Went to TIM Hortons this morning. Asked for the red tumbler with an extra large early grey tea with 3 milk and 2 sugar. Had to repeat this 3 times. Was given the wrong tumbler at the window, and after my first sip - I found out they had still given me coffee - after asking 3 times for tea but I was late for work, so I left as to not be late for work, and to not hold up the drive thru line. I called in right after I left, and asked to speak with the manager. The worker said "there's a woman on the phone complaining" and handed to the phone to (what I was told was) the manager. The manager was irate and unprofessional from the moment she got on the phone. I stayed civil and explained what had happened and asked to have a replacement tumble - the one I actually asked for, and for a replacement drink - the tea I had repeatedly asked for. She explained that she can't take the mug back due to COVID, I asked what I should do with the tumbler as it wasn't what I asked for, and she replied "I dont know what you're going to do with it, but we can't take it back". She got louder and more rude as the phone call continued. I said I would be coming back to the store this evening to return the tumbler and / or get a replacement and a replacement tea - or coupon for free replacement as now I have lost trust in the store and what they might do to my beverage.
I would like the drink and tumbler I requested - 3 times.
