Beneficent was recommended to us from a very close friend who had gone through a similar medical situation that we were experiencing
Beneficent was recommended to us from a very close friend who had gone through a similar medical situation that we were experiencing. Right from the beginning, Beneficent proved to be the company that knew what to do to help us get Medicaid involved in my wife's future care. She is still in the family home with medical problems and dementia, but the reassurance that the costs will be covered once she is moved into a care facility is overwhelming. I would highly recommend Beneficent to help you navigate the tremendous amount of paperwork that is required to get your loved one into the Medicaid system. The company was super good at communicating every step that needed to be accomplished to get us to a satisfactory conclusion. Thank you very much.
Beneficent and the services they provided my family was such a phenomenal find
Beneficent and the services they provided my family was such a phenomenal find. They worked with me and my family through an exceedingly difficult situation where my father-in-law needed to receive full time nursing care as my mom was going through cancer treatments. The monumental expenses they were facing required getting my father-in-law on Medicaid as soon as possible. The team at Beneficent was so diligent and patient with my family as we navigated the paperwork process and many down weeks due to chemotherapy treatments. I could not have organized and maintained a consistent flow of documentation and process adherence without their services. Thank you, Mel and Karla, for your dedication to my family and our difficult situation. Doug M., Denver, CO
Just got a complimentary guidance call with *** at Beneficent! Even though my parent is out of the ***, and she cannot officially serve our needs, she spent time working through my fathers situation with *** siblings and working out several scenarios. Then she offered to help find someone like her in the state he resides so we can get the care he will need without depleting all of his hard earned savings. We are thrilled at the education provided so we now know what to look for, ask for, and begin the processes necessary for his best care! We are so thankful! Keep up what you are doing, so many need your insights and expertise!
We are seniors in our 80s and we were applying for a program to assist us in our needs. We found out this was a complex process and we felt we needed help. We looked for help and it was recommended we contact Beneficent. We contacted Beneficent and asked them to help us with all the complex paperwork. The provided us with outstanding leadership and guided us through th process and we were able to get approval for the program. If you need help in getting approval for long time care and medicaid program give Beneficent a call.
and *** were always pleasant to talk with. There were so many hoops to go through in order to get my mom on *** We couldn't have done it without them. I've already referred them to a friend.
I worked with Beneficent for over 3 years with regard to my mother's LTC care process. Without them, I would have been lost and a mental wreck from it all. I began my journey with a consultant who moved away, but my case was picked up without a hitch by ***. Their bevy of knowledge about *** and Medicaid is astounding. You can not possibility "teach" yourself this information online. You have to trust those in your corner, and Beneficent is THERE! Every time I had a question it seemed that *** would drop everything she had going to to either email me or respond to me via phone call. They are patient and kind and will explain over and over if you still don't understand. Give yourself a break and let Beneficent help you. Their fees are minimal in the money they can save you and time in submitting paperwork and dealing with elder issues. Forever indebted to Beneficent
My wife's early onset Alzheimer's made things extremely difficult for her to qualify for Medicade
My wife's early onset Alzheimer's made things extremely difficult for her to qualify for Medicade. The staff at Beneficent worked hard and were successful. But make sure you know all the rules before proceeding. Medicade is not free. If your spouse income is too high you will need to surrender a portion of that income each month to the state. Being full time care and not able to work, surrendering a good portion of your monthly income can be devastating. I would say if spouse is at home still, wait until you really need it before applying. I was not fully aware of this. Eventually, she may need more care than I can give her and the cost could be devastating. But I'm not sure I understood all this going in. And I'm still not sure I understand all that is to come.
My family was fortunate to be recommended to Beneficent through my fathers Assisted Living facility. The assistance and expert advice Beneficent provided for navigating the daunting process of applying for Medicaid and finding the right local supportive care options for my father was invaluable. I would have never known how to negotiate this process on my own, they were compassionate partners by our side with a wealth of information. They helped us to preserve a legacy for our family which were forever grateful for. I highly recommend Beneficent, and have been doing so to friends and family. They truly life up to their motto of doing good for others.
I would like to thank ***, my counselor and the ladies at Beneficent. The stress, the worry, the frustration I was experiencing trying to fill out the medicaid application for my grandmother (105) was very overwhelming and the taking care of my grandmother as weighting on my family. I needed help I was referred to Beneficent by a nursing home. After my initial appointment with ***, I knew everything was going to be ok.Within 58 days, *** was able to get approval for my grandmother and secure a placement in a nursing home for her. They saved my family, thank you I highly recommend Beneficent for anyone that *** fine themself in a similar situation.
Beneficent has truly been a blessing for our family and has given us peace of mind
Beneficent has truly been a blessing for our family and has given us peace of mind. The team at Beneficent was there from start to finish to advise and navigate through the Medicaid process for my father, as well as the process to preserve assets for my mother. They and their staff are the very best, very professional, kind and compassionate, and always had our best interest in mind. I believe our case was one of the longer ones to complete (NOT due to any delays on Beneficent's part), but well worth our time. Without their knowledge and expertise, I (daughter) could never have accomplished this alone and continue to assist in the healthcare of my parents. Beneficent provides an excellent service that many seniors in the state of [insert state name] may benefit from. We highly recommend Beneficent! Thank you so much!
Beneficent was a life saver for me as my *** of *** when it became clear to my uncle that he could no longer live in his home. We would not have been able to plow thorugh all of the *** parperwork without *** assistnace. She was great, and was so friendly that my Uncle readily trusteed her; as did I.Thaks so much to the Beneficent team members that helped us over the past many months. My uncle is now comfortably in his assisted living facility.
Applying for long-term care Medicaid is extremely complicated and stressful indeed. Thanks to Beneficent, my mother was approved, and I (court appointed legal guardian and conservator) could breathe a sigh of relief. I always learned that spending down to $2000. was required in order to qualify for *** Medicaid. Beneficent knows alternative methods of qualifying for long-term care Medicaid. Beneficent educated me so I could preserve some of my mother's resources so she was not destitute, yet, still qualify for Medicaid. Beneficent is very well connected with all of the agencies involved, and their fee was only a fraction of the resources my mother was able to retain. Though there were many complications that delayed the approval, the flat fee covered my terrific case managers additional time and efforts until the *** Medicaid application was finally approved.I was unaware of Beneficent, and I am immensely grateful that I met a member of the professional and courteous Beneficent team at an event at my local senior center. Beneficents owner is an exceptionally knowledgeable Certified Medicaid planner. The owner has educated her staff well. Throughout the process, my case manager kept me informed every step of the way. Being a Baby Boomer, I appreciated that my case manager phoned (my preferred means of reciprocal communication) with updates. Thanks so much, Beneficent! It is highly unlikely that my mothers long-term care Medicaid application would have been approved without the traditional spend-down, had it not been for your vast knowledge and extraordinary assistance.
Handled our Medicaid case successfully and in a timely manner. Such a huge weight off our shoulders and a huge help for my mom. Highly recommended!
Beneficent was recommended to me by my cousins who used Beneficent to help them navigate the process getting our aunt approved for Medicaid
Beneficent was recommended to me by my cousins who used Beneficent to help them navigate the process getting our aunt approved for Medicaid. We are thankful that we hired Beneficent to help us complete the process of getting our mother into the Medicaid system and preserving some of her assets. John, our case manager, helped me gather the documents necessary to accomplish this goal. It took me days to find all the required documents, scan and send them to John. I live in New York City and my mother is in a care center in Buffalo. The laws and procedures vary from county to county, and John knows how to get what the local office requires. The process took much longer than I imagined, however, you are dealing with government requirements and time frames. John's communication skills are outstanding and was able to explain all the details of the process. Thank you for a job that was well done!
My experience with Beneficent was exceptional
My experience with Beneficent was exceptional. I was in a situation where I needed to apply for Medicaid for a relative who required long term care. I was overwhelmed and didnt know where to start until I was given a Beneficent brochure. After the initial assessment I was assigned a dedicated and knowledgeable Case Manager, [Case Manager's Name], to guide me through the process. I didnt know that it was possible to preserve assets with Medicaid but it is and thats the option I selected. [Case Manager's Name] spent hundreds of hours filing the necessary documents and getting my relative approved for Medicaid. Bottom line he will have the money for his long term care for the rest of his life. I cant say enough good things about [Case Manager's Name]. Her organization, communication skills and ability to explain a complicated process are outstanding. She is also a very caring person. I am forever indebted to [Case Manager's Name] and Beneficent.
Well, really don't know where to start, from my first phone call till the end of the approved Medicaid application it was about as professional
Well, really don't know where to start, from my first phone call till the end of the approved Medicaid application it was about as professional as it gets! Mel put me on a mission to obtain a list of documents for my mom, I showed up with a pile of papers and after she calmed me down put them in some sort of order she could work with, then it off with more instructions on what to do next. trust accounts, bank stuff etc. I proudly returned with everything in hand and then had to return to Alaska where I live. I think about 26 days latter Mel called me with the good news that Medicaid was approved and we had accomplished everything we set out to do. Me and my family owe Beneficent a great big THANK YOU for making it easier to move on and know our mom is taken care of. Oh, I would like to thank Ashley for the great directions getting to the Colorado Springs Beneficent office! and the other ladies that put up with me on the phone.

We recently started working with Beneficent and feel others need to know what an amazing service they offer
We recently started working with Beneficent and feel others need to know what an amazing service they offer. Everyone we spoke with or met with are friendly and you can tell they truly care and believe in helping others. The folks at Beneficent are experts in Medicaid regulations and policies which would have taken us considerable effort and time to understand. Miles of paperwork, processes, and guidance and they helped us through the entire process with patience in a challenging time in our family. They are very communicative, caring and helpful Having a loved one age and become dependent is challenging on it's own but knowing how much care will be needed down the road makes it very stressful. Our family feels extremely fortunate to have a plan in place to guarantee resources are available to care for our loved one without worry of interruption in care as needs increase. We will recommend Beneficent to all our friends and relatives. Katie and Philip Sevenants
The team at Beneficient are heaven-sent!
The team at Beneficient are heaven-sent! From my first encounter with their compassionate and knowledgeable staff members, my anxiety and stress of caring for my parents melted away. I had been struggling for over a year and a half on my own to navigate the government and their processes that would ensure the funds, services, and facilities were in place for my elderly parents. In a time when the ongoing pandemic created a difficult landscape to navigate on my own, the angels at Beneficient and their intimate knowledge of the process and contacts seemed like a divine intervention. In a little over a month, they were able to secure their long-term health benefits, direct me on how to best secure my parents' finances, and establish services to care for them. They know what they are doing and do it with a calm and efficient manner. I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL to the ladies at Beneficient. Don't wait another minute to call these wonderfully professional and knowledgeable women!
Beneficent explained our options clearly
Beneficent explained our options clearly. We had never experienced this situation of having a parent whose declining health required admission to a nursing facility. I thought I was well-acquainted with paperwork, as an experienced nurse. However, a Medicaid application is quite an undertaking. We were pleased to have Beneficent to work on this and advise us. We were also pleased to learn that we could retain some of Mom's proceeds from the sale of her house in trust, for her benefit. Using Beneficent, we completed the process for Medicaid application "up front" and did not have that onerous task looming in the future. The trust means that we can do some nice little "extras" like a special chair pad so Mom would be more comfortable, and she could receive better quality glasses and hearing aids compared with the standard ones supplied by Medicaid. All contacts with Beneficent have been pleasant and professional. We did receive "homework" to find and forward documents to complete the process. After speaking with Beneficent, I immediately checked online as to the legality of these arrangements. I am satisfied as to the legal and ethical propriety of setting up an annuity and trust, and also note that a medical social worker from Mom's hospice recommended Beneficent to us.

The Beneficent staff has been so easy to work with as we wind down the complex maze that is Medicaid qualification for my 92-year-old Mom. They are professionals who know the Medicaid benefits field backward and forward. They made the process as understandable as possible for us as they worked, often behind the scenes, with the myriad governmental organizations to make Moms care happen. Cant say enough about how much help theyve been.
Beneficient is highly skilled knowledgeable and trustworthy. It was a pleasure to have them help us with Senior Planning!
Beneficent has been a tremendous help for us getting my 89 year old, disabled mother qualified for Medicaid. The process is arduous and complex and I really don't know how I would have done it without them. They provided expertise and step-by-step instructions, did voluminous paperwork and reassured me when the stress of uncertainty and bureaucracy threatened to become overwhelming. They are knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend their services.
A wonderful service for individuals or families trying to navigate the Medicaid and PACE qualification paperwork. They took a challenging time and made it as easy as possible.
