I reached out to inquire about casket pricing for a family friend, and the individual who answered the phone, possibly Terry as mentioned in other reviews, displayed an incredibly unpleasant and rude attitude. It's baffling how someone can work in an industry meant for assisting those who have lost loved ones while lacking basic compassion. In addition to being unhelpful, he refused to provide pricing, which goes against FTC funeral laws. I plan to report this further, and I encourage others facing similar issues to do the same. The one-star rating for this establishment is well-deserved. I strongly advise against making any purchases here. It's disheartening to witness such poor treatment of potential customers, and action should be taken, either by improving customer service or reconsidering the personnel in charge.
Recommendation: Save yourself the anger. Google another casket company.

I quote he says the services were good but I was able to purchase a casket for my love one for $3000 dollars less online and that it was better then what the mortuary offer and that we only offer 8 units when in fact we offer 36 plus hundreds more in our catalog. Again our mortuary has never taking care of the owner or anyone in his family the review is false and without merit.

In 2018, I bought a beautiful casket from this company and was very well treated. I even recommended it to my friends. BUT, today my husband and I had to call about a casket we had paid for when his mom began hospice care. When she died recently, my husband called about having it delivered , they had NO record of the purchase. The man who spoke to him shouted questions at him, calling him stupid and a piece of ***. My husband keeps scrupulous records and had to find the papers showing he had paid for it. The same man was horribly rude. He would not even LISTEN to what we had or what we wanted. Finally, after pleading with him to calm down and listen to what we wanted, He made things right. I have NEVER had such rude, crude, and hateful behavior by a business. I HOPE this man isn't in charge of the same company that had done so well by me 3 yrs ago. I will NOT recommend this company again. It seems my experience was echoed by many other reviews.
If I could give a zero to this company, I would! The guy in sales that would not give his name, was EXTREMELY rude and insulting right off the back! NO one should be treated in this manner while trying to plan a funeral. Whom ever this guy is needs to be FIRED! If it WAS the owner that I spoke to, he needs to be shut down or boycotted. In contacting Best Price Caskets I learned that they were the supplier for a casket that my family purchased from a local Cleveland area casket store over 10 years ago when a family member passed. Since we were very satisfied with that purchase we decided to make a purchase through the online store. We purchased model 6319, a Champagne split couch casket. The casket was shipped from Texas to Ohio and arrived, as promised, in 24 hours. I was kept informed of the shipping progress which eased my concerns. The casket was as nice as pictured and arrived in perfect condition. The funeral director said he had not seen a casket in this color before and that it was beautifully styled.
I called wanting to buy a casket for my sister who passed away, but I had a very rude employee on the line who wasn't helpful at all and was very sarcastic. You expect these people to be professional or atleast a little understanding but seems they're just interested in money and not providing a good customer experience. I called at 5:10pm pst and spoke to a man like I, said he seemed to not know very much and wasn't professional at all. I was only on the phone for 4 minutes and he displayed all that bad service. He contacted me through this number once I hung up *** but I had called *** hope they change him to another department because he gives terrible customer service.

I happened to mention that I was a Catholic priest, and before I could explain things, the man went into an anti-Catholic diatribe, insulting my profession in such a vile way. I tried to explain that I mentioned I was a priest, not to get special consideration or a discount, but because a priest needs a full couch casket with a removable lid. The salesman listened to nothing I said but continued his disrespectful and vulgar comments! In no way could I ever recommend this business to anyone, especially if they profess the Catholic Faith, for which there appears to be a special animosity on the part of this representative who is a disgrace to this business. God help the grieving individual who would have to deal with him!

purchased a casket for my mother from this company. I spoke with the salesperson telephonically on a Sunday with my mother's funeral planned for Wednesday. The salesperson told me the coffin would arrive the next day. Later that day I received a call back stating that they would be unable to get the casket delivered until 9:30 pm on Tuesday (the day before her funeral) and did I still want to proceed with the purchase. I asked them if I could confirm with the funeral director before proceeding. I then tried to reach the funeral director which took an hr or two. In the interim, I received confirmation email that they had already shipped the coffin. Fortunately, the funeral director was agreeable to receiving the late shipment. On Tuesday evening, I received a message that the shipment was delayed. When I contacted the person (I think possibly the owner/manager) about the shipment, within their listed business hours, he literally yelled at me on the phone for calling "so late". He also could not get the casket there until Wednesday morning. When I raised concerns about having enough time before her viewing and service, he told me that the funeral home "can throw a body in a casket in 5 minutes." I'm not sure that I have ever been treated this rudely in my 50+ years of living and to say this to someone about their newly deceased parent when this is the business you are in is beyond belief! Run, do not walk, away from this company and do not look back!
I had the pleasure to order a casket from Best Price Caskets on February 9th. The salesman I spoke to was Terry. He was very knowledgeable, and he asked me questions which I had never given much thought about, such as how much does my brother weigh, and if he would be able to fit in a casket which is 25 1/2 wide? The size of my brother never entered into my imagination. He was adamant about the size. He told me to make sure I ask the specific question, whether he could fit into a 25 1/2 casket, don't accept "he can fit into a standard casket". He told me he would hate to sell me a larger casket if it wasn't necessary. He told me to call him back when I received the answer. I ordered the casket on February 9th. I was told that it should arrive either Monday, February 15th or Tuesday February 16th at the latest. On Monday morning, I looked at my invoice so I could trace the delivery. I didn't see a tracker number. There was a telephone number on the invoice. I called that number and it didn't go through. I called the two other numbers I had for the company and nothing happened. I panicked. I am thinking, was this a legitimate business? Once I calmed myself down, I remembered, I had ordered a casket in 2017, for my mother. That casket was everything I hoped for and wanted. It was gorgeous. It arrived in plenty of time and it was perfect. So after doing my research, and I was blessed to find a cell phone for Terry. I called Terry on Monday, and he explained to me that because of the storm, the power was out in his buildings and the phone lines and computers were down. He told me to continue calling and if I get through to call him, and he would run to the office. He was only ten minutes away. The lines did not come back up on Monday. I called him first thing Tuesday morning, and he said the electricity was still out. He also asked me if I had called the funeral home to see if it had arrived. I never thought to call the funeral home on Tuesday. I had called them (funeral home) on Monday, and was told they would check and call me back. The funeral home never called back. So following Terry's suggestion, I called the funeral home. I was told they had received a casket and it I would have to come in and make an inspection. I never received a call to come in to make my inspection. Someone from the funeral home called me in reference to another issue, the same day. I inquired about the casket and was told that it was fine, and I didn't need to come in for inspection. That was a relief. I am saying all of this to say, that people are always quick to spread bad news, but seldom report the good news. I didn't write about my pleasant experience from 2017. I am not judging anybody's experiences, I just want to share mine.

I must say that this person was the rudest person I have spoken to in my life being very condescending and then asking me if I was "stupid". Really... especially during a time of such loss. Personally, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars and give my business to somebody who wants it! It is inexcusable to talk to people the way he spoke during our conversation. Now in a panic, it took me a while to find the casket and it turned out that Best Price Caskets did have the best price for it. Delivery charges were quite reasonable, and the casket arrived in perfect condition in just a couple of days. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, even when I had to change the delivery address. Confirmation e-mails of the original order and all changes came immediately. The quality of the casket was better than I had expected at this price point. Everyone commented on how nice it was. My mother would be proud that we saved a few thousand dollars by buying online. Thanks for making a tough time a little easier.

These people were the rudest people I've ever talked to on the phone! I called to ask where a particular casket was manufactured and was told to just buy it at the funeral home and pay the price! I said all I want to know is where was it made and he never would answer me and hung up on me! Very, very rude and completely unprofessional!

Even though they advertise free shipping he tried to charge me $150 for shipping. When I asked about the free shipping, he said it would take a couple more days to get it there by ground and it would arrive on Monday instead of Friday. I said fine. They also offer a "best price guarantee" on their website so I asked him about a competitor price which was about a $120 less than there's. He became very obnoxious and started referring to me as "smart guy". I tried to tell him I am not playing games but am just trying to get a casket for my sister who just passed away. He continued to mock me and tried to tell me he was already "giving me free shipping" and shipping isn't free. About the third time he referred to me "smart guy" I hung up. He then called me back and was belligerent and I hung up again. He then started texting me and I told him to stop texting me. He continued to text me with belligerent comments. I would never do business with this company or any of their affiliates.

I recently purchased my second casket from best price casket. My first purchase was January and my most recent purchase was December . After viewing the website I called to submit my order and received courteous assistance from the representative the casket came quickly as promised and delivered directly to the funeral home. I inspected the casket and was impressed by the quality and the price was much lower than what was offered at the funeral home. My Father was a Veteran and the casket they provided was very fitting to honor him. The beautiful blue lining and the gold medallions on the casket made it look as if I paid more than double the price. If I have the unfortunate need to purchase a casket again I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

This company leads families to believe that their products are of higher quality than what funeral homes provide. They sold my family a poorly constructed and scratched casket. When we called to report the issues with the product they would only refund part of the shipping amount. They also called the Funeral Service Provider that we used and told them they were going to leave a good review for them and instead they left an advertisement for other companies saying that it is better to shop online as opposed to shopping with the Funeral Service Provider that you have trusted for the final disposition of your loved one. The review that they left for the Funeral Home reads: " ( Funeral Home Name) is thousands of dollars more than similar caskets online. The funeral home is required to accept outside caskets and not charge anything to accept them. Shop on Google for your casket by typing in "Casket" on a Google Search. Get it next day and same thousands and have a better selection to pick from."

Folks, READ the ComplaintsBoard.com Reviews. The "A" ComplaintsBoard.com rating on their website is BS,... they do NOT have an "A" rating. The two bit sales guy *** is a rude, condescending complete ***. This fast talking guy is the kind that always thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. This [censored] answers questions that haven't been asked and constantly interrupts during the call. He has a canned spiel about the cost of refrigerators and how they are just selling steel boxes without all the refrigerator parts and how everyone charges $5,000, $6,000 or more for what they only charge $1,000 . Their cost isn't low, it's just the others are ripping you off...blah, blah, blah.
When I asked a question about where the caskets are manufactured, he went completely ballistic and started yelling...He then told me I was overthinking the purchase and I should just buy from the funeral home and then hung up on me. When I called back, a young woman answered and he refused to get on the phone and twas hung up on again. This mentally unstable *** is in the wrong business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Oh, and beware, they operate under a different websites...check the phone number and layout of the site...

I would leave a minus 10 stars if possible. My Uncle called this evening to order a casket for my Aunt who passed away and were informed that their free ground shipping was not free but 150.00. I then called and spoke to Terry, when I explained that I had previously ordered from them and was not charged shipping, he put the phone down and had a conversation with someone else about an employee being 3 hours late today and that they pay their warehouse people 14.50 per hour. I then realized that he meant to hang up on me. I called back and spoke to Pat who was very nice and she told me that there was no shipping fee. My Uncle called back to order and Terry refused to let him speak to Pat. He was rude again so the order was not placed. Terry then called me and asked if we were stupid and then TOLD me we were indeed stupid and hung up on me. I called him back several times and he would pick the phone up and hang up then he blocked my number. I finally called back from my husbands phone and Terry answered with"are you ready to apologize?" I asked what I needed to apologize for and he told me for calling to [censored] and be a [censored]. I have never dealt with someone so rude and disrespectful in my life. There is something definitely wrong with this man. He needs psychiatric treatment soon.
