Battery Clerk CA
Bought 3 12v 7ah & 3 12 7ah batteries were all defective. They arrived charged to 12.2v and one large one at 11.2.v. On the charger 5 of them charge quickly to 12.6v max before quickly shutting off. The other one is not safe it starts boiling almost instantly. I'm not. sure of time but heard it and thought it was the charger fan after connecting. The battery charger for 2 minutes boiled for 5 after disconnecting. Dangerously bad batteries and company with horrific customer service.
Desired outcome: Full refund these are dangerously defective and truly very disappointing and frustrating.
Didn't receive full order and company refused to help
On march 10th we ordered 2 replacement batteries for our jumper packs. Shipping was late by 2 days. Only received ONE battery in a damaged package! When I reported it the ticket got closed saying order was delivered! The box wasn't even big enough to fit 2 batteries in! Meaning, this was INTENTIONAL on the companies part! I don't know who got a battery at my expense but it is absolutely bull! We will not be using this company again
Desired outcome: Refund for battery that wasn't received

Motorcycle Battery
Ordered battery and it stated 1-2 day delivery well after a week of getting daily emails that battery would be delivered by 8 every day I waited no battery called battery clerk after a week and they said it was lost and would send another over night, I gave up and got a battery at Auto Zone in 20 minutes, two days later a get this email at 10 am that the battery was delivered but I have checked at 9 am at 9:30 and then at ten after getting the email no battery, the email had only one response available yes I got battery I did not hit this but emailed reply that no I had not gotten battery. Then next day I got a email that stated I had got battery and ticket was closed. Called Battery Clerk and they said they would investigate I said I wanted my money back. Well I will go Monday to bank and see how much they took out I really think they are scammers and about to go out of business. Worst experience ever with online shopping. Lucky thing battery was $25 so if they only took out $25 I am ok, I located this messed up company at walmart.com so be careful walmart said nothing they can do put investigate.
Desired outcome: Outcome that would work battery or money back
6v 4ah sealed lead battery
Ordered 16 of these batteries in November 2018 to save on the shipping fees. I NEVER received the batteries. They were probably delivered to the wrong unit in the apartment building. I noticed the mistake on the shipping order when I got really mad at the agent from BetteryClerk. So she sent me the shipping slip and there was a mistake on the unit: my unit is 113-B and the one where they shipped it was 103. I did go to unit 103 and asked them if they had received anything from BetteryClerk, but that was 2 weeks later. Of course, they didn't have anything for me. And the landlord told me that he wasn't sure but he thought that he had seen a box in front of unit 103 a while back... What stupid company ships thru a carrier that DOESN'T REQUIRE a signature when delivering.?!?!?! But this has been their argument all the time: the package was delivered by Purolator. Purolator confirms that they delivered it. Did you check the back door? Did you check with your reception clerk? Yeah right! THIEVES!
Even Paypal wouldn't honor "customer complaint" and ruled in favor of the thief (BatteryClerk)... So don't believe that Paypal are right: they're just another scam that takes care of the robbers.
I lost 160$ in this but hey, I'm now wiser.
status updates and product shipping
I ordered on 22 Mar 2018 and here it is 7 April with no update other than when I talked to Chad on 28 March saying that it was due in to their distribution center within a day or two. Stated that I would receive an update on shipping status as soon as it shipped.
Emailed again on 5 April and got a response from Elenita
Hello,
We are sorry for the late in response.
We will contact our warehouse to follow up the shipment of your order.
We will forward the tracking once fulfilled.
Regards,
Elenita

I am seeking credit card hold due to miserable communication and false advertising
I would like to finally get my order
To whom it may concern,
I ordered a battery for my phone on monday, november 20th, at first I was told that it would be shipped within 2-3 business days. It wasn't shipped and is still in processing.
Can anyone explain why? Unfortunately, their customer support is completely useless, I didn't hear what I wanted, I mean they provided no reasons why it happened, but they said that the item is available and its stock. So I don't understand anything at all.
defective replacement metabo powermaxx battery returned and did not receive full refund
The defective battery was listed as replacement for my Metabo Powermaxx. After inserting the battery without force, it would not release except on one side and the clip on the non-release side broke off. Defective because it has to release like the original did.
It cost $4.11 to return a defective battery and then BatteryClerk only refunded $25 of the $32.77 charged. Never buy from these people. Thankfully I didn't spend more money. Am going through Paypal to get additional credit.
Will not order from them again!
Do not order from this website!! They are real scammers! I have made an order and purchased something from BatteryClerk website. After I paid I received a tracking number and all the necessary confirmations. When I wanted to track my order I found out that the number they gave me was invalid! Then I contacted USPS and they said that they did not get...
Read full review of BatteryClerk and 4 commentsHorrible seller! Stay away!
I have ordered a laptop battery from BatteryClerk. My laptop is rather old and they don't make such models these days so I asked the BatteryClerk support for help. I was not able to find a battery for my 6 year old laptop and their rep gave me a recommendation and I finally made an order. When it arrived it was not suitable for my laptop. So I contacted customer service again and they refused to refund my money. They even called me a liar and said that their rep never recommended me anything.
No product received / No response from company
On April 5, I ordered a battery from Battery Clerk. After about a week, I called to ensure that the battery had been shipped. The representative mentioned some lame excuse about not being able to ship a "charged" battery and that they were probably waiting for the battery to "discharge."
I called my credit card company to find that Battery Clerk had immediately billed my credit card the moment my order was placed.
I will be calling the credit card company again to dispute the charge, of course!
By the way, I also discovered that they now have an "F" with the BBB.
When you hear "Battery Clerk, " RUN THE OTHER WAY!
I had the same experience. Website says they ship same day if ordered by 2pm. It's been 10 days on my order and when I inquired was told they don't have any batteries in inventory, they order them after you place your order, and their supplier had not even shipped to them. Do not be conned by the so called 1695 customer reviews on their website, all very favorable- if you read them they are written in broken English, probably by the same guy. Independent websites like jabber and this one contain all negative comments, and BBB says they have multiple consumer complaints they wont even answer. I'm going back through my credit card co. to try and get refund and will call NJ Consumer Protection when they open up [protected]).
Ordered a battery and never heard anything
Ordered a battery and never heard anything. Email battery clerk and they stated they shipped the battery and would email me the shipping information that afternoon (lie). Never heard anything further or received battery. Emailed battery clerk again and ignored my emails. Disputed transaction with Paypal. Horrible seller! Stay away!
Worst experience I've had buying a battery for my UPS. they "claim" we ship same day. my shipping address is 5 miles from their office and took them 6 days to ship the item. horrible customer service. only replied to my email after i disputed charge with paypal. NEVER AGAIN.
Horrible service! Will never buy from here again! Not only did they not expedite my shipment, which cost me an extra $13.00, the product was not satisfactory so they charged me a 15% restocking fee! What a joke! My company will be shopping somewhere else!
They took my money immediately after placing an order
I had a terrible experience with this company. They took my money immediately after placing an order. Three weeks later after several phone & online conversations (all instituted by me), they claim the batteries were shipped today (although the tracking number they gave is not recognized by the shipper (Fedex). In talking to all levels in this company (including the owner), I was told that the only problem was the way I placed the order. Good luck to anyone who deals with this company!
They obviously don't stand behind their defective product
I would not use Battery Clerk again. I ordered a battery for my Tri-Square radios. The battery didn't work at all. I sent it back to Battery Clerk (at my own expense). They assured me that the battery they sent would work in the Tri-Square radio. They sent me another battery and I had the same result. The battery didn't work at all. Then when I asked to get a refund they wouldn't respond to my phone calls or emails. They obviously don't stand behind their defective product.
