Sick puppies
I purchased an older puppy, (11 months) from Blue Rose Cavaliers in November 2022. We've had him for a year now and absolutely love him so much. He was very skinny when I got him (11 lbs) and quickly gained a couple pounds in the first few months. He was a ravenous eater when we first got him, now since food's been stable he's become a grazer. He sit...

If you have had or are currently having issues with Blue Rose Cavaliers, John & Acacia Kobel, PLEASE CONTACT, Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Doug Zarek, doug. [protected]@nebraska.gov, [protected].
I was told by John Kobel/Blue Rose Cavaliers, Crawford, NE, that Nathan aka Oliver did have a cough and they were resolving the problem. When I met John Kobel at Subway (red flag) he told me that Nathan had inhaled water during his bath that morning. The reason the puppy was sneezing and coughing. He must have forgot that he had mentioned the puppies cough in past phone conversations. My vet tried everything, the cough didn't completely go away. He was treated for giardia 3x's. My vet then suggested, Blue Pearl Hospital, MN, they tried switching meds. etc with no luck. I then brought him to the University of MN Veterinary Medical Center. We finally found that Doxycycline worked. Through all this he has had two Bronchoscopy's (cultures grew Bordatella, Morazella) and has had numerous chest x-rays. He was diagnosed with Chronic bacterial pneumonia with Bordatella bronchiseptica and mycoplasmosis. I was told that this was a very resistant bacteria. He now has been off Doxycycline for about 3 weeks. His cough is gone. He may be predisposed to lung issues in the future due to the length of his illness.
June 2020, two new postings of sick puppies. The problem of sick puppies still continues. Please read all postings on Blue Rose Cavaliers - puppy mill, (Resolved).

We had a bronchoscopy conducted to try to figure out what medication would help and she died during that procedure. They have been refusive in every way shape and form. We believe they have a puppy mill and...
