Same thing happened to me. I got billed three times on my credit card for 19.99, twice in one day. The entry on my statement is "Check Card BLIZZARD-ENT*ELECUPGRD [protected] Date 06/10/07. Billed twice on 06/12. Searched for "blizzard billing" online and got the "World of Warcraft" billing site. I have never gone to this site and never done business there. Someone is fraudulently charging my account without my knowledge. Tomorrow I will call my bank and hopefully get the charges removed. Someone need to go to jail for this BS!

Same thing happened to me. I got billed three times on my debit card for $21.44, $19.99, and $21.79 all in one day. The entry on my statement is EFT BLIZZARD-ENT*ELECUPGRD [protected] CAUS Date 07/05/07. Searched for "blizzard ent" online and got several matches but am unable to retrieve at work because of of their sites are filtered as "GAMES". I have never gone to this site and never done business there. Someone is fraudulently charging my account without my knowledge. I will be reporting this to my bank and file a "Written Statement under Penalty of Perjury for Unauthorized/Improper ACH Debit Activity" form.

I am not really here to discuss this complaint. I am here discussing the fact that Blizzard makes ### Diablo expansion disks, i strongly recommend they change there disks because i have purchased 4 disks now, prior to the fact that they all break. I was enjoying my game when all of a sudden the disk tray was making odd noises, so i opened it, and out came the disk snapped in two pieces, if any one wants proof i have pictures of this, on my email. If this topic has happened to you before, email me.

Your account probably got hacked. Mine had the same thing happen, but it's not Blizzard's fault.

There's nothing wrong with Blizzard Entertainment. It's likely some hacker has stolen your information and you need to speak with your bank about getting your credit cards shut down to prevent further charges. Blizzard Entertainment is a reliable and honest company, I have never had any problems with them nor have I heard of any real problems caused by them.

As for the Diablo discs, that game is ancient. The discs snapping may or may not be the manufacturer's fault. Have you tried seeing what speed your disc reader runs at? The whole "disc snapping in tray" bit is an urban legend that I've seen happen only once.

Blizzard has the worst customer service divison I've encountered in some time. They ran a prom0tion when my account (I had not used for a year) was up for renewal. Since they ran the promotion (Blizzcon) their customer service line rang busy for a week. Once I got ahold of them, the same day the charge was going through, they stated they had no facilities to reverse the charge. They told me, since they did not have facilities, I needed to perform a chargeback on my creditcard. They then had paymentech dispute the chargeback...claiming there was activity on my account... Their exhibit in the same letter showed there had been no activity on the account. A complete hassle. They need to get their act together. For bi-annual and yearly subscriptions they need to notify individuals when they are up for renewal and let them "elect" to be charged if they aren't going to maintain facilities for refunds when they screw up.

Ugh so annoying! I don't even know what this crap is! I got two random charges on my statement both $19.99 and they are pending right now (7/27/09). I will definitely call my bank tomorrow. I will tell my bank to always take these charges off if that is even possible? I have never used their website before and I never will. I don't even like online games?!

Well, out of the blue, I received an e-mail from blizzard regarding my World of Warcraft account to report a request for password change on the account. The problem is that, to my knowledge, I have never had an account--certainly have never used it. I sent back an e-mail stating that I was unaware I had an account and had not requested a change in password. I requested that they cancel any account they had for me in their records. The response I received was another e-mail exactly like the first one--notifying me of a request for password change. After that one, I thought it better to call the telephone number on the message and discuss it with a customer service representative. That was a mistake. After making several calls, I got the identical response... a message saying they were experiencing an unusually heavy call volume and (unlike what I'm used to hearing from other organizations--"please remain on the line and your call will be answered by the next available representative" or "your call is very important to us and will be answered as soon as possible in the order in which it was received")... NOOOOOO. The message on EVERY call attempt was "we are unable to take your call at this time". My next attempt was to send another e-mail to blizzard and to wowaccounts@blizzard (or whatever they say in the e-mail) under the title "URGENT-POSSIBLE FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT" asking for their action and response by e-mail. I got the same response---either NOTHING or another e-mail notifying me that a request for password change had been made and that I should get in contact with them if I had not requested the change.

SUCK! comes nowhere near describing the BS account services of this POS company. I still have no resolution and am getting tired of trying to contact them.

The company may not be responsible but they definitely seem to have a large amount of customers who have no problem spending stolen money. I had my account fraudulently accessed last night by them for $19.99 and I think this company definitely should beef up their validation of payments received.

I have been playing World of Warcraft for about a year now and wanted to make sure everyone who considers buying the game is fully informed. If you choose to play, then you have to choose a server to play on. You should expect that your server, just like everyone else's, will be down for maintenance at least one day per week. Additionally, you should expect significant delays in the late afternoon and evenings logging on to the game and in accessing the more popular portions of the game once you have logged on. In fact, some evenings you may not be able access the most popular portions of the game at all. Finally, there is really no way to complain to Blizzard about these issues as they essentially have no customer service - it takes days to get a surly, unhelpful response. The unfortunate bottom line is that Blizzard does not allocate sufficient resources to ensure smooth consistent game play and these problems are only getting worse as time goes on.

If you don't like it, don't play *shrug*

That's what Blizzard (now owned by Activision) believes.

I had a $99.95 unauthorized charge go thru on my debit card from Blizzard. My credit union put a hold on the card when another charge- this time for even more- was attempted right after the first went through.
I tried to call Blizzard all through the day, their billing dept, to no avail ("our waiting queue is full, call back later") after canceling my card.
Seeing so many of these items with Blizzard, though - going back three years- makes me think that perhaps it's time they used a little better security- and answered their phones. CA Attorney General Report can be filled out online, here:
http://ag.ca.gov/contact/complaint_form.php?cmplt=CL
Please- let's find out what they're doing to heighten their security in response to these unauthorized charges- and if they're not doing anything, ask the CA Attorney General to make them.

I have been having the most annoying time with Blizzards battle.net. I first of all just barley bought the game Star Craft 2 and the only way to play it is if you have a blizzard account. I remembered that I had an old battlenet account from playing world of warcraft so i decided to try and use that, it of course required a password and i could not remember for my life what it was. So it asked me my password security questions and i got them all right up to my last question. It asked what is the name of the high school you graduated from, so i typed it in and it said the answer was incorrect. So after about 20 minutes of trying different combinations of spelling the high school or trying out different things i decided i would rather just make another account. I made another email account and went back to the website to register it for a bnet account. So I filled out all the information and clicked the accept button and nothing happened. I tried refreshing the page i tried click the button a million times but yet it would do nothing. I wasted over an hour and a half trying to get around bnet and its stupid system all to come out with nothing. I wish that blizzard would just make it easier to recover your stupid account so that you don't have to go through a whole stupid process.

Two things.. If you want new content in your game you have to realize that it takes work from them to do that and time for servers to be down apply said content.. not to mention that just like with anything on the computer there are glitches that they have to fix which takes servers being down.

As for the lag in certain places and certain times of day... What you're saying is it's their fault that they made such an awesome game that millions of people play it and they've struggled at times to keep up. I mean the game community grows daily.

My suggestion is if you don't like the lag move servers. I had lag issues on Scarlet Crusade so I moved to Lightbringer... No lag at all now.. and I"m on dial up.. lame I know, but I live in a rural area and it's all I can get. =(

I've been playing WOW for 3 years and I've had it with the aggressive attitude of some players and the abusive and racist remarks they make. I emailed WOW if they don't do anything about it I'm going further. Takes the fun out of the game for everyone. They need to put in place stricter rules and guidelines to clean the system of the bad stuff and should be monitoring the game more closely. They have a duty of care for keeping the cyber bullies away.
