Beware of Bikeinn: Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Practices
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Bikeinn. I ordered a helmet and some other stuff about a month ago, but the helmet just kept getting delayed. I asked if they could just send me the other items first, but they said they had to deliver the whole order together. I mean, come on, that's just not fair.
They couldn't even tell me when the helmet would arrive, and they gave me two options: either keep waiting or delete the helmet from the order. I asked how much they'd refund me if I deleted it, but they wouldn't tell me. I needed to know so I could figure out if it was worth it to keep waiting for the bundled shipping savings on the other items. But nope, they just kept insisting I delete the helmet first.
After a lot of back and forth, they finally gave me an estimate of the refund amount. It wasn't great, but I agreed to delete the helmet anyway. And then, after I deleted it, they told me the refund amount was even less than the estimate they gave me! I tried to explain the issue to them, but they just stopped responding.
So now, I've ended up paying way more for the other items than I would have if I'd just bought them separately without the helmet. And they've basically taken away the discount they promised me for the whole order. It's just not right.
Honestly, Bikeinn's approach is pretty terrible. Their advertised delivery dates aren't accurate, they don't communicate delays until the day the item was supposed to ship, they won't take responsibility for anything, and they give you options that don't actually help. And all of this while they've already taken your money! It's just not fair.
This was my first time buying from Bikeinn, and I feel like I got cheated. So if you're thinking about buying from them, just be careful.

Bikeinn is a website that I have used multiple times to purchase cycling equipment. However, I have had some issues with their pricing and customer service when it comes to international orders.
Firstly, Bikeinn has confirmed to me in writing that they would not charge me the Spanish VAT for deliveries outside of the European Union. However, they only accept payment in the local currency of the delivery country, which in my case was Swiss Francs. I ordered a device with a purchase price of 799.00 Euros, which includes the 21% Spanish VAT. This means that the purchase price without VAT is 660.33 Euros. However, Bikeinn charged me 810.96 CHF, which includes 21.99 CHF for transport. When I asked about the high price, I received different and evasive answers from each customer service representative. They mostly told me that Bikeinn has no control over additional customs and transport fees, even though these fees have nothing to do with the purchase price and are billed separately by the Swiss customs.
One customer service representative even wrote to me in an email that I was charged 731.85 Euros, which corresponds to the 810.96 CHF. This means that I was charged around 714.00 Euros for the device, not 660.33 Euros. This is an extra cost of about 8%. Interestingly, this extra cost is almost exactly the same as the Swiss VAT that Swiss customers have to pay when shopping abroad!
In conclusion, I believe that Bikeinn is not interested in providing transparent pricing information. They charge arbitrary prices for international orders and hope that customers won't notice because they are charged in the local currency. The customer service is overwhelmed and not interested in providing open and honest information. Additionally, the pricing structure is likely designed to make foreign buyers believe that Bikeinn ships with (pre-) customs clearance, which is not the case. Therefore, I recommend shopping at other online stores, such as Bike-Discount or Rose-Bikes in Germany. These stores allow payment in Euros and provide transparent billing information. They also ship with pre-cleared customs to countries outside the European Union, so the final price is clearly visible.

Bike INN Review: Frustrating Experience with Shipping and Customer Service
I bought a bike computer from Bike INN back in June 11, 2022. It was a great deal, only cost me about $31 total. However, it's now November 11, 2022, and I still haven't received it. I've been tracking it through their website, and the last update was on June 28, when it supposedly cleared US Customs in Chicago and was on its way to me in Colorado.
I started to get worried when I hadn't received it by July 10, so I contacted BikeINN. I sent them at least 8 emails or contacts through their website, but they just kept telling me to call the USPS and US Customs. I did that, and the USPS said they had never received the package from customs. Customs said they passed it on to USPS. USPS said they thought it was probably stolen. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least.
Bike INN did send me an email with a form attached to fill out for their shipping company, but the attachment was missing. I had to send them another email to let them know. Finally, on November 7, I received another email with the form attached. I printed it out, filled it out, scanned it into a PDF, and attached it to an email I sent them. Today, they sent me an email saying they checked with their shippers, but it was after the deadline, so they couldn't do anything about it.
I had sent an email to Bike Inn on November 5, giving them until November 15 to refund my money on this order. Their website claims that they have a personalized customer service team that's available 24 hours a day via chat, email, or telephone. However, I didn't find this to be the case. In two of my emails, I told them that I didn't think they were even listening to me or reading my emails. I would tell them that it had been several months since I had ordered, several months since any new tracking information had come, and I wanted my money back. I even told them what USPS had said. But the next day or two, I would get back what appeared to be a form response that the order was on its way, please be patient.
This was the second time I had ordered from them. The first time, I had no problems at all. But this time has been ridiculous. They do have great prices, but I didn't find any satisfaction at all from my communication with them. I don't plan to order from them again.

I recently bought the Elite Arion Digital Smart B+ roller from Bikeinn (bikeinn.com) for $380, a seemingly good deal since they sell for over $650 new. However, upon receiving the rollers, I was disappointed to see that the box looked old and worn, and two plug adapters that should have been included were missing. I had to purchase an adapter from Amazon and wait a week for it to arrive.
When I finally plugged in the rollers, they made a loud buzzing noise and then stopped working altogether. I was unable to connect to them via ant+ or Bluetooth. It was clear that I had been sent a defective and used unit, as evidenced by the gunk around the stickers and the overall worn appearance.

To make matters even more frustrating, I was also informed that the order could not be cancelled or refunded until I received it and sent it back - which seemed highly unlikely given the circumstances.
This unfortunate situation left me feeling completely helpless as a customer. Hello fellow bike enthusiasts! I wanted to share an experience I had with Bikeinn (bikeinn.com) in regards to purchasing a tyre. Specifically, I ordered a tyre on July 17th, 2021 and as of today, I have yet to receive it even though it was showing "IN STOCK" at the time of my purchase.
I have reached out to the company multiple times and they reported that there is a delay in their warehouse of 4 months. Yes, you read that right, a FOUR month delay. I was quite frustrated, to say the least, considering I purchased the same tyre from another bike shop (albeit more expensive) and it was delivered promptly just a few days later.
However, I still have not cancelled my Bikeinn order as I find the situation quite amusing at this point and I'm curious to see when (or if) it will finally get delivered or if the company will admit defeat.
The tyre still shows as being delivered in 2 more weeks, but this changes daily and is always 2 weeks from the day you log into your account. Although Bikeinn does respond to my emails, they don't answer all my questions such as what does "in stock" actually mean? Where is the tyre currently? And why is there such a delay?
I understand that COVID, Brexit, and Ever Green getting stuck have all had implications for shipping, but this delay seems excessive for an item that was supposedly "in stock." Additionally, having the raw materials and knowing the company that makes the tyre, should that not guarantee that it is in stock nowadays?
I just wanted to share this experience with all of you, so you can be aware that if you need something quickly and it appears to be "in stock" on Bikeinn's website, it could mean anything. Keep this in mind if you plan on ordering from them.
