I was going down the escalator ramp for shopping carts, right outside the superstore indicated. I got hit on the left heel, leaving trauma and limping. Had to get a doctors note.
The shopping cart was unable to engage in the lock position, and the cart went fast down the ramp and had hit me. Thankfully i was at the end of the ramp so the cart stopped. The person with the shopping cart didnt yell stop for me to dodge it.
Reported to security!
Check your shopping carts and do better!

I was in store on Jan 23/22 around 9pm at checkout.
I was at at the self-checkout side next to the bread section. My husband and I bought a Butcher's Choice Sausage advertised for $9.99 (for optimum member price). But when we scanned the product on the machine it rung in as regular price $11.99. We flagged a Filipino lady (Connie) over to show her that the pricing is wrong and showed her what it shows on the app. She quickly said oh its because it has to be the same flavour as shown (mild Italian flavour). I told her that all the different flavours are in the fridge area and it was labeled as the price stated in the flyer. She kept saying its not and wouldn't listen. Then this older Filipino worker came over (she was the supervisor) and Connie and her kept talking in their own language in front of us and said again to us in English that the sale only applies to the flavour shown on the flyer. I got so frustrated and asked her if she can get someone to go back there and have a look because it was clearly the store's fault for having mislabeled. She calls a worker over (she was African) and she took the sausage and walked back to check the price. About 5 minutes later she calls that Connie lady on the walkie talkie and I could clearly hear her say "oh its in there? ok". So the worker came back to pass the sausage back to connie and she took the sausage and went to one of the register on the opposite side.. pretends to scan the package and then walks back to us and said "sorry, its not part of the sale". She literally lied to cover up her mistake. My husband got so fed up at point that he ran to the back to take a picture of the fridge area for evidence.
When he came back with the picture she still wouldn't give us the discount and she brushed us off so my husband suggested that we go customer service instead. So we had to wheel our whole cart of groceries to the other side of the store and line up at customer service. I told the guy what had happened and I said Connie refused to correct the pricing mistake. He then pages her on the intercom (which she never responded). Then 10 minutes later the other filipino lady from early (who is the supervisor) comes over and pretends nothings happened and acted like she didn't know anything about it. At the end the guy at customer service was kind enough to correct the pricing for us and he was very helpful and rung up the remaining of our groceries. Overall I just want to make you aware that you have some dishonest and incompetent employees working there. The fact that she lied and didn't even apologize is so unethical. The whole checkout process took us about half hour. If you need more info... I have pictures of the employee Connie, and the flyer which showed the advertised price and also a picture of the sign in the store where all the different flavours of the sausages were put together.
Real Canadian Superstore - pharmacy
Waited an hour at the pharmacy for a prescription, the lady told me they didn't have the prescription after a huge line up and wait. I asked for the other brand like the other pharmacy did at the last place. She was very rude and agreed. She told me the other lady had my prescription. I went to see her and she was still taking other clients and ignoring me. My sister had to intervene and ask her about the prescription that she didn't even bother to call the doctor for. Finally she calls the doctor and she wait another half hour. We ask her again and she says she still hasn't gotten the fax. My sister asks her to call the doctor because we were already there for 3.5 hours. She then checks the fax and the fax was already sent so she lied to us. Then she entered it and gave to the crabby pharmacist and told us to wait again and that we would be called. We the pharmacist finish checking it. The guy at the front ignores it and helps other people who are mad as well. After he is done with them I say excuse me can I get my prescription it's done and it's right there. He ignores me and I stand there forever until my sister comes and tells him the same thing and finally he grabs it. Worst experience ever, I don't understand how that place even runs. There was 2 other people there who were waiting and upset as well.

This happened today the Jan 23 at superstore at metro town its very important to read the story and
Publish it as customer service was very poor.
2 adults and 2 kids.
Person 1 and person 2 any(1) and veronica(2) only for your information I don’t want this to be given to the super store at all and not to publish them too.
Person 1 came to the store to buy some stuff . = 19, , .
Person 2 met at 5 pm to get the rest of groceries
Person 1 purchased $19 earlier, but was not needed
Person 1 purchased $46.00..
Person 1 purchased $14..00 if the sign was there person 1 didn’t have to divide the juice and stuff for the oldest son. Simply she adds it at home but today she ask to divide it there.
Person 2 purchased $76.38
Person 2 purchased $14.00
The cashier left behind this items and I paid right away for this,
My request was very simple and not even demanding just that when a customer finds something odd the right thing is to ask for the right thing!
Here we asked for the free item (see coupon) the cashier said that 2 receipts are accepted and I had more than 2 . Okkkk we walked away because person 1 told me lets go to the customer service maybe she has not experience.
I went to the line up, person 1 waited beside me and
I said yes I have a question is this right? For the coupon free lasagna nonononono you cant get it its just 1 coupon per person,
Yes its only one what I have for yes but just 1 receipt

Listen I long time ago asked for it didn’t let me explain
(long time ago I asked that I didn’t make 250 but an earlier purchase was done too, I was told to bring receipts before closing time on the same day and I could redeem the coupon.
She pointed with her finger that I have been here many times with loose receipts trying to get the free item, got the phone and reported to be a customer with loose receipts getting a free lasagna and come to explain to her
Lady are you talking about me, excusemeee no she dint respond instead she pushed my receipts away to the corner of the counter and told me move away.
Were talking about me? I have never come here to ask for it.
The supervisor came down and she took her attention telling her all lies that she knows me with name and phone number, pointed again to me I know you you always come here to get the free item
. Noo its not true what are you talking about, person 1 by my side too and kids, no you are accusing me very ugly, no I have not done this before, I said I would complain because this is false accusations and I want to know all the information from them and how to complain, the supervisor said she will give the lasagna and that’s it,
I insisted the accusation and abuse from this women I wont take it I wan to complain, there was no more lasagna so she said we come back tomorrow, we said no no anymore we wont bring this lasagna home so the supervisor walked away. I called again harder I want a manager here please. We waited on the side,
I turned to person 1 and see she is accusing me, but is not true. I was about to cry and I was holding on so hard
The manager came as I requested to file a complain
The manager came from outside so I talked to her first, she wanted to only talk about her policy of the free item and the receipts,
I cut it off and I said we don’t want and don’t need your lasagna more than this is the acussation I wont take this …….. Excuse my language but I want to tell you why I need to complain, again the focus was on their side, nothing to my side, I was asked to quiet and listen again to their policy, but not I wont get accused for that,
Well she finally went inside and here the version changed that she has said the names and number s are taken and it must be in the book
I demanded again to show me,
I firmly asked Michelle to write down with her hand written their names and employee number
Took a while to finally write down the store number and the way to complain
I count write it myself because it is an evidence that I was there .
I got the coupon and came back to ask them barb, to sign it to verify that this little thing has caused so much trouble.
We went down and I was very upset, I was in pain, my stomach was cramping so much,
By the time we got home my head was exploding, it is now 8;52 and I haven’t even given dinner yet,
And tomorrow to school and to work,
I don’t need to stress out my life for things like this,
As a customer I am doing the right thing,
I had a right to ask and even to ask where is it written specially because long time I was told it can be done if I got the other receipt before closing time,
And just here both of them took things different she said if the cashier was ok to take 2 receipts it was an exception but here we take 2 receipts only if one is coming from the photo depto, not from groceries.
Our name can be used as : loyal customer because I only prefer super store to buy all I need.
This has left me disappointed and upset I don’t know how I will feel the next time I come here.

its not about the coupon, it was the first time i approached them about this, and i let go of it asap, and we are here because of the falce acussations that should have not been said like this,

Tis the season to celebrate! Superstore has weekly promotions in receiving gift cards of $25.00 (or more) if the consumer purchase items totalling $250.00 or more. being 2 weeks before Christmas, my friend and I went grocery shopping to get ready for Christmas. The promotion for the week was "spend $450.00 and get $50.00 gift card or spend $250.00 and get $25.00. Knowing that our purchase would be quite more than $700.00 we decided to go together do our shopping. This store is ALWAYS busy on the weekends and understanding this, we waited patiently for our turn as we lined up to the til to pay for our grocery purchase. By the time we got to the cashier, we had specifically told her that we had shared our carts and this was for 2 families and wish to get $75.00 total gift cards. Well, she either didn't understand us or she forgot because she rang the total as 1 receipt which only entitled us to $50.00 gift card. I immediately corrected her and questioned that she still owed us $25.00. Due to the transaction already finalized, the cashier had to call for a supervisor. This so called supervisor finally shows up and I had to explain the situation all over again. What we got was "this is store policy that under 1 transaction, it is considered as 1 family purchase and anything over $450.00 purchase is given $50.00 only". Understanding this I explained to her that we had combined our groceries to 2 carts and PRIOR to ringing the items, we had specifically said that "2 families and $75.00 gift certificate is what we were aiming for". This "wonderful service" we received caused us to request for our money back as the supervisor did not want to "break the policy". Disappointment, ANGER and frustration overwhelmed me at this point as we were asked to go to the customer service desk to get a refund of our total purchase of $756.00. I felt that this supervisor takes things at heart because out of spite, rather than just giving us our money back so we can head on out and NEVER come back to this store again, she made us WAIT AGAIN before someone could reimburse us back. It took us a little over 1 hour to go shopping BUT it took 2 hours to ring the items and get a refund! GREAT SERVICE, SUPERSTORE! THIS IS THE REASON this store has been nicknamed "STUPID-STORE" because of the LOUSY SERVICE given! Your prices may be cheap but that's ALL this store has to offer.
Due to the POOR SERVICE, I have now boycotted this store located at King George Hwy and 76th Ave, Surrey BC, Canada. Word of mouth is a cheap and a fast way of advertising. I for one use this method as well as voice out my opinion through the wonderful age of computers to follow suit to let everyone know of my experience at STUPID-STORE!
THIS SO CALL STORE ON THE INTERNET DID NOT DELIVER ME MY PRODUCT THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND WHEN I CALL TO CHECK ON THE PRODUCT ITS ALWAYS ON THE WAY I HAVE YET

Unfortunately its superstore..so your complaint will get nowhere! They don't take customer service seriously...

Agreed! The Superstore in Guildford on 104 Ave. isn't much better either! I've had numerous issues with the cashiers and their incompetency over the years, only to have any concerns brushed aside by their managers. The general attitude at Superstore is definitely something along the lines of "get in, get out and shut up". =(
