I ordered a 12 months supply nearly 6 weeks ago. Recently received a letter from HPRA Ireland indicating that import of this item is not permitted. I spoke to them, and it was indicated the product will be destroyed and would need to contact the supplier for reimbursement. I made contact with Biovea Ireland on several occasions by email. They indicated they would issue a credit on my account. I replied asking for full reimbursement which was refused. I need full reimbursement as I do not need any other item they sell and indeed could not guarantee that they would be allowed.
There is no indication that when ordering from Biovea Ireland that the items are actually being imported from USA, hence no need to check on legality of import. I have since checked that a rival site that is called Minoxidil direct has a note on it's site that they cannot deliver to Ireland due to import restrictions. No such indication on Biovea Ireland.
I cannot afford a credit, can only accept a full reimbursement especially in view of their neglect.
