you in that direction but the requirements are unreasonable and when you produce them it is not enough. The very first time you go in, click the preference of personal check, or to my own bank account. Otherwise you will likely experience delays to your funds.

Bank Mobile Vibe bankmobile vibe

They have absolutely no fraud protection, there is no chip in the card and heaven forbid, you get ripped off (twice) as I have, Customer Service will do the absolute minimum to resolve the situation as required by law. If you must use this bank, I suggest writing a check from this account and depositing into a more reputable bank. You'll regret keeping your money in this account, I can promise you that.

Bank Mobile Vibe fraud

I called BMV to inform them that it was fraudulent activity going on, on my debit card and for them to block the card. 30 minutes later they let they fraud company steal 489.00 out of my account. I went through the disputes process and now they want me to pay the money the scammers stole from me and the additional 489.00! I wouldn't recommend this bank to a dog, and also the customer service representatives are uneducated and very poor customer services skills no training or experience!

They either are misinforming their CSR people or they are complete idiots. I'm fed up with their ignorance and the idiots sitting behind them soaking up their paychecks and going home at 5 not giving a damn about what they're doing to us. Give it to the CSR's so that they can complain to their supervisors to get something done. But be careful, some of the csr's supervisors and mangers deliberately repeat themselves to get you mad enough to yell at them while being recorded. They can try to use this against you leaving out the number of times you've already called. They will debt your deposits making you to pay insf fees. COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN... If they give you the 203 #, punch in last names if you don't have an extention. The csr's, supervisors, and manager will not give you one. And if they do, it will be on where no one answers, goes to vm and you'll never receive a return call. CLOSE DOWN THESE [censor]...

Bank Mobile Vibe bank mobile a banking service

Bank mobile is in charge of my refund I've been waiting for two weeks just to receive a paper check everytime I call I get the run around I keep getting told that my check is coming and I have yet to receive it. When I asked them to deposit my money into my own Bank account I was told no I believe this is a fraudulent company and they have never released my funds I will pursue legal action if I don't receive my money immediately.

Bank Mobile Vibe Illegally withholding funds

Formally Wex bank, higher One, now Bank mobile vibe is a ripoff. When I contacted the bank they told me my account was compromised. I would know if my account is compromised right so I tell them no it's not compromised they had a hold on my account. They told me in order to get the hold off my account I have to get a notarized document uploaded and sent to them. The document States to explain how my account was compromised. Well my account was not compromised is what I put. So after receiving the documents I don't hear nothing back from anyone. I contacted them again to only have them tell me that I have to wait on the email with the response. They won't give me any other information I can't have anyone's name whose access to my account and I feel like this is against the law. Has this happened to anyone else. Please tell what I should do.

I have been trying for days and going to two Check cashing places to get verification for my son's parent plus loan refund check and no one has answered the customer service line to verify his student refund this so ridiculous

They have held my daughter school refund for almost 4 years, I have had our case esçalateð to the executives and they have not done [censored]. Dealing with this fraudulent company has been the most stressful situation

June 2nd-3rd card was declined multiple times (sufficient funds). When customer service was contacted they informed me that they do not know when the issue will be resolved. Lawsuit will be filed.
