Ordered 2 kayaks, 2 coolers, 2 wet bags, 2 deluxe paddle leashes back on 4/22 I have received the Kayaks, wet bags, 1 cooler which has already broke and the 1 Kayak is missing the D rings that hold down the seat and no deluxe paddle leashes. I have sent over 26 emails and 4 phone calls and keep getting promises that they will complete the order but to no avail. Order #

Placed an order over a month ago. There was a wait as the color I chose wasn't available at the time. On 5/27 I received an email stating i would receive tracking info within a week. Several emails with the same response later it is now 6/19 and my purchase has yet to be shipped. I decided to file this complaint after looking at other reviews for this company and seeing I'm not alone in this issue.

Customer service is horrifying
Customer service is horrifying. The company failed to complete my order which included a tandem kayak with two aluminum kayak seats for a total price of $987.00. Order was never fulfilled by company after full payment was rendered on June 1. I received a tandem kayak and one aluminum seat only. The other aluminum seat valued at 149$ was never delivered. Company is failing to fulfill my order after full payment was issued to company.

We ordered a kayak on February 14 with a promised 2 week delivery. As of April 20 no kayak. We have called them numerous times and each time they promise to ship the kayak within a week. Their customer service is friendly but have not resolved the problem. It feels like we are being scammed.

I paid for a kayak from Brooklyn Kayak in April. They said 4-6 weeks: but as soon as I paid, they changed it to 6-8 weeks. I called several times after 8 weeks, and they told me it's shipped and should be there in a week. Several weeks past, and no kayak. I called again, but now BK doesn't answer their phone. No doubt because they are getting numerous complaints. I sent emails, and was told the same BS...it's shipped, and I should get it in a week.

I was told that the products I ordered would be delivered within a couple of months. It has been 5 months, multiple phone calls and emails to the company and delivery service. I still have not received my Kayaks. The company blames it on tbe delivery service, but they are the ones who contracted with them. I have not been able to resolve the issue.
First I would like to say that Brooklyn Kayak's billing deparment is world class. On [protected] they took $888.30 out of my bank. For the purchese of one of their tandem kayaks. Today (three months and three days later) no kayak. I called two weeks ago and they said it had shipped out, but still no kayak. Hopefully it will be here before ice fishing season here in Missouri!

Hello: Ordered a kayak from this company on 2/16 order # ***. -- they stated shipment in 4-6 weeks from placing order and 10-20 days in transit -- have had multiple ongoing interactions with them with ongoing missed ETA delivery dates -- zero follow thru from Brooklyn kayak and no word or notice from shippers. have asked Brooklyn tosend a replacement kayak, no response. They have taken my money and have not met their promise -- continuing to misrepresent, providing me with no followup. At a minimum, they could express deliver a new kayak to me immediately.

I ordered a tandem kayak from Brooklyn Kayak company on April 11 for $1050.30, with them indicating the delivery could take as much as 11 weeks. Payment was made immediately upon purchase. It is now 12.5 weeks with no word when this kayak will be delivered. Customer service has been terrible as they seem to want to argue with the customer about whether it has been 11 or 12 weeks (when you can easily open a calendar and confirm it has been over 12 weeks) rather than providing an actual honest status update. At this point all I want to know is when this will be delivered so I can decide if I should just go with a company with a better reputation and possibly have a kayak before the summer is over.

Contacted company today 6/21 ( 8 weeks and 2 days after order was Placed ) and am being told part wouid arrive in 2-4 weeks it would take 10-20 days to arrange for shipment and shipment would take 3-4weeks after that s 13-15weekss or a 250% increase in lead times. Problem is I was given the same excuse 2 weeks ago when I contacted the company concerning shipment The customer service provided from this company is a joke and the deilbertly lie about their lead times. to get your order and money ,, then use your money for 13-15 weeks. If you want to do business with a reputable company do not do business with Brooklyn Kayak Company This company is is run by New Yorkers who are experienced at screwing their customers and provide terrible customer service.

I ordered and paid for a kayak on February 21 from Brooklyn Kayak Company. They day that I placed my order this company they took $573.30 from my checking account. I was happy to place this order and even happy to pay for it. While placing this order I was informed that it could be 4 to 6 weeks until delivery. I was fine with that. When that expected delivery date expired, they sent me an email saying it would be another month. I emailed them back stating that I am hopeful to get the kayak before the end of that month because I had made plans to use it in May with friends. It has now been 15 weeks since the order was placed. I have made numerous attempts to try to get them to send me my kayak. I am truly disappointed. I want my kayak ASAP. At this time I am even thinking I should get my money back as well. Please help me. I do not feel like a valued customer to this company at all. They have my money and the original agreement was4 to 6 weeks.

I purchased a Kayak from Brooklynn Kayak company on June 25th with the expectation to receive a shipping notice in 4-6 weeks. after 7 weeks, I contacted the company via email and they informed me my kayak would ship within a week. I again never received a shipping notification so contacted the company via email again. They called me and were unable to give me a reason for why my kayak had not shipped and estimated it would again ship by the end of the week. The company made no attempt to inform me that shipping would be delayed beyond the initial 4-6 week estimate as they should have. They are making no effort to give an accurate timeline on when my purchased product of $690.30 will be made available to me although I have requested on multiple occasions for transparency. I understand that delays happen, but the company is continuing to mis inform buyers of expectations, take their money, and make no effort to keep them updated nor are they able to provide transparent insight into where the products are when you talk to them in person. this is beyond concerning.

I purchased a kayak and accessories from this company on May 27 online. It wasn't until August 7th that I finally received notification from AM Trucking company to set up delivery of the kayak. The initial delivery attempt was going to be made on August 13th. Unfortunately I was out-of-town from August 13th - August 25th. I asked to have the delivery delayed until my return. The next delivery date set up by AM trucking was on August 26th between 5p-9p. The kayak never arrived on this date. The next day I called the trucking company to figure out why the kayak hadn't been delivered. They told me initially that they could not find my address but subsequently they informed me that the kayak was missing. I attempted to contact Brooklyn Kayak Company (BKC) via email August 26th to request help. A new date was attempted for September 3rd. On this date the Kayak never arrived. However, AM trucking showed that it had been delivered 2 minutes after they left the warehouse at 1:45a on this date. Numerous calls and emails have been made to AM trucking and BKC to resolve this issue. As of Sept 3rd after this incident I asked BKC to cancel this order and issue a refund. I have reached out to AM trucking to update their system to show the kayak has never been delivered. AM trucking has attempted to set up another delivery and changed the new has been delivered date to Sept 11th. When I call they clearly show in the system that it has never been delivered. My wife has made numerous attempts to have their website updated to no avail. Has expressed frustration with BKC to cancel and issue the refund to no avail. We want to cancel this order and have no help from BKC to call AM trucking to cancel delivery in order to issue the refund. All email and voicemail correspondence has been saved. All can be made available as well as phone records if needed.
