I'm an importer of stainless jewelry from Canada and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with my experience with Beads.us. I bought some products that were supposed to be stainless steel, but when I removed the plating, the material was copper-colored. I mean, come on, since when is stainless steel copper-colored? It just doesn't make sense to me.
So, I've been trying to get a refund for the past 5 weeks, but it's been a real struggle. The company keeps insisting that the products I bought are stainless steel, but I'm not convinced. I mean, I know what stainless steel looks like and this ain't it.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Beads.us. I was hoping for better quality products and better customer service. But, I guess you win some, you lose some.

This company is pretty good at shipping out orders quickly. I got my stuff super fast through FedEx or DHL. I've ordered from them 8 times in the past 2 months and they always send me coupons when I sign up. I pay through PayPal, but sometimes the coupons don't work and I have to submit a support ticket to get the invoice fixed. They always fix it though, so it's not a big deal.
The only problem I've had with this company is that some of the pieces I've received were missing rhinestones. I've only submitted support tickets for 3 of the orders that had missing pieces. I also got sent the wrong size bead once, but that was an easy fix. I didn't bother submitting support tickets for the other missing rhinestones because I figured it wasn't worth the hassle.
I did submit 2 support tickets asking if they could combine my orders so I only have to pay for shipping once. They were able to do it for one of the orders, but not the other. That's okay though, I still like this company and kept buying from them.
But then I had a really bad experience. I submitted a support ticket for missing rhinestones and it was a lot of pieces. I had 11 pieces missing rhinestones and a lot of 20 pieces missing all rhinestones in all flowers. I told them how much I paid per piece and what items were missing rhinestones, which totaled $5.74. I also said that if they want to reship out the lot of 20 pieces with my next order the refund amount is $5.74. If they would rather me repurchase them again from their company the refund amount is $16.74.
The next day I received an email saying they don't want to give me a refund because I complained too much. I couldn't believe it! I sent an email back saying I would report them to PayPal. I did report them and they refunded me $16.74. But then they sent me another email saying they passed the PayPal complaint. It sounds like they have kids running this business.
I've spent $799.12 with this company and they've only refunded me $32.56 for pieces missing rhinestones and for the 8 missing pieces. They also refunded me $16.32 because I paid 2 shipping fees and they combined 2 orders into 1 shipping fee. They also refunded me $8.55 because the item I purchased was no longer available.
I wouldn't order from this company if you aren't prepared to take a loss on every order because they don't want to refund you for damaged or missing items. This company is owned by Milky Way Jewelry LTD. It's a really big company, but they're ripping off small business owners like me who are just starting up. I provided pictures of the pieces they're selling on their website and what the pieces that arrived look like. I also provided pictures of their beads missing rhinestones and burnt-looking pieces.
