BluePearl Veterinary Partners They killed my dog

They killed my dog, then instead of taking responsibility, tried to blame it on him. I will never stop telling people what a horrible place BluePearl is, ESPECIALLY their internal medicine department. Their attitude was "He's just a dog." That was said directly to my face. I have no monetary recourse or I would have sued their internal medicine specialist a long, long time ago. So take all of this how you will, but I urge you to not risk your baby's life with these incredibly callous people. Thank you for your time.

Recommendation: Stay away from BluePearl of Irvine!

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Stay away from blue pearl they severely mistreat your pets

Do not go here. They Severely mistreat animals

This is the first negative review that I've ever left and it is definitely warranted

I brought my neighbors 4 year old healthy German Shepard in. I told them I was driving my truck and he ran underneath it, but was not run over by the tires. I felt compelled to get him checked out. After them putting him in a cage for 4 hours, my neighbor asked the receptionist what's going on. 10 minutes later we were called back into the examining room

The vet said that she ultrasounded him, along with saying that she didn't hear any fluid or in his lungs or abdomen. But felt the need to xray him anyway. She told me that she had a treatment plan I asked to see the treatment plan.

A tech came in. I asked her what the vet did so far. She replied nothing was done yet hes in a cage. I asked her if the Vet utra sounded him, she replied no. I was there with my neighbor the dogs owner. After seeing what was really going on, we decided to take his dog home. I asked to see him they wouldn't let us. They said that we wouldn't be able to see him until they gave him an injection.

When I declined there $1800 estimate for xrays after being lied to. The vet came back with her sales pitch and said that he wont survive the night

Along with a new treatment plan for $1945.00 for shaving a few scraped areas. With additional fees for anything else past the shaving. My bill was $309.00 for an injection and 15 pills. That aren't even $20.00

Thank God that

he had some superficial wounds and is doing fine.

They are an unethical billing factory.

The worst part is the dog walked in fine on his own. He sat next to me when I was filling out there paperwork, and got up on his own walking at a fast pace to go out the door.

When I declined there treatment plan

They dragged the dog out with a body sling causing extreme pain to the dog as evidenced by its yelping and heavy breathing. This mistreatment brought tears to my eyes, and was so totally unwarranted.

I immediately told the tech to let the dog go. You know that your hurting him and causing extreme pain by mangling his body like that.

She told me he was acting like that because of the injection.

Which is a lie. He was lethargic from the injection and should of used a Gurnee or blanket to move him. His crying was blood curdling. Even an idiot would know that your abusing and mistreating an animal.

I told them that I had worked as a fireman. Do they have a blanket or sheet for me to move him. After asking 4 times they loaned me one and I carried him to the car. From when I picked him up he stopped crying and breathing heavy. When I got home he walked into the house on his own. When the receptionist came to the car to retrieve there blanket. I told her that I am very experienced in moving bodies. Being in the medical industry, they should also know these simple things. My neighbor and

I truly believe that a Blue Pearl employee mangled and dragged him out of spite. For me declining there services. I asked the vet for pain pills for him, along with a pain injection. As I believed that the scrapes were causing him discomfort and some pain.

Im really aggravated with myself, as they were the closest animal hospital by me. When the receptionist came out to retrieve there blanket. I told her that was totally wrong and negligent

How they mistreated him As she witnessed me move him, I let her know the importance of the blanket. She acted like she didnt care, and our conversation

was boring her. She non challantly replied I guess that ill bring it up at the next board meeting. With no remorse,

Of witnessing the excruciating pain from the dog. Do yourself a favor and Google Blue Pearl animal hospital. After you read all of the complaints on many websites. That patients state MISTREATMENT and ridiculously high bills. Im sure that you will run away fast from Blue Pearl. I am posting this, so that no animal or human has to go thru this pain and suffering.

If I was able to rate them, it would be

Minus -100 stars

Recommendation: Stay Far Away from this place They abuse your animals and charge ridiculous amounts of money. They also lie about treating your pet

We visited the BluePearl, Avondale AZ location on Sunday 8/20 at 10:45am. Our puppy had suffered a laceration to his hind leg and after waiting until about 12pm were told it was an arterial bleed and needed surgery to repair. We suggested alternative treatments and the Vet insisted on this being something serious and needing to put the dog under anesthesia...

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Expense

My experience with Blue Pearl in Virginia Beach reveals it to be an emergency care vet of last resort. Their primary goal appears to be profit as opposed to animal care. Should you have the unfortunate opportunity of needing their services, I suggest you bring all of your money and leave any expectations at the door.

I was referred there by my Vet for an unknown condition causing my dog to be lethargic. After the tech examined my dog and left to discuss with a doctor (I presume because I never spoke with a doctor), she returned to inform me they wanted to place my dog on an IV for 2 days of observation at a cost $3,800.00. My regular Vet was doing the same for a little over $200 per day. I declined, left with my dog and returned to my Vet the following day and had her catheter removed. The following day she was back to normal.

Should the need arise, I will drive out of my way to seek another emergency Vet.

Desired outcome: Desired outcome? You must be kidding. We're discussing Blue Peart and they will maintain the status quo.

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Blue Pearl Emergency Vet - medical care of my cat.

I brought my pet to Blue Pearl located on Abernathy Rd. In Sandy Springs, Ga. On July 5, 2022. Rosie, my cat, was throwing up and straining to have a bowel movement. This went on for a couple of hours before I brought her in. An assistant came into room and took notes before taking Rosie. I never saw a vet beforehand. A vet came into the room and told me that Rosie’s vitals were good and she could not feel that Rosie was constipated. She kept referring to Rosie straining to urinate and I had to correct her. She said they were going to hydrate Rosie and give her an antibiotic. I brought Rosie home and she didn’t move from her bed for two days. She cannot go up or down the stairs. The vet gave me canned cat food that she wasn’t interested in. A week later she has begun to eat very little. She has become very thin and her back legs won’t support her. I have considered putting her down but my husband protested so she’s still here with no quality of life.

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Emergency care

Called to come in for apt at 6:15 for emergency assessment. They took my dog to the back. Sent me to a room to wait, they left my dog w/ my friend. Did not come talk to me. Said it would be a few hours my dog was not critical. I told them my 13 lb dog had thrown up 10 x's before and 2 x's after arrival. We waited for 2.5 hrs to be seen. Nothing, I ask how much longer with still no answer. They said my dog had to be Critical to be seen! Turns out MY DOG almost died waiting on them to tell me if my dog was critical! Left Blue Pearl called another 24 hr Emergency Care and we drove straight there and they instantly put my dog on a IV. He was severely dehydrated at a 70. Normal is around 40/45. This is not acceptable care for anyone. My dog was in Critical Care for over 24 hours. NO thanks to Blue Pearl. He was in pain, shaking, crying and scared and so were we. You did nothing but sit and order your dinner and ignore us. My dog had Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis and Pancreatitis.

Desired outcome: MY DOG almost died because of YOU VET bill over $4000 Would you donate to pay for the care you didn't? He was in critical care for 2 days you should have given IV. Just because you cant see it does NOT mean they are NOT CRITICAL!

BluePearl Veterinary Partners bluepearl animal hospital provided me unethical, awful, unprofessional, undignified treatment of my beloved dog

I took my dog to Blue Pearl February 15th not know that would be the very last time I saw her. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis in early stages where with fluids and treatment she would of been okay. They saw that she needed immediate treatment but the only thing they were concerned about is collecting 10, 000 dollars from me first! 2000 a day for 5 days is what they said she would need. Then when I explained to them that I don't have that kind of disposable cash on me can we please set up a payment plan, I pay some up front, what are my options? The only other options she gave me was well you should put your dog to sleep! They never did any test, no x-rays but yet they came to the conclusion that she needed to be put to sleep. My doggie never had a long chronic illness, she was only 10.5 years old, great hearing, teeth, ears, she was a mini schnauzer and pancreatitis is extremely common in schnauzers but treatable.

I told the doctor that she would be okay, the other hospital gave me medicine that would temporarily relieve any pain she was experiencing in addition make her quezy, sleepy. I explained that to the young inexperienced doctor over and over again.

She continued to convenience me that there was no hope I should put her to sleep. You want to believe that doctors know best but now I know doctors are many times wrong time and time again. Because when she went to inject the first needle in her arm filled with anesthesia my dog jumped up, immediately popped her head up like what the heck are you doing to me? I could tell by the doctors reaction this was not common for dog to do that! Before I could tell her to stop she hurry up and put the other stuff in her that stopped her heart and she died!

I moved here for a good life, and we had finally had that. It was just me and my awesome dog Ceelie. She still had a some good years ahead. She never got a chance to enjoy the house I had just purchased with the fenced in back yard where she could play and be safe. I will never be able to get a paw handshake from her ever again. We will never be able to do the downward facing dog stretch every morning like we use to do. I will never be able to look into the happiest pretty brown eyes again. She was my dear best friend and because of Awful BLUE PEARL VET HOSPITAL my happiness' that I felt is gone! Ceelie had survived a pit-bull attack and for once in her life she deserved to be happy and this hospital robbed her and me of that!

Thank you so much for putting money before saving an animals life! And you should be ashamed of your selves for wanting me to pay you money to have my dogs ashes returned back to me after I had already paid to have her cremated! SHAME ON YOU!

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Cat given clean bill of health by bluepearl dies soon after minor procedure

Took my 15-yr-old healthy, active and vibrant cat to BluePearl on W.55th St., NYC, because he had trouble having a bowel movement the Sunday before Labor Day. After $3000 worth of diagnostic tests (blood, urine, culture, sonogram, xray, etc.) they could find NOTHING wrong with him, so they gave him an enema for the constipation and kept him overnight with an IV drip because he was dehydrated. Picked him up the next day and he looked half-dead. He went steadily downhill over the next 10 days and today his regular vet advised me to put him to sleep. Now my little companion of 13 years is gone and I don't know why. I am heartbroken and inconsolable.

My dog was referred here end of December 2011 by our regular vet, withe a diagnosis of a recurrence of thyroid cancer. She had successful surgery at another NYC animal hospital -with no complications- there years previously. A/c to check-up on the 22 Dec. blood work and x-rays showed her in excellent health otherwise, even as a 14-year old terrier. 1...
