Propecia reviews and complaints
theft or mishandling
For years I've filled my Propecia prescription at CVS in Silver Spring, MD (Montgomery Hills store). They came in sealed 30 tablet bottles from Merck of which I received 3 bottles per refill. Eventually CVS pharmacists decided to start opening the 3 bottles and placing the tablets into a single CVS bottle. So I started counting the pills. Nearly every time the count came up short by 1-4 pills! That's about $2 per pill that I pay for. Are they so clumsy that they spilled them on the floor or was it theft by the pharmacy employee? I would have to assume the latter. Either way they have no business opening sealed bottles. It invites problems. They continued this practice even after I told them not to. The manager was conveniently never there when I asked to see him/her. I'll never fill a prescription there anymore. ALWAYS COUNT YOUR PILLS!

Scam
There's a sucker born everyday and I guess mine came at a later age. Canadian Neighbor Pharmacy is a SCAM! They are NOT real! I went to my bank to see about getting my money back and filing a fraudulent charge I was told by my rep that there is a $15 charge for this service, it would take up to 90 days to process this claim, and there are no guarantees that they would be able to retrieve my funds. Now, I am with a local bank (locations only in 3 southeastern states). I know that the nationwide type banks; such as, Bank of America, Sun Trust, Regions, etc. offer a guarantee to get you money back, but that does no good for people like me. Oh well, lesson learned on my part. I should have done my research like I always have when buying products online, but for some reason I didn't do that with this company and look where it got me...$160 less to my name and I will have to go elsewhere to by this medication. Go figure... Again...STIR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!
